Thank you for your video! I need one clarification can you at present use motion array assets for FCP on iPad? Or we need to wait?
At the moment plugins are not yet available for fcp on the ipad but overlays can be applied.

I'm thinking of getting an ipad for video and picture editing but as someone who uses a Sony camera and android phone how easy is it to get footage from no apple products into the editing program?

Actually want to start out making basic content and for budgetary reasons my choices are limited…very torn between getting a MacBook Air m2 or iPad Pro M2 (both preloved but in great condition). Tho I still am very much inclined to work with a pencil and having versatility, I hear the Macs have more access to editing functions. And I’m dreading looking for files in the IPad.
If you were a starter, who is fresh from using android only, which would you get? The iPad Pro or the MacBook Air?

I would go for the macbook air and start learning a free editing program like DaVinci. You can also test out FCP 90 Day for free (which is my preferred editing software). You just have more options in editing and editing on the iPad is great but for more simple projects.

Bro, this was solid. Remember that you can add on lenses and filters as well to add that cinematic effect and control lighting better. Also, filmic pro is a great app to use to record as opposed to the base camera app. Again, solid video!

What are the links for your setup with the handles? The links are not working for me, for some reason.
Just the case and handles for the ipad.

Sorry for the probably stupid question... talking about the shooting quality, are there differences with an I Phone? I mean, I had an Ipad but the camera was much worse than the camera of the Iphone of that era... how is, in terms of video quality, this new Ipad compared to the Iphone 14 pro?
You’ll have better image quality with the iPhone 14 Pro due to the larger sensor and therefore better low light capability. With the iPad you get the best result when filming in good lighting conditions.
@@BenettGraezer comparable with a good mirrorless camera o worse? I think It's much worse than a camera like a Blackmagic costing 1200 dollars, but maybe an Iphone is like an 800 dollars camera... your opinion? Thanx in advance
My issue with my current iPad (Air) is that when I’m editing videos around 30 minutes long it starts lagging and gets very hot. How does the Pro fair in this?
Yes unfortunately true, i find it good to edit simple short videos up to 10 minutes. For more complex video edits I prefer Final Cut Pro

I recently bought iPad pro 12.9. And the camera quality is at worst. Photograph are grainy and at slow motion video blinking. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated ?
I would only recommend shooting in good lighting situations, also the main 1x lens will give you the highest quality of all three lenses, avoid shooting towards the sun, make sure he lens is clean, lock expsore and white balance for a consistent look in your video. Hope these tips help get you the most out of your iPads camera :)

Hi Benett... how to make masking transition post production using Final Cut Pro for iPad ...it seems draw mask effect is missing in iPad version of Final Cut Pro... is there any workaround to do masking transition like in some of your earlier videos using iPad version of Final Cut Pro... pls guide.....(refer @6:00 ........ ua-cam.com/video/6yfqp49WH8U/v-deo.html )
As of right now, I haven’t found a way to create a masking transition with fcp on iPad :/

@@BenettGraezer when you open the camera there is a gear setting on the corner that you show and the quality of yoru video is super good. I got the same ipad but none
This gear icon is available inside Final Cut Pro, you‘ll have to open it through there to get the advance functions

look bro. I didn't have enough money to get a computer and a camera. so I bought a tablet and wish I would have just got the iPad tho. but the idea behind this video is def pos. I did it for a year
Thx for sharing your experience! I think with Final Cut Pro on the iPad editing has gotten way more fun. The other apps like luma fusion and Davinci are great and even offer more functionality however the user experience is definitely not as great as FCP on the iPad and once third party content will come into play, it will only get better :)

No, its the only editing software that uses the magnetic timeline which works a bit different :)
