When I was losing weight I bought my smaller sizes at the Thrift store. That way I didn’t feel bad when I dropped another size and needed to donate those clothes and buy a smaller size. The prize for reaching my goal was a wardrobe of NEW clothes. You’re doing great!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💝
On the other hand, this first go around probably needed the brand new clothes! So exciting and motivating!! What a nice reward for all the hard work!! You go, Mama!!!!
1 lost 130 lbs last year on a low-carb, intimittent fasting 16-8 program. We have a store in town that buys good used clothing and then they donate the remaining to a local thrify store. I started out in a size 24-26. Iam now a 12-14 (medium). I had so many clothes in totes in my basement from 12's to 24's. from years of dieting During my weight loss, I must have taken over 10 totes of clothes there. They don't give a much, but I had alittle spending all summer.
Try to remember that muscle weighs more than fat. This means your scale won’t change as you build up your muscles. Muscle is leaner than fat. This is why measurements and clothing sizes can sometimes be a better way to gage your progress. Muscle burns fat, even when you are not exercising. This is why is so important to continue working to build and strengthen your muscles even when the scale doesn’t register progress. You will reach a tipping point and then the progress will be seen on your scale as well as in your body. I’m so impressed by your efforts and I am inspired on my own health journey. ❤️
Agreed! I lost 150lbs this last year and I didn't lose weight the first month or two, but then it snowballed and when you have the muscle you burn the day so much more efficiently. Keep consistent Erica! 💓
1kg of fat and 1kg of muscle weigh the same - muscle hpwever is denser so 1kg of muscle will be about 2 or 3 times smaller in physical size than 1kg of fat. So a person whos all lean muscle like a ballerina can easily weigh the exact same but be shorter & 4 sizes smaller clothes wise than a average more curvy rounded tummy soft thighs female would whose taller than her. Genuinely my can still fit in kids clothes mid 20s adult bestie weighs more than me and im hourglass and a head taller than her shes slim and short but all muscle. Whereas i have like zero muscle an am just an average size female not overweight or anything so were both in the healthy range but we could literally not look more different and i look much heavier whereas shes like lifting a boulder. And i dont mean like shes a kg heavier either shes 5 to 10kgs heavier which i want to say is about 10 to 20lbs but idk for sure. Either way weight is a super poor indication and so is clothes size since most people dont wear fitted clothes anyway and it varies which is why tape measure is the best indicator besides actual body composition and medical tests.
@@EmmaAppleBerry of course you are correct. Thank you for being so diligent in clarifying what I was trying to say. I am sure that it is very helpful to all who read the comments.
I am in aww, its so nice to see a REAL life experience and not just before and after pics. I am currently 90 something kgs and im hoping to be around 65kgs - 75kgs for my wedding. I will be starting IF soon! with weekend 10000 step walks. Wish me luck!!!
This is my second week of keto based diet plus 3000 steps per day. So far lost 7lbs. You r a inspiration to me. I also intermittent fast. I am a carb sugar addict. I bought foods I enjoy and have the mindset that food is fuel. I know I can do this. My Dr said I was pre-diabetic. 66 years old I refused to allow my retirement years be sick years. Worked hard all my life. Now it's time to enjoy.
I'm 44 years old, and after some shoulder issues and a hysterectomy, I'm really out of shape! Your videos have encouraged me to just start where I am and not burn myself out the first day. I got an Amazfit band to keep track of steps because I don't carry my phone with me all day. I started exercising more and paying attention to food about 3 weeks ago. I have dropped a little weight but like you, the scale is not moving very fast. But seriously, your videos have been a major encouragement to just keep going even if I'm not seeing immediate results.
I love intermittent fasting. I started it accidentally as a new mom and once I realized how I was eating, made an effort for it. It isn’t for everyone, so may not be appropriate for those who have a history of disordered eating. But, it has helped me to no longer feel hangry or give in to compulsive eating.
I can recommend a fitbit. It is light and serves as a watch, counts steps, shows your pulse and calories used (not exactlyof course). It really motivates me to walk more steps. Usually I hit 10‘000 2-3 times a week. If you can, do some errands by foot. Sometimes I even walk around in my house just to get my last few steps to reach the goal 🙈
Loved this video. Isn’t it amazing how we can focus on other important things such as health, family and friends when our stuff and excess isn’t weighing us done? One of the many benefits from minimalism.
