@@ericlefevre7741 Thanks for the additional information. I really dont like any softening up of hymns, and this hymn has some powerful truths which we should respect. I cant sing, and so I have to ponder on the words!
Thank you so much! I have missed this type of music that I grew up with, for it's depth, spirituality, sincerity, doctrinal richness, and musicality! I appreciate this beautiful tasteful and unpretentious performance!
Thank you. It's wonderful when someone with such a beautiful voice leaves you with the feeling that you're overhearing a prayer, rather than listening to a performance.
Beautifully sung and played! What a blessing to hear - and an important reminder of our great privilege to be a part of the family of God. Thank you for using your gifts to bless us and glorify God!
Soon I am returning to Mass. I am sorry for Missing Holy Week - Happy Easter to all of you. The Music is so beautiful. I'm doing much better. Thinking about next Sunday Morning at Sacred Heart (Divine Mercy Sunday) - the Church I have belonged to since Baptism. Easter Music should be sung all year.,
@@randallscottredman1090 Happy Easter to you my friend and everyone reading this. Was truly a Blessed Easter and i thank God for making it so Special... God will welcome you back my friend...
I just found this video a few minutes ago (early October 2023). It’s now on a couple of my private playlists. I will definitely be listening to this many times. This is one of my favorite hymns. To me, I like it both sung as a solo with minimal instrumentation (such as this version), or if it is sung by a choir with orchestral accompaniment.
A peaceful and wonderfully performed hymn, thank you. It’s featured today, August 14, in Robert Morgan's inspiring book, A Song in My Heart, "366 devotions from our best-loved hymns”.
I was reborn in October, I got baptized as a baby, and I got rebaptized yesterday and took communion, went to Lent service last night and we sang this song it made me smile, and get goosebumps.
Thank you dear Friends for the gift of this very sweet recording. I woke up this morning with the beginning of the hymn in my head, so I went on UA-cam to find it. What a blessing that your version appeared so easily. May your ministry to us greatly increase in our day. We desperately need the beauty and power of these lovely old hymns. You have served us well! May the LORD'S rich blessings be with you! Chris. UK
Thank you Jesus for establishing our Church, your pillar of truth, in Jerusalem to the apostles, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the early Christian martyrs. Help us to love her with our own life as you did.
I have been listening to this over and over again. I've greatly enjoyed the hymn and the way you guys did it ( the words and melody, and accompaniment are clear, simple, and soothing). Not knowing your circumstances, I do sincerely hope you are well. If it's possible please do more hymns like this. Be well, be happy, be blessed.
A great Blessing to hear this Annointed Hymn so well done. The simplicity of the instruments, and clarity of her voice, makes the message much more powerful. Thank you!
Thank you! She sings many Sundays which may be viewed here on our channel. Watch it live streamed at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. We are overjoyed the music has blessed you in His name.

A beautiful hymn. She has a lovely voice, perhaps a bit more practice to prevent sliding to pitch might have been warranted, but a nice rendition regardless.
The lyrics are so simple, but the theology is so rich. There is real beauty in simplicity.
true..something that is missing in most of the popular songs now
Sung beautifully but it has been diluted by removing the third verse which contains some challenging words for today,

Great voice and excellent performances on piano and cello too. A beautiful treatment of a well known and loved hymn.

Brilliant performance. I all thanks to Almighty God for making me a Christian. Jesus is Lord!

A very astute comment, most relevant to our day.
There is,a world of difference between performance and worship.
Thank you
Probably the most beautiful hymn I've ever heard.
The whole story of Christianity condensed into one magnificent hymn. Makes my skin tingle!
and not just the story of Christianity as a religion, but as a new humanity, restored and reconciled on the day of Pentecost.
Yes! It is apart of a set of hymns about the apostles creed.
Lovely version of this hymn. Thank you for sharing with us.

found this song from the book"under his wings" by Jon Lewis
Beautiful.
The best I hear sing that song clear diction
I noticed in the words written that it says with the God the three in one. I remember it as , with God the three in one.
Because that's the voice Jesus chose.
