This video was a response to our other video titled "3 Ways Kong could kill Godzilla" ua-cam.com/video/yNEKHFLTSUM/v-deo.html it was only fair to make this one. Don't get us wrong. We love both Kaiju! This one hurt to make.
The thing is that Godzilla didn't want to kill Kong, he wanted to make him submit, it's easy to kill someone, it's much harder to beat them into submission
Godzilla easily beat Kong. Remember, Adam Wingard confirms Godzilla was holding back against Kong in the first half of the Hong Kong fight. He thought he had the fight in control and was so overconfident, he got careless. But after the axe struck Godzilla’s face and knocked them both back, Godzilla got enraged and easily beat Kong to near death. All it took was serious mode and Godzilla won easily. Kong never had a chance.
Wingard did say that was also a reason for Godzilla to not go ballistic until Hong Kong, Godzilla was after Ghidorah since the acoustic noises from MechaG were derived from Ghidorah. It was basically Godzilla trying to shove Kong to the side so he could deal with Ghidorah, wasn't until Kong had almost axed Godzilla in the head that Godzilla finally got fed up with Kong
No it was because killing kong would have flopped it at the box office. Im positive the director wanted to kill him off since he is a huge Godzilla fanboy but couldn't because he would hurt his wallet

I love when Goji got pissed and went wild on kong, like he showed how fast he could be on land which was actually surprising since he's usually kinda slow but it makes sense
Im so glad that I was team Godzilla for the movie, cause as much as I love both Godzilla and Kong, I knew that this was a truly unfair fight, and it is interesting to think that Kong was daring Godzilla to finish him off, but Godzilla decides to let him die in peace, it goes to show that Godzilla is much more merciful than you would imagine...
The only reason they kept kong alive for so long is because they didn’t want the kong fans to be saying bad things about there movie. In reality, kong would have been demolished
@@Ghostofcalmaity it’s not that he would just stand there, Kong is much faster than him on land. If Kong’s ancestors were able to rival Godzilla’s ancestors, then it only makes since that Kong can also do it. It also helps that since Kong now knows how Godzilla fights, he knows how to exploit some of Godzilla’s vulnerabilities.
Honestly, gvk was a movie to show how strong goji is. He could have killed kong at any moment. But, like a new Zealand man once said, professionals have standards, so he let him live. Edit: unlike this comment, now.

Knowing that Godzilla was actually toying with Kong, it explains quite a few things. Like how the G-man didn't charge at Kong at the start of the fight at Hong Kong unlike the G-man's fights with Ghidorah and the Mutos. Also how Godzilla relied on just his atomic breath to hit Kong, which costed an axe blow to the face by Kong.

And also if you watched the Movie or the Video, you would see that Godzilla laughs.
Kong did counter some of Godzilla's attacks but it doesn't mean he couldn't easily kill him. Also Godzilla was after Kong because he is a titan and Godzilla must make all titans bow to him. I love explaining stuff.
It's a shame you have to put the disclaimer in the intro. You're really popping out these videos 😃 AWESOME!! 4:54 I figured Godzilla left him to die slowly and in pain or that was a very very generous warning.
I can understand some fans angry towards Kong losing but a lot of the time it's completely unnecessary and I doubt that disclaimer helped but it was nice of them to put it there just in case.
Alteori can you make a primal video that is all about spear and fang not meeting and what would be the outcome and I think that spear would hunt down the red rexes in an ambush attack silently killing all the small alpha rexes one by one and then kill the big one but that is just my theory you can make your own thoughts on what if spear and fang never met
In a way I think maybe Godzilla saw a bit of himself in Kong, a martial sassiness and pride. Sparing him to put him in his place was definitely his intent but I think pushing Godzilla to stop messing about and later the defiant roar tipped the scales that he wasn’t a run-of-the-mill kaiju. It’s something Godzilla himself would do. The later tag team and axe drop solidifying that sentiment in a way. I wouldn’t call them equals but a newcomer with talent put in as a type of lieutenant (but you know, really far away so they both get their turf). As Godzilla is king of the monsters, I could see him effectively instating King as a duke of the Hollow Earth watching over all of that and policing it. “We may not be friends but we certainly aren’t enemies”
If you didn't know. Godzilla has flaming thermal energy between his scale patterns (of course that's thermonuclear goji) So, Thermonuclear is The Gman's full power (or atleast that's what we think...)
I mean let's be real. Even going back to the original film, they had to make Kong bigger and give him this electricity powerup. This film, it was the axe. In essence, kong has really never been on Godzillas level.
No he wasn't. I love King Kong but he was never meant to fight Godzilla so he had to get a major size buff both times to not get one shot and have some special weapon or power to help make the fight viable

