when i overprocessed my hair, the bleach left chemical burns on my scalp. i had about 5 of them mostly at the top of my head lol

I only use splat and have not had any issues and if you get it on your skin, it comes off super easy with alcohol and soap and water. And it lasts extremely long. But that just my experience 🤷 not everyone is the same and not all hair is the same. I have heard great things about artic fox and Brad Mondo's dye, and they sucked ass for my hair. Didn't last at all and wasn't vibrant. I have used splat for years and always get asked what do I use.
Same here, love splat. Tried artic fox but only stayed in two weeks then faded. Splat stays for so long i love it
The only time I went to a salon to get my hair dyed (deep blue all over), the stylist ranted about how difficult splat was to get out of hair and how that's why professional stylists tend to dislike it. The ironic thing was that when she did my hair, I lost most of the color after the first wash 😅
@@lindsayrose26 same! I tried AF on my bangs and it washed right out🤦 and I just changed my hair from purple and blue to orange and yellow, had no issues getting the splat out. And I'm not a professional. But everyone's is different honestly and it doesn't work for everyone. I tried Brad Mondos colors, love him and his hair care. But his color line did not work with my hair. And I've heard rave reviews about. But yeah splat is and will always be my go to.
@@once.upon.a.time. if me, a non professional, was able to get purple and blue splat out my hair to put yellow and orange on, then it must be a big competition to pros cuz they are losing clients or something and that's why they hate it so much 🤷 I really don't know why they hate on it so hard 😓

@1:36 if this happens don't just throw wella toner on it, wella won't magically lift the yellow pigments out, and there are better products/toners on the market anyway, lol.. Miss Clairol has a product called extra hi-lift, that lifts (up to 7 shades!) and tones (while wella only deposits).. It won't even out streaky color but it will lift and neutralize it and make it look passable (I have used it to remove color before though and it worked really well). I had white blonde hair for years and years and the blue base coolest blonde shade was my go to product (the violet base shade works really well too, it has a super pretty silvery sheen at first and fades to a neutral ash). The product actually lifts so well I could even use it on my roots (for reference my hair is naturally between a level 2 and 4 dark brown with heavy red/orange undertones) and it would completely lift/tone my roots platinum in one treatment with zero banding (I'd refresh it every 3-4 weeks so the roots were never very long, I think the longest I tried it on was about 1/2- 3/4 inch new growth and it still didn't band at all.. But I don't know how this would work on grow out over an inch, it really depends on what other processes you do in between).. I cannot recommend this product enough, it saved my hair on multiple occasions and I've also used it on lots of other people and always had good results.
