    I have the dual sport version and absolutely love it. It's the chugging champ for sure.

      I have a lot to learn about riding dirt bikes, but it sure is a blast and the 300R is a perfect bike for it! Thanks for watching!

    Nice bike. I have been contemplating getting a 300r. They are about $4k used in Oregon right now. I need something to follow my small children around. Something that doesn't require a lot of maint and has fuel injection and electric start. I need a short first gear as well.

      You literally just explained why I bought this bike. I have a 7 year old that is cruising a CRF50 and I wanted something to cruise behind him. I love the fuel injection and electric start!
      I love the KLX300R as its really low geared so I can just put behind my kid. It lugs so well that I can still get out and do some single track trail riding and go anywhere my brother does on his KTM XC-W 350.
      Plus the KLX doesn't break the bank since you can get them for relatively cheap.

      That's great. My 6yo son is also on a Crf50. My 12 yo son is on a crf125 and is just as fast as me on trails. I still have to help him through the really narly stuff. We were out riding last weekend and it sure would have been nice to have estart and FI. My old KDX250 runs well but still needs carb adjusting now and then. How is the transmission on the 300r. Any false neutrals, does it click into 2nd and 3rd easily?

    • @darkcanyon8648
      @darkcanyon8648  2 роки тому +1

      I bought a CRF110 in anticipation of my 7yr old growing in to it. Getting out riding with the family is always a blast!
      E-start is especially awesome when trailer riding. Especially when you're a novice like me.
      I'll admit I don't have a bunch of experience of different bikes. I hit a false neutral every once in a while(maybe 1 or 2 times per 5 hour trail ride) but I have always chalked it up to me being a relatively inexperienced rider. I have always been a big fan of my bike! I would suggest it to anyone

      They are the perfect Dad Bike. Bullet proof design, motor/chassis been around since '95. Probably only needs a $20 13t sprocket really. Great power, smooth controls, awesome suspension.

    Impressed with the chugability of this bike. Thanks for sharing your ride. What do you like most about this bike?

    • @darkcanyon8648
      @darkcanyon8648  2 роки тому +3

      100% agree. This bike chugs awesome!
      Probably my favorite thing about this bike is that it is very predictable. Very linear power band so I know exactly what I'm getting when I twist the throttle. Makes trail riding, especially when going over roots and rocks so much easier.
      Thanks for watching. Do you have this bike as well?

    Shift up a gear or two, and it will go smoother, use the clutch to smoothen it out.

      @@darkcanyon8648 Try to stand when your driving, at Least i feel I have more control when I'm standing, and then it's much faster to adjust the balance.

      What I can recommend especially for the majority of everyone watching is to record in 4K which i believe your doing and render your videos in 1080p the way it encodes it has less pixels being shown and looks more like it does when you watch the raw footage from a editing software. Hope this helped

    What handlebar / handguard combo are you using?

    • @darkcanyon8648
      @darkcanyon8648  2 роки тому +1

      I run Renthal Ricky Charmichael bend handle bars. They are the fat bars 1 1/8". Then I have Cycra Pro Bend handle bar guards. I put both of those on myself after buying the bike.

      Totally agree quality wasn't quite there. I have found that if I change the settings on my computer/phone to show the video at higher quality this video ends up looking a lot better, you might try that.
      It's my first video and I even asked in the comment section for tips on getting higher quality. Any tips?
      I have made some changes and feel like my videos are coming out more crisp. Thanks for watching though!

      So far the only things I have added were some head lights and a new handle bar.