Godzilla killing Kong in the Tasman sea would have ended any chance of Apex completing mechagodzilla. Godzilla killing Kong in Hong Kong would have meant the end of not only the Titans, but all of humanity as well. It is fortunate that Godzilla spared Kong, since it allowed both Kong and Godzilla to defeat mechagodzilla and save the world.

Well for method 2 even if Kong didn’t see that cave painting he probably still would have avoided it due to instinct as like shown in the movie, their species where enemies in the past and therefore Kong would know that that glow was dangerous even if he didn’t know what it was, like seen in many species alive today, like house cats that have never seen snakes before immediately jump at the sight of snake shaped toys or items.
I don't agree with you. Ok so here is my point. Cats do not IMMEDIATELY jump at the sight of snake. They take time carefully staring at the thing then they approach it slowly and notice whether its reacting to it or not and if the thing moves around then they will follow it peacefull and then might attack. Its the same for dogs too they do not straight up attack/ bite someone/something they first bark and try to get rid to it if the thing doesn't respond then they might bit it or may even flee. I have stayed in contact with Dogs and Cats and kinda understand their psychology. Cats are kinda curious creatures and like to get some knowledge about the thing and are always slow to react to new environmental agents and dogs are totally different they just straight forward bark even if thats a 15 feet tall T-Rex

@@charlieblank3393 you can see videos of cats hitting snakes not jumping away from them cats are predators and a snake will catch a cats attention much like a string moving the cats instincts will trigger its predator nature and the cat will go for the snake. The whole cucumber thing is also not true my cat isn’t bothered by cucumbers and nether are the cats of a friend I know. the only time a cat jumps is when it’s caught off guard.
So basically, the final Kong-Gman fight was the same as Finn vs Kylo Ren at the end of Force Awakens. Kylo/G toys around, isn’t really taking it seriously. Then Finn/Kong lands on decent hit, and Kylo/G decide to end the fight right then and there. And I thought I couldn’t love Gman any more.
@@monsoon1303 both are valid but yeah, because Vader is much more skilled, powerful and battle experienced than Kylo Ren, much like Godzilla. And Luke is the young, naive, unexperienced warrior trying to breach his opponent's defense, like Kong.
I think it’s also important to remember that while Kong has grown up and is quite clever, agile, and resilient…Godzilla is literally millions of years older than him. For all we know, Godzilla has fought other members of Kong’s species and either won or at least survived. Godzilla seems to be appear aware that Kong is a child of his rivals. Kong seems relatively unaware of this rivalry to it’s fullest. He didn’t have that luxury, and while he put up a very good fight…he was never going to really win. Godzilla was likely measuring him up as well as put him in his place. Not to mention, Kong and Godzilla’s overall intelligence seem to be on par with each other. Kong may have faster reflexes, reactions, and even process information faster that Godzilla. However, Godzilla’s slightly slower thought process and reactions may also be because he thinks more in the overall long term due his immense age. Godzilla doesn’t use tools the same way Kong does, but he seems to know how to use every part of his body extremely effectively. He knows he’s far, FAR more durable than Kong. He knows he’s taller, longer, and heavier. Most importantly, he knows what his advantages and disadvantages are overall. If he’d done battle with a Kong before, he would likely still remember how they fought. Not to mention, since he’s become the Alpha/King Of The Monsters, he’s become a much more active fighter again. His movements when fighting the MUTO’s and Ghidorah reflect that he was still a bit rusty after millennia of passive patrol. (Not to mention getting a power boost from Serizawa’s and Mothra’s sacrifice.) Maybe if Kong had fought Godzilla as he was in 2014, he might’ve won. It’s likely one of the reasons that Godzilla spared him was because he was impressed or respected how well he managed to fight back despite his age and unfamiliarity. I don’t think he was going to drown Kong when they first fought, and likely let him go when the depth charges were launched. He just wanted to put the fear of Godzilla in him. Kong’s not a weakling by any means, he was just clearly outmatched for all intents and purposes.

