To anyone who wants to piece themselves, DO👏🏻NOT👏🏻PIERCE👏🏻YOURSELF!!!! Go to a professional for that, and not a super market chain store, an actual professional tattoo and piercing studio! It may cost more, but its far more worth it! I've got ALL my piercings from a professional piercer, that being my septum pierced twice, my ears pierced, my snake bites pierced and a helix, only the septum (first time) and helix became infected, but that was due to negligence, so please, whatever you all do, get your piercings from an actual professional 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's also best if you go to a place that is just a piercing place because sometimes if you go to a tatto and piercing place they might not be trained properly in piercing people

i’ve done all my piercings myself even my nose piercing and all of them have healed amazingly and are even and didn’t cost much to pierce them :) most places near me for even lobe piercings it’s $80 and it’s ridiculous

Dang, I got my ears peirced and they got infected 6 to 7 times before healing.
Use rubbing alcohol it helps sm it prevents infection

At around 18:00, yes your piercing is wonky. It's really crooked asf. Not only that but they used the wrong barbell. I am not a professional, so I don't know about the actual jewelry but I have had my septum pierced twice. My first time and another one a few months later after it healed. My piercer did it right both times. You should go get that fixed. Also, it won't be left with a hole especially if you just got it pierced. It will close up in a day or two. Keep cleaning it, though, as it is still an open wound until healed. The best advice is to take it out and have it heal and get it re-pierced.

8:25 No, it's probably just stuck further up your nose or you swallowed it on accident. You would have definitely felt a little piece of metal heading down your wind pipe. Your ENT might find it pretty much fossilized up there years from now tho

30:05 I had that issue as well. It's because your nose is swollen. Use an L shape jewelry until it heals.
A way to have it work also is put your finger on where the interior hole and just try to poke through.
I’ve gotten my ears pierced at Clair’s twice when I was younger and I actually didn’t feel any pain or infection. Remember everyone is different and has their own bodily reactions. I got mine done at Colorado Springs.
I also got my ears pierced at a place like Claire’s, I was too young to know better. But we’re the exception as most piercings done with guns either don’t heal right or don’t heal at all. Going to a professional piercer is always the best and only option.
same here! probably same location- mine was in the mall down south but yeah! my ears havent closed up and the piercing has never given me any trouble except for im allergic to some of their cheap metal earrings so thats a thing...have had it pierced for over like 6.5 years now i think ...but i honestly still wouldnt recommend going to a place with piercing guns
(i honestly think part of the reason mine turned out okay was because the girl using the piercing gun actually had like numerous body mods- both tattoo and piercing- so i trusted her a bit more)
Same here! I got 3 on my lobe. My one was done when I was a baby with a needle. The my 2nd and third at Claire's. Never had an issue. It's different for everyone.
I got my ears pierced at Walmart 💀(with a piercing gun) my ears were fine and healed well even tho I was a kid and barely took care of them or cleaned them at all but they closed up now and I’m gonna get them re pierced at an actual piercing studio

I didnt realize how much piercings actually costed till now, my mom is a professional piercer, so she did all mine with stuff she already had, she did about seven on me till she taught me, and now I do my own✌️ (Don't yell at me, I was taught by a professional, I've been peircing myself and others under her supervison for a year now, I know what I'm doing.)

Luckily all my piercings are healed and I always have replacement for every piercing I have... Helixes, conch, daith, lobes, stretched ears, nostrils on both side, septum, vertical labret, tongue piercing.. sooo I have lots of piercings like the girl on the video. 😊

This has happened to me before. Since you already got the front out, the hard parts done. You just have to pull the back out. If it’s not bleeding, you do not have to go to the ER like I did. I hope this helps!

for the back peice stuck in the ear thing. the same thing happened to me. I recommend grabbing a taper from a gauge set or any clean small pointy object (like a thumbtack or something). and getting someones help to fish it out using the object.

I think even the earring backing got stuck INSIDE MY EAR once. Let’s just say the aftermath was really painful... and bloody. I never got earrings there again.

Yo when I was a kid I got the back piece stuck in my ear because I kept pushing it back because I thought it would get loose. It is definitely really painful to push it out and scarred the back of my ear a bit. It was on my right ear and my mom spent 45 minutes pushing it out. It was deep in there but it eventually came out. I never put earrings on for about 4-5 years until a friend of mine didn't want some earrings her friend had gotten her and gave them to me. I didn't want to say no so I took them and had my friend push them in my ears. I thought they were closed up but to my surprise they were still there, It took a while though. Now I wear earrings again so a note to everybody, don't push on the back of the earring. It will go in your ear and it will HURT.

Got both of my double ear piercings from claires. Didn't hurt at all, no infections, and it looks good. And imma be honest, i didn't clean them twice a day for 6 weeks like they said. I cleaned them twice a day for like 2 weeks. And took them out before 6 weeks. I did everything wrong and mine good amazing and did amazing 💀

i got my ears pieced at claires when i was 7 or 8 and then the right one got infected and then a couple weeks later I took them out and then they closed a bit so we had to push them back in very painful and then a couple more months and they got riped out when i was at gymnastics my hair got caught on my ear and my hair also stuck to my leotard so yah fun times

12:37 I got my nips pierced during a tattoo convention. I was standing there topless as 30+ people walked by the booth! Granted, the piercer did offer a privacy screen, but at the time it was folded up and it was so cramped behind the booth that setting up a screen would have been a hassle, so I opted out. So, I just turned sideways, stared at the wall, and told myself that everyone was too busy looking at the tattoo flash to ogle my chest.
To clarify, I'm not trying to invalidate her experience. I expected some exposure to occur (it was a tattoo convention ffs), while she expected a private studio experience. Just wanted to share.
Im pretty sure that one time i got the earrings back almost stuck in my ear and luckily i pulled it out with a lot of force and some pain before it got to bad but i didnt know that the earrings back almost got stuck in my ear
please for the love of god STOP PIERCING YOURSELVES, the price of getting them professionally done is worth it compared to messing it up and getting severely infected. also as a psa never go to claires or any other place that uses a piercing gun, you should be getting any and all piercings with a hollow needle including lobe piercings.

I pierced my own septum with NO experience because I’m a fucking dumbass, and I am so so lucky that it was in the right spot, straight, and didn’t get infected. Don’t do piercings yourself
Not to mention I PASSED OUT once I realized the needle was in my nose, I got crazy lucky but getting it perfect with no experience doing it yourself is absolutely NOT COMMON

I pierced my own ears many times and my nose twice by myself and nothing comes close to the pain when I got a daith piercing. That shizz was super effed up!

I hope she’s that lucky, it may have gone into her sinus cavity which isn’t as bad as the lungs but can cause a world of problems. On the bright side retrieving it from a sinus isn’t some major surgical endeavor, just a little video claw game for the dr lol

I've been doing self piercing these prior years. maybe I'm that lucky that I've never experienced any infection and the healing process takes 1-2 weeks to fully healed. 15 ear piercings in total and all was done by sewing needle. I'm planning a nose and belly piercing but I'll go to professional piercer this time.
Piercings that on average take 6+ months to heal were absolutely not healed in 2 weeks lol
I did my own piercings at my grandmas house using sewing needles yep that's right, I didn't have any aweful infections after that, that was years ago when I did it, now I get to enjoy seeing my own piercings I did to myself lol (ear piercings)

Chick @30:55 mine did the same thing so I just took some pliers and straightened out the curled part So instead of it looking like a curl it looked like an L shape.
