I still remember the "WTF!? feeling" I got the first time I played Agony on my Amiga emulator and immediately recognized the title melody. Stian Aarstad wasn't only inspired by this melody - he had copied it tone for tone and renamed it Sorgens Kammer.
Dimmu's version sounds better without doubt. After all, the sound quality was quite limited on the Amiga compared to a professional keyboard. The problem, however, is that Stian didn't mention that he had copied the melody from Agony. Had he/they given credit to the composer and published it as a cover track, it wouldn't have been a problem at all. But publishing the track as if he had actually made it himself is not only theft, but also very immoral/low in my opinion.
hmmm, all this talk about musical theft, .... Maybe we should ask the professionals, Led Zeppelin, I mean, Page is in the Hall of Fame after all.. I think we need to change the word Plagiarism to Pagiarism.
Beautiful❤
Stian Aarstad = Genius. He created the black-metal keyboard style. Dimmu Borgir made a big mistake, but that's life. Dimmu Borgir(1993-1997). R.I.P.
totally true
I'm listening it for first time... I didn't think dimmu borgir made songs like this in past...but I like this song a lot!
dude thats more than 80 minutes right there :p, i love their old records

The irony of this tune is I guarantee more people know about THIS than some Amiga game...

I know its come from the Game AGONY on amiga, but I see it in a hold FF in my mind

FODA ESSE SOM!!!!!
Pode não ser considerado BM por muitos, mas a musica é foda e pronto!!
lol, it's actually a soundtrack from an Amiga game. very grim and trve indeed.
FareWell Dimmu Borgir
Du caralho!!!
im pretty sure ive heard this before
You know they mainly did a re-record to remove Stian Aarstad's two plagiarized melodies (Sorgens Kammer and Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen intro)?

Oh how they ruined themselves. Almost as sad as this song.