Everything I outlined was how Kong was outmatched against Goji. That said, Kong still put up a good fight against the King Of The Monsters all things considered. Yeah, I’m a big fan of Kong, but I am Godzilla guy first. Always have been. Doesn’t mean I can’t give credit to Kong for giving it his best in an uphill battle.
During the time in the movie where king figures out that his axe absorbs the atomic breath, there could have been use of plot armor there since if kong didn’t have his axe up or didn’t know, there would be death and destruction at that scene.

Easy moment you missed is the spot were Zilla literally slapped Kong in Hong Kong once he had the big monkey on the ground. He could have just as easily ripped Kong's throat out with his claws.
The strength difference was also shown in their first encounter in the Tasman sea. When Kong punched Godzilla in the face all it did was push his head to the side. When Godzilla returned the favour, Kong was knocked flat on his back.
@@azzmeisterful You do have to remember Kong was sedated and still managed to hold Godzilla's arms underwater. The difference in physical strength isn't monumental between them.
In their initial fight on the aircraft carrier, instead of charging up his Atomic Breath and being open to interruption, he could've done what he did in Hong Kong and stomped on Kong's chest while the latter was still dazed from getting bitch slapped.
There's also the fact that depositing the depth charges would have seriously damaged Kong's lungs godzilla has a bit of a healing factor that kong doesn't which means damage to Kong's lungs can be a little bit more fatal
Fantastic videos as always. Though I will say: had the humans not stepped in to save Kong he would have died from the chest stomp. It's something I found a while back where basically Godzilla caught him with a blunt force (his foot) at the right moment (Kong trying to breathe/roar) that triggered his heart to stop functioning and would have killed him. It's called Commotio Cordis. It's like such a rare thing to actually get right, but Godzilla practically did just by stomping on his chest. The immense pressure that was lifted off of Kong's chest is honestly surprising no ribs appeared to be broken. You can clearly see his chest almost pop back up into it's regular shape when Godzilla's foot is lifted and Kong is allowed to breathe properly again.
@@ryndor2899 Immediately stop the heart, but it's pretty tricky to do as there's a certain spot on the chest and a very fine window for it. In the case of plot armour Kong survived. In the case of had this actually occurred, Kong would have been killed immediately. Since plot armour dictated that Kong's window of vulnerability closed before both chest stomps, Kong got away very lucky.

I'm a Godzilla fan. But I have to give Kong props for his intelligence but Godzilla...well it's fucking Godzilla. If Godzilla had wings it would've been all over faster than a bullet. Also I love the scene where Godzilla goes full "Oh? NOW YOU FUCKED UP" on Kong. Pure primal rage in those movements.
Godzilla is just as, if not more intelligent than Kong. However, what makes Kong stand out is that he's a primate and, thus, shares many characteristics easily recognizable by humans.

Honestly, to me it felt less like plot armor and more like Godzilla didn’t actually WANT to kill Kong. The first time they fought Godzilla was definitely fighting to kill, but he was also in a foul mood and probably stressed out of his mind, and in HK he just wanted him out of the way. Godzilla was really just done with everyone’s shit in GvK and it’s so funny.
Read the novel. Adam saved face with hardcore G fans. The novel and artbook states they fought all night till the morning earning mutual respect. Adam contridicted the synopsis of the film. When Kong put Godzilla down the King got up. When Godzilla finally put Kong down he tried but couldn't. Godzilla never shows mercy. The novel states his rival with Kong was more hated and older then the 3 headed one. Kong was holding an Ax with a dead Gojira specie dorsal plate. Why didn't Kong jump on Godzilla when he put him down? Respect. Why didn't Godzilla fire his ray in his face after Kong still didn't bow. Repect. The 2 battled all night. Didn't Adam say that was the reason Godzilla didn't land a blow on MechaG? If Kong could've been easy and quick it would've been. This is the Only Kaiju film you can make that nobody knows who will be the winner. Marketing was great. The movie was great. Then Adam wants to say something that is different from the synopsis after the film? Did he not read the prequel comics,novel, and artbook??? He directed the film. He didn't write the plot. He gave his vision of the plot by directing the film. Ex) A sedated Kong surviving the Tasman sea was increible. The truth is Godzilla was tricked. The novel stated he came back looking for Kong's body. Then knew he was at the cold place. He was angry for being ricked. Godzilla was also looking for the hidden one(MechaG). It had an Orca built inside. The Orca signal sends an Alpha call. He wanted to know who or what was challenging him. I'm glad the score is even between the 2 Icons. Did you ever read the sequel to the 62 classic??? That movie was stopped by Merian C Cooper if I remember. That really would've upset G fans if that released. It said King Kong killed Godzilla. It's a great read. I've waited over 40 plus years of my life for this rematch. I wish Adam just kept quiet. Let the fans cuss and discuss. I know I saw the 2 most powerful forces of nature collide in a battle for the ages. Godzilla won the fight. Komg won the film.

