Fun Fact: The Lego Movie actually never used stop motion, but was specifically animated too look like it did. Bricks and minifigures moved in ways that were possible in real life, giving it a home-made feel
Fun fact: The Lego Movie’s credit role was actually animated with Stop-motion animation. But the rest of the movie was definitely digital animation. But how awesome would it be if LAIKA Studios did make a movie with Lego Stop-motion! I’d kill to see that!
Btw I'd recommend using an animation trick called easing in and out. It's where when something/somebody moves, the movement starts slowly and speeds up in the middle of the movement and then slows back down again at the end of the movement like real life. But if somebody is landing a punch or hitting the ground, then the movement crashes and doesn't slow down at the end.
i'd say my favorite part was spiderman litterally hitting the griddy but my favorite stop motion was the scene of commander sausage fighting the clones.
Also a Protip for the lightsaber igniting animation: if you have the twirly blue transparent iron man Beam bar, use that after using the cylinder peices, and its now more cool!
Fun Fact: Actually, ALL the Lego Movies havent been made with stop motion, but, with the 3D Blender software, as a matter of fact, a youtuber is so skilled at it that made the WHOLE FRIKIN' ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE TRAILER WITH LEGO ON BLENDER AND THE ACTUAL ATS SPIDERMAN MOVIE SAW IT AND HIRED HIM TO ANIMATE ALL THE LEGO SPIDERMAN SCENES IN THAT MOVIE, LIKE, WHA-
Actually not horrible but after lots of practice it’ll look even better, being a stop motion UA-camr myself I know at the beginning it won’t look good but actually this looks decent
WHERE IS THE CREDIT FROM AUTOBRICKS' ANIMATION? Edit: As an animator, I would recomend start making short animations and then start making big projects
You are my favourite UA-camr. You are funny entertaining and overall A good person. Thank you for making these past few months of my life a little more entertaining. Thank you.
Maybe try some camera techniques to show some movement also the props were perfectly animated with the blaster shots and lightsaber ignition but think about moving the figure itself more and how a person would move if they were to throw a punch or swing a saber or some techniques like easing in and out 👍 Also quick tip i would use bluntac insted of tape because its more flexablr dosent lose its stick and re-usable well done 👍
The Darth vader battle with seargent sausage reminds me of a mix between pink! pow! Kaboom! from pink panther and pals, the dreamy Mario battle from Mario and Luigi: dream team, and the ultimate heist battle with Ben and albedo in ben 10: omniverse and that is why it is my favorite animation from this video forever and ever. Nothing can outmatch this masterpiece… =D
Non of the lego movies were made with stop motion, only the end credits were. The actual movies were animated to appear like it but subtle details like moving faces and more shows it's animated.
The Lego movies weren’t made with stop motion. They were just animated to look like they were made with stop motion. It’s just a great choice by the animators.
I’m posting this from my school bathroom. Don’t snitch to the teacher!

I can't believe how realistic these LEGO animations look! Amazing job!

Cool the b3
Yooo
Hi B3

Another awesome video as always.
Have always loved your videos, just posted my first one in over 10 years and excited to get back into animation!
Videos awesome and it also was Liddy. I think my favorite part was the Lex butter bottle.

Dude Brick Culture is so wrong
OMG you just inspire me to do Lego Stop Motion lol

Let me tell you the truth, making a movie about lego stop motion is extremely laborious and meticulous
Sergeant Sausage is the GOAT!
This is cool but try to do some animation movements that will be better
Really enjoyed this one! Making me want to rip out the old camera and film a stop motion. Used to do it all the time as a kid with my sister lol
i'd say my favorite part was spiderman litterally hitting the griddy but my favorite stop motion was the scene of commander sausage fighting the clones.
Yooo this is Fire!🔥🔥
Small Tip, Try ease in and ease out.

That was so cool and satisfying! Brilliant work! Keep up the amazing videos!

😢
I’m a stopmotion animator, and this is pretty good.
Use some easing in and out next time.
Add some camera movement.
And keep practicing.
thanks for the tips! always room to improve
this is the BEST stop motion Lego video I’ve ever seen!!!
Lesson learnt: sergeant sausage is a unit
keep up the good work👍

0:13 actually the Lego movies were made 100% CGI😢 I know it’s sad… But it’s the truth😢😢😢😢😢
Yeah, the CGI was meant to replicate stop motion
The last animation is crazy good 👍! Good job
WOW I couldn't make something that good in a year.
This is so cool i wish i could animate stopmotion this good. Keep up the good work!
We need more of lego Spider-Man hitting the griddy
