Awesome video 👍. My great grandad used to plow snow for the northern Pacific railroad with a big d8 caterpillar. It was his job to keep stampede pass free of snow
I consider myself way out of the loop when it comes to scale model trains since grade school in the late 1970s. But I'm amazed at how they evolved not only in detail. But how they now have the power to push and pull "loads". Lol.
Yes they are very powerful nowadays. This particular engine is an Aristocraft Dash 9 and weighs about 18 pounds. It can pull 30 to 40 cars very easily.
@@cjjaxxon yes, G scale is bigger than the Lionel O scale trains. I have a G scale USA Trains Hudson that weighs in at 48 pounds! It's a beast and can pull just about anything. Check out some of my other videos and you'll see how big they are.
Thanks for letting people in the North know they too can have garden and snow rail ways. Very cool. Great I need proof I can have an another addiction.
Congratulations and celebrations New Year 2020 ! Anyone loved railway wanted to own his railway Sir you can done it! N scale O scale S scale HO scale people loved railway just fine!
You can buy these G scale trains from Piko, LGB, Bachmann, and USA Trains by Charlesro.com. Check them out. You can run these trains indoors or outdoors!
I really enjoy snow plowing videos with real engines and moreover I'm a H0 enthusiast. But this is just amazing, keep up the great work. Feeling a little bit jealous and seriously considering some larger scale ;)
I already did sir ;) I enjoyed the cab ride along the yard. I also appreciate your good taste in choosing materials for your surroundings and there's still so much potential like some big rocks to simulate some mountain ranges. Just an idea.
I love model trains. I grew up with Lionel trains and liked setting up long track runs. The idea of continuing the tracks outside would have been super cool but I never would have cut a hole in the side of the house to do it.
Hey Yancey. These are garden trains and are meant to be ran outside. Carrying in $3000 worth of trains in a hurry because of an oncoming storm warranted the doggie doors. Also, some of these can weigh 60 pounds and not very easy or fun to carry around. The doors go into my garage and not the house itself. Check out my other videos and you'll see how it runs through the garage.

This is tremendous. Put a huge smile on my face.
That's impressive! Your plow's snow clearing and the engine's tractive effort make a great pair.
An excellent video. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. ♡ T.E.N.
I grew up with N Scale. I loved it as a kid. Now, 40 years later I have dived back into it.
Awesome video 👍. My great grandad used to plow snow for the northern Pacific railroad with a big d8 caterpillar. It was his job to keep stampede pass free of snow