Godzilla went to HK to see where the hidden one(MechaG) was. Going into the HK battle I didn't feel that one was more superior then the other. I thought Kong put up a better fight at sea then Ghidorah. The HK fight was the best in any kiaju film ever. I thought when Kong put Godzilla down that the King got up. When Godzilla finally put Kong down that Kong tried but couldn't. Godzilla got the win to even the score. After the 62 film, reading the sequel of the 62 film, I felt it was fair for both icons that Godzilla won. It felt a little like some dumb wrestling plot. Godzilla then loses the title and Kong destroys MechaG winning the film. Both acknowledged each other in the end. Then Adam Wingard comes out with something to please this new hardcore G fan base. Most are kids and don't appreciate how grateful we should be for GvK because how hard it was to get these 2 together. I think having an opinion doesn't mean I favor one over the other. Your casual fan would view it the same way. Adam's film was fun. He didn't owe an explanation. He wants to direct for films and decided to say nonsense. Nobody thought that after watching the film. Actually it's the only VS film you can make and truly have ZERO CLUE who will win.
@@tedunseth3966 Dude the novel contradicts the film. Also the frame by frame of the film shows Kong’s axe DID make contact with his face. And the impact itself caused the explosion. The atomic breath did not save him at all. It was fueling the axe’s impact power. Adam Wingard’s words are deemed canon.
@@tedunseth3966 Kong never had a chance of winning. Even if Godzilla was down. His bare fists can’t even hurt Godzilla. His durability is too much for Kong. Banalization tends to contradict what the film depicts. When they said they fight all night until sun rise, The film clearly shows a different picture. It wasn’t sunrise until after Godzilla beat Kong.
I am a huge fan of both the G-Man and Kong. Loved the 2014 Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island, top favorite movies. What I hate is the toxicity between Kong fans and Godzilla fans. It makes me scrunch my fists tightly and grit my teeth. Goji Center is an amazing channel and I always love watching and re-watching there videos. You deserve every like and subscription you get.
Idk why but I kinda just want to see a scene where godzilla did not make a hole to the hollow earth and instead waited for kong to show up, just to do that atomic breath on him instead. It was stated that godzilla was very weak and tired after doing the "Hollow Earth Breath" so imagine if he used it on kong instead
For that atomic blast to carve out a tunnel big enough for a Kong to go through and being up to several thousand km long, the energy required is insane. Its more energy than several thousand nukes. I never liked that plot point.
As a huge Godzilla fan of course I was happy to see Godzilla win. What made me more happy though was that even in defeat Kong stood his ground. Don't get me wrong I love both King Kong and Godzilla sure my respect is more biased towards Godzilla it's true. I argued with so many people that Godzilla would be the victor especially if it was a fight to the death. Though seeing how Godzilla won and that Kong stayed true to himself even faced with death I gained new respect for King Kong.
Kong is great but seriously. Put a gorilla in a fight with a dragon and the winner is obvious. I did like that kong didn't submit but I'd didn't really matter if he did submit or not because he was slowly dying right there 😂😂
I'm suprised how yall didnt say anything about how kong jumping on godzillas back should had skewered him. Godzilla sharpened those dorsal plates in dominon so they were far from being dull.

