Houston 2.0 with daniels. Both stroud and daniels from the same area , close friends actually and go to 3D throwing camp . which is why they both have similar throwing mechanics, his throwing is good the running is the icing on top . He can throw like stroud , and run like Lamar . Scouts at his pro day said it was Erie how similar it was in comparison to stroud . Dallas lost Their DC, still neeed a rb and WR, Philly is on their 3rd OC and defensively gotten worse losing players. The NFC East will be fun to watch this year. Commanders still have the most cap after adding players and have six picks in the top 100 including the 2nd overall . Texans 2.0

I'm an Eagles fan, and if the Commanders (with 6 picks in the top 100) have a great draft they will worry me. They have weapons on offense and a coach that transformed the Cowboys defense. So if he replicates that same success with the Commanders then the NFC East will be tougher next year.

As a Commanders fan, I don’t think we are a 10+ win team….this year. I will say getting to 8 or 9 wins is a success. We just want our team to start moving in the right direction. Getting a new owner, coaches, and letting half the team go was a great start.

I think we’ll get 7 wins this season. We are slowly getting rid of Synders team and building a winning structure back. This is just year 1.

Not sure how you don’t mention Payne and Allen when talking about this team. Plus you add Quinn and Whit who will be twice as effective at deploying them than Captain Ron. Dallas and Philly are both candidates for regression this year as well. Both coaches on hot seat and both lost key players.

As a Commanders/Redskins fan, We have new ownership, new coaching, new system, many new players.... It is unrealistic to think that the team will challenge for the division first year.
Giants are garbage
Philly is overrated and will be exposed
Dallas is a paper tiger
Redskins are who I am taking to win that division, they will be overlooked and it will be a mistake.
Washgt is one of the most interesting build/rebuild project of the NFL with Houston, Packers and Colts. Let's hope they follow the Lions's path.
The thing is we have alot of picks this draft in the top 100 and we have a easy schedule. If we hit on qb and a few more picks there will be alot of winnable games and we could easily make a push for the playoffs thats the nature of the NFL look at the texans and theres been many teams that reload quickly around a young qb and find success if that young qb has serious talent.
Every year there are 8 new teams in the playoffs. Bears and skins? Jayden against Caleb? The teams do play each other during the regular season.

When People talking about we lost our best defensive players i know off top they haven’t watched the Washington. M. Sweat was a loss for sure, but since then we’ve made more gains in the offseason. Chase young is not a loss for what he brought to the defense unless you’re referring to the hype coming out of college.
I hope we draft JD5 and watch this newly reconstructed Washington team jell together. Some of these ex players commentators are going off what they may know about the Dan Snyder era. But it’s a new era in Washington.

Let's be clear, the fans hope for, but don't even expect 9-10 wins this season. Still have to fix the tackle spots and figure out the dawgs on defense. That said, the answer to this question should be yes. But it's not because of JD...it's because of competence.

The NFC East is a wide open division every year. The Cowboys and Eagles are wishy washy af. A majority of the time an NFC East team is in that wild card so if you're asking me do I think Jayden can at least sneak us into a wild card spot, second in the division, absolutely! The Cowboys haven't done much this offseason, they still got Dak, and they might be aiming for Shedeur in the next draft. How the Eagles played the last half of the season was very interesting, Sirianni gotta get his stuff together or he gonna be out the door after this coming season, and the Giants....lol. So yeah, barring good health, I definitely believe at the bare minimum we can sneak into a wild card spot.
