Brown's Town is one of the principal towns in St. Ann Parish, Jamaica. In 1991, its population was 6,762. The town is a market and road center in an agricultural region. Brown's Town - 6 miles south of Discovery Bay
A visit to Brown's Town in St. Ann is a great way to see a genuine Jamaican market town. Brown's Town is one of the most important and biggest inland town in St Ann, it market attracts farmers and vendors from all over the surrounding Blue Harbour Mountains and further afield. It is best to visit on market days (Wednesday, Friday or Saturday) to see the town at its liveliest.

That area is where most people from surrounding districts, like Orange Hill, Philadelphia, Top Road, Goshen ,Wilberforce, Trysee, Knapdale, Retreat,Lower Buxton,Upper Buxton, Green Hill, St Dacre, Alexandria, Nine Mile, Charlton, Glasgow, Redhills, Linton Park, Top and Bottom Retirement, Turner, Scarborough, Peat Shop, Percy, WATT TOWN. Caledonia, Gomorsel, Madras, Endeavor, Gibralter, Samaton, Train Line, Lime Tree Gardens,Thatchfield, Macedonia, Tooting, Skipton, Mt. Nebo, New Castle, Darlington. Thats the only market that service these areas. They need back the Alexandria Hospital to service these area. St. Ann is the second largest Parish with only one hospital. Its a shame, where are the councillars for these areas. St. Ann,'s Bay hospital is overflowing. Whats going on, no one speaks up, we need more people to talk up. Its nice showing Brown,'s Town. But they need another hospital. Keep Up The Good Eork. Blessings.

Browns Town always reminds me of Mandeville with a similar layout, hilly terrain, and several colleges, etc. Outside of Falmouth and Port Antonio, the town contains the highest concentration of Georgian architecture on the island, which needs to be preserved. Great video as usual 🙏

Brown's Town has grown so much in the last 30 years I became lost in some of the new street layouts. I bought all my construction materials, medical supplies, market supplies and legal services here when I came down out of the hills from my "bandulu" operations in the good old days when there was "gold" in them hills. It looks like a lot has since trickled down into town these days.

The fruits and vegetables are looking sooo bright and colorful. I rarely comment but I've been watching your videos for years. At least it Feels like it lol. I've been to Nigeria too it woukd be awesome if your walk by could take you to Nigeria and Ghana so you could walk by some places there like their markets and such to show the similarities of a people so far apart but so similar in mannerisms etc. It's crazeee

That's where my father is from, and i was told my grandfather had a bakery there year's ago .

I’m just sorry every time I go to Jamaica and you know go to different places and what not and this reminds me of people that just don’t want to take care of anything nobody paints anything nobody picks up the trash and it’s terrible. I’m not used to this because I live in America very well to do area and then you come here and you wanna enjoy your time and then you look at things and it just looks dirty I stayed in a great fabulous place but we wanted to explore omgosh what we saw was just unbelievable