I mean can we be honest for a second, it was Kong who kept coming after Godzilla, cause at first Godzilla was just going to apex bases due to mechagodzilla's ping which made him think "Ghidorah" Kong just kept getting in the way. The hollow earth drill that Godzilla did is because 1 he destroyed it to let his family rest, 2 Kong activated that circle which triggered Godzilla. You can even notice Godzilla was still on his mission even after he blew into the hollow earth, Kong just yelled and challenged him, and even when Kong's defeated Godzilla is still making his way to that mountain. So let's see here, Kong was always in the way 🤔

Maybe godzilla sensed Kong who is an alpha titan wasn't in skull island anymore (which is kongs Territory) maybe that's why he might have intercepted the carrier with kong on it due to him not being in his territory anymore so he decided to attack and go for the kill since he's an alpha titan and you know their can only be one alpha Titan. But that's just my explanation.....But we all know that the director and/or the creators probably didn't really bother explaining it in the movie or just didn't have time😅
See at this moment at 6:29 I knew godzilla would have won the fight, I told my siblings this but they didn't believe me and said that king Kong would won all of the fights... and now this will show them that I am correct and they were wrong. @@GojiCenter Yeah, I know there are apes that can swim and dive pretty well. But in this case we are talking about a huge ape that has never swam at such a depth, in such cold water, and additionally dragged there by force, after having exhaled most of the air from its lungs, and also stunned by depth charges. Kong's plot armor was really strong at this moment.
Not gonna lie, I was raging that they made Godzilla less durable than before, for reference: an all kiling bomb was dropped directly at him, after a nap he is fine, and in Godzilla vs Kong normal rockets almost knocked him over (of course it wasn’t that bad, but human tech NORMAL tech was harmful to him in some scenarios)
It’s not they nerfed Godzilla, they just buffed the human artillery and in the Godzilla comic, They described that the weaponry has been upgraded and Godzilla is feeling the pain of them
This is actually pretty cool, love how goji center presents Godzilla and kong both have ways of killing eachother brutality. This video may be satisfying to many gfans but it’s a good thing it didn’t turn out that way. Kong and Godzilla are both important titans. Glad they made peace for now. Looking forward to the mechagodzilla brutality next.
Kong does take a couple of glancing blows from Godzilla's atomic breath. He seems to heal quicker than normal animals as well. Honestly though the only reason kong stood a chance in the last fight was because it was in a city where Kong could use the buildings. I wish they would do something that showed that Kong is much smarter like using weak points and "strategies" of some kinds but they just did the slugfest which favors Godzilla by a longshot

The other way that Godzilla could’ve killed kong is when Godzilla blast a hole to the hollow earth and hit kong and soon made him a burnt skeleton and so the Hong Kong fight won’t happen in this scenario and so Godzilla would fight Mecha-Godzilla without kong and probably be fully charge since Godzilla didn’t fought kong in this scenario
Fast forward to right after New Empire, G really went for the kill this time using the same moves. Stomp the chest but this time he'd have blasted him on Egypt until Mothra arrived.

The thing is that Godzilla didn't want to kill Kong, he wanted to make him submit, it's easy to kill someone, it's much harder to beat them into submission

Godzilla easily beat Kong. Remember, Adam Wingard confirms Godzilla was holding back against Kong in the first half of the Hong Kong fight. He thought he had the fight in control and was so overconfident, he got careless. But after the axe struck Godzilla’s face and knocked them both back, Godzilla got enraged and easily beat Kong to near death. All it took was serious mode and Godzilla won easily. Kong never had a chance.

In a way I think maybe Godzilla saw a bit of himself in Kong, a martial sassiness and pride. Sparing him to put him in his place was definitely his intent but I think pushing Godzilla to stop messing about and later the defiant roar tipped the scales that he wasn’t a run-of-the-mill kaiju. It’s something Godzilla himself would do. The later tag team and axe drop solidifying that sentiment in a way. I wouldn’t call them equals but a newcomer with talent put in as a type of lieutenant (but you know, really far away so they both get their turf). As Godzilla is king of the monsters, I could see him effectively instating King as a duke of the Hollow Earth watching over all of that and policing it. “We may not be friends but we certainly aren’t enemies”

I don't agree with you. Ok so here is my point.
Cats do not IMMEDIATELY jump at the sight of snake. They take time carefully staring at the thing then they approach it slowly and notice whether its reacting to it or not and if the thing moves around then they will follow it peacefull and then might attack. Its the same for dogs too they do not straight up attack/ bite someone/something they first bark and try to get rid to it if the thing doesn't respond then they might bit it or may even flee.
I have stayed in contact with Dogs and Cats and kinda understand their psychology.
Cats are kinda curious creatures and like to get some knowledge about the thing and are always slow to react to new environmental agents and dogs are totally different they just straight forward bark even if thats a 15 feet tall T-Rex

So basically, the final Kong-Gman fight was the same as Finn vs Kylo Ren at the end of Force Awakens. Kylo/G toys around, isn’t really taking it seriously. Then Finn/Kong lands on decent hit, and Kylo/G decide to end the fight right then and there.

I think it’s also important to remember that while Kong has grown up and is quite clever, agile, and resilient…Godzilla is literally millions of years older than him.
For all we know, Godzilla has fought other members of Kong’s species and either won or at least survived. Godzilla seems to be appear aware that Kong is a child of his rivals. Kong seems relatively unaware of this rivalry to it’s fullest.
He didn’t have that luxury, and while he put up a very good fight…he was never going to really win. Godzilla was likely measuring him up as well as put him in his place.
Not to mention, Kong and Godzilla’s overall intelligence seem to be on par with each other. Kong may have faster reflexes, reactions, and even process information faster that Godzilla.
However, Godzilla’s slightly slower thought process and reactions may also be because he thinks more in the overall long term due his immense age.
Godzilla doesn’t use tools the same way Kong does, but he seems to know how to use every part of his body extremely effectively. He knows he’s far, FAR more durable than Kong. He knows he’s taller, longer, and heavier. Most importantly, he knows what his advantages and disadvantages are overall. If he’d done battle with a Kong before, he would likely still remember how they fought.
Not to mention, since he’s become the Alpha/King Of The Monsters, he’s become a much more active fighter again. His movements when fighting the MUTO’s and Ghidorah reflect that he was still a bit rusty after millennia of passive patrol. (Not to mention getting a power boost from Serizawa’s and Mothra’s sacrifice.)
Maybe if Kong had fought Godzilla as he was in 2014, he might’ve won.
It’s likely one of the reasons that Godzilla spared him was because he was impressed or respected how well he managed to fight back despite his age and unfamiliarity.
I don’t think he was going to drown Kong when they first fought, and likely let him go when the depth charges were launched.
He just wanted to put the fear of Godzilla in him.
Kong’s not a weakling by any means, he was just clearly outmatched for all intents and purposes.

Easy moment you missed is the spot were Zilla literally slapped Kong in Hong Kong once he had the big monkey on the ground. He could have just as easily ripped Kong's throat out with his claws.
The strength difference was also shown in their first encounter in the Tasman sea. When Kong punched Godzilla in the face all it did was push his head to the side. When Godzilla returned the favour, Kong was knocked flat on his back.

Fantastic videos as always. Though I will say: had the humans not stepped in to save Kong he would have died from the chest stomp. It's something I found a while back where basically Godzilla caught him with a blunt force (his foot) at the right moment (Kong trying to breathe/roar) that triggered his heart to stop functioning and would have killed him. It's called Commotio Cordis. It's like such a rare thing to actually get right, but Godzilla practically did just by stomping on his chest. The immense pressure that was lifted off of Kong's chest is honestly surprising no ribs appeared to be broken. You can clearly see his chest almost pop back up into it's regular shape when Godzilla's foot is lifted and Kong is allowed to breathe properly again.

@@ryndor2899 Immediately stop the heart, but it's pretty tricky to do as there's a certain spot on the chest and a very fine window for it. In the case of plot armour Kong survived. In the case of had this actually occurred, Kong would have been killed immediately. Since plot armour dictated that Kong's window of vulnerability closed before both chest stomps, Kong got away very lucky.

Godzilla is just as, if not more intelligent than Kong. However, what makes Kong stand out is that he's a primate and, thus, shares many characteristics easily recognizable by humans.

This is the Only Kaiju film you can make that nobody knows who will be the winner. Marketing was great. The movie was great.
Then Adam wants to say something that is different from the synopsis after the film? Did he not read the prequel comics,novel, and artbook??? He directed the film. He didn't write the plot. He gave his vision of the plot by directing the film.
Ex) A sedated Kong surviving the Tasman sea was increible. The truth is Godzilla was tricked. The novel stated he came back looking for Kong's body. Then knew he was at the cold place. He was angry for being ricked.
Godzilla was also looking for the hidden one(MechaG). It had an Orca built inside. The Orca signal sends an Alpha call. He wanted to know who or what was challenging him.
I'm glad the score is even between the 2 Icons. Did you ever read the sequel to the 62 classic??? That movie was stopped by Merian C Cooper if I remember. That really would've upset G fans if that released. It said King Kong killed Godzilla. It's a great read. I've waited over 40 plus years of my life for this rematch. I wish Adam just kept quiet. Let the fans cuss and discuss. I know I saw the 2 most powerful forces of nature collide in a battle for the ages. Godzilla won the fight. Komg won the film.

We're supposed to believe from the novel that Godzilla's rivalry with Kong was older and more hated then the 3 headed one. Kong is holding an Axe with a dead Gojira Species dorsal plate but Godzilla ONLY got his ego bruised makes NO sense. The truth is his atomic ray saved his life or the axe is lodged in his head. Why Adam had to come out and defend his movie made zero sense.
Going into the film Adam said" this is the battle of ALL battles". That makes sense from the synopsis and novel.
At NO time in the novel did it say Godzilla was having fun with Kong. The truth is Godzilla went berserk. He adjusted his style and won.
Adam then says if Godzilla wasn't tired and he would've beaten MechaG??? REALLY??? He couldn't land ONE hit on MechaG. Which one is it Adam? Kong was the battle of the ages or was Godzilla playing around? I'm going by the novel and my EYES.
Godzilla spares No Titan. We could put the shoe on the other foot? Why didn't Kong jump on Godzilla after he knocked him out briefly? Respect.
The way I viewed the film without ANY fans or Directors saying a word was quite different.
This was how I viewed the battles between the 2 Icons. The battle at sea was great.
I hear people saying" it's a loss for King Kong". Really??? Out in the middle of the ocean and sedated. Kong was never going to win. IQ is a trait. I don't care if Kong landed more blows, or Godzilla was going to drown Kong. The fact is both were hit by depth charges. Kong was worn out. Godzilla left the scene because he was tricked. In the novel, he returned after he checked his turf and came back and looked for Kong's body. According to the novel, he was angry becuase he sensed him at the cold place. Godzilla was on his way to Antarctica until MechaG's orca(Alpha call) came. Godzilla went to HK to see where the hidden one(MechaG) was.
Going into the HK battle I didn't feel that one was more superior then the other. I thought Kong put up a better fight at sea then Ghidorah.
The HK fight was the best in any kiaju film ever. I thought when Kong put Godzilla down that the King got up. When Godzilla finally put Kong down that Kong tried but couldn't.
Godzilla got the win to even the score. After the 62 film, reading the sequel of the 62 film, I felt it was fair for both icons that Godzilla won.
It felt a little like some dumb wrestling plot. Godzilla then loses the title and Kong destroys MechaG winning the film. Both acknowledged each other in the end.
Then Adam Wingard comes out with something to please this new hardcore G fan base. Most are kids and don't appreciate how grateful we should be for GvK because how hard it was to get these 2 together. I think having an opinion doesn't mean I favor one over the other. Your casual fan would view it the same way. Adam's film was fun. He didn't owe an explanation. He wants to direct for films and decided to say nonsense. Nobody thought that after watching the film. Actually it's the only VS film you can make and truly have ZERO CLUE who will win.
@@tedunseth3966 Dude the novel contradicts the film. Also the frame by frame of the film shows Kong’s axe DID make contact with his face. And the impact itself caused the explosion. The atomic breath did not save him at all. It was fueling the axe’s impact power. Adam Wingard’s words are deemed canon.
@@tedunseth3966 Kong never had a chance of winning. Even if Godzilla was down. His bare fists can’t even hurt Godzilla. His durability is too much for Kong. Banalization tends to contradict what the film depicts. When they said they fight all night until sun rise, The film clearly shows a different picture. It wasn’t sunrise until after Godzilla beat Kong.

I am a huge fan of both the G-Man and Kong. Loved the 2014 Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island, top favorite movies.
What I hate is the toxicity between Kong fans and Godzilla fans. It makes me scrunch my fists tightly and grit my teeth.

Idk why but I kinda just want to see a scene where godzilla did not make a hole to the hollow earth and instead waited for kong to show up, just to do that atomic breath on him instead. It was stated that godzilla was very weak and tired after doing the "Hollow Earth Breath" so imagine if he used it on kong instead
For that atomic blast to carve out a tunnel big enough for a Kong to go through and being up to several thousand km long, the energy required is insane. Its more energy than several thousand nukes. I never liked that plot point.
As a huge Godzilla fan of course I was happy to see Godzilla win. What made me more happy though was that even in defeat Kong stood his ground. Don't get me wrong I love both King Kong and Godzilla sure my respect is more biased towards Godzilla it's true. I argued with so many people that Godzilla would be the victor especially if it was a fight to the death. Though seeing how Godzilla won and that Kong stayed true to himself even faced with death I gained new respect for King Kong.

I mean can we be honest for a second, it was Kong who kept coming after Godzilla, cause at first Godzilla was just going to apex bases due to mechagodzilla's ping which made him think "Ghidorah" Kong just kept getting in the way.
The hollow earth drill that Godzilla did is because 1 he destroyed it to let his family rest, 2 Kong activated that circle which triggered Godzilla.
You can even notice Godzilla was still on his mission even after he blew into the hollow earth, Kong just yelled and challenged him, and even when Kong's defeated Godzilla is still making his way to that mountain.
So let's see here, Kong was always in the way 🤔

Maybe godzilla sensed Kong who is an alpha titan wasn't in skull island anymore (which is kongs Territory) maybe that's why he might have intercepted the carrier with kong on it due to him not being in his territory anymore so he decided to attack and go for the kill since he's an alpha titan and you know their can only be one alpha Titan. But that's just my explanation.....But we all know that the director and/or the creators probably didn't really bother explaining it in the movie or just didn't have time😅

But in this case we are talking about a huge ape that has never swam at such a depth, in such cold water, and additionally dragged there by force, after having exhaled most of the air from its lungs, and also stunned by depth charges.
Kong's plot armor was really strong at this moment.
Not gonna lie, I was raging that they made Godzilla less durable than before, for reference: an all kiling bomb was dropped directly at him, after a nap he is fine, and in Godzilla vs Kong normal rockets almost knocked him over (of course it wasn’t that bad, but human tech NORMAL tech was harmful to him in some scenarios)

This video may be satisfying to many gfans but it’s a good thing it didn’t turn out that way. Kong and Godzilla are both important titans. Glad they made peace for now. Kong does take a couple of glancing blows from Godzilla's atomic breath. He seems to heal quicker than normal animals as well. Honestly though the only reason kong stood a chance in the last fight was because it was in a city where Kong could use the buildings. In the middle of a desert, the sea, almost any other terrain on the planet, except mountains and cities Godzilla has the overwhelming advantage.

I feel like there wouldn't be a situation where Godzilla didn't win, just because he's not the type of monster to just call quits and run away.
I wish they would do something that showed that Kong is much smarter like using weak points and "strategies" of some kinds but they just did the slugfest which favors Godzilla by a longshot

The other way that Godzilla could’ve killed kong is when Godzilla blast a hole to the hollow earth and hit kong and soon made him a burnt skeleton and so the Hong Kong fight won’t happen in this scenario and so Godzilla would fight Mecha-Godzilla without kong and probably be fully charge since Godzilla didn’t fought kong in this scenario
He still used a lot of energy to create that hole in the hollow earth so I still think he would lose since mecha was weakened mid-battle.
Fast forward to right after New Empire, G really went for the kill this time using the same moves. Stomp the chest but this time he'd have blasted him on Egypt until Mothra arrived.