Hi Erica, you have discovered by accident, just like I did, that walking at a moderate pace is brilliant exercise. I confirmed this with my doctor, that if you do brisk walking, it takes you from fat burning stage to a cardio workout. This is better for you if you are insulin resistant. Keep doing what you were doing.❤️
I have historically hated stretching but a friend got me into "yin yoga" which is slow pace, holding a pose for several minutes and I started to really like it. Now I stretch almost every day using some of my favorite yin yoga poses and it feels amazingggggg. I actually look forward to it!
I am 54, type 2 diabetic, married for 27 yrs, mom of 5 and g-mom of 14. You have inspired me to get up and do something. Im in a size 22 as of now. I wanna be around to see my g- babies grow up. This really seems like something I can do and Im going to give it a shot.
It’s January 2023 and this is the first video of yours I’ve watched. And I love you. I’m an older mom too. I’m 47 abs my kids are 4 and 5 years old. I love walking and I love intermittent fasting but I’ve gotten out of the routine of all of it since becoming a mom. It’s time for me to take care of myself better so I can be around longer for my kids and be my best self for them too. You have helped me today. Now I’m gonna binge your videos while I clean my house and go for a walk before I pick up my kids from school 🥰. Thank you!
Congratulations! Great job! I started w the 16/8 then moved to 18/6 and now I’m pretty comfortable with a 20/4 🎉 I’m losing weight, feel great and like you have tons of energy. Cheers!
I love th UA-cam channel Fabulous 50’s. She has a variety of exercise videos that you can choose to do one or several a day ranging from 5 mins to about 30 mins in length. Videos from morning stretches to targeting arms, legs or waist etc. You don’t have to be 50 to get started.
I do intermittent fasting for my type 2 diabetes (along with keto) I've lost 28 lbs since beginning of Feb. More importantly, my A1C went from an 8.3 to a 5.2...whoop!! I found this time the healthy choices are becoming easier because I've got more motivation to avoid medication rather than some nebulous "I want to be a certain weight. "
I did intermittent fasting some for diabetes as well. Changing breakfast seems significant. I'm only down to 5.9 A1C from 6.5...but I want to decrease more so I can shed medications. I also walk a 6000 steps-9000, 5 times a week so I found about a 35 pound weight loss in a year. You're younger though, so I'd expect you'll be able to see results faster.
I dropped 70lbs in 5 months doing keto without exercise. I cut out sugar and other carbs were cut back to 20 grams. My high blood pressure, cholesterol, borderline diabetes were all corrected. I have since fallen off the wagon but have not gained any weight in a year. I watch it every few days to make sure. You are doing great. I swapped out my fruit smoothies for bacon and eggs to stop eating sugar and it really helped.
Erica this is a wonderful talk from you. Remember your body is ALWAYS burning fuel, whether it is from you the food you put in your face or your own body fat. This is why fasting is so beneficial. This is what our fat is there for, or we would die in the night.
I just want to say, You go girl! The weight loss and health gain are a journey and you’re well on your way! About seven years ago, I lost 35 pounds and I can tell you that the scales do eventually reflect your efforts; it seemed for me that it was only after I realized that the drop in numbers wasn’t nearly as important as the dress size drop and the “lookin’ good” compliments. Last year, I injured my hip so, a setback, but I’m slowly walking again and that ole great feeling is back. Thank you for sharing your experience; it’s really motivational!
I’m so impressed with your motivation and effort. I walk every day and I always try to meet that 10,000 step goal. What really helped me do that is to get my longest walk done first thing in the morning. Keep going…you are doing great! :)
It’s so great to see your eyes sparkle while you are talking! I want to feel that way as well. I started IF 3 days ago and I’m just easing myself back into better habits. It’s very encouraging seeing how well it is working for you! I’m 47 and it has definitely gotten harder to shed the lbs I’ve seemed to battle most of my life. 🤦🏼♀️
I lost weight just by walking 10,000/12,000 steps a day for five months, six days a week, good sleep lots of water and low carb diet. 👌🏻 Those months went by super fast and i lost 30lbs. I have three little kids and i now weight 106lbs. By the way, walk on an empty belly on the mornings, good luck everyone.
It is so inspiring to see your transformation. First the mental transformation getting in to the right headspace that something needs to change. Second shedding all the excess belongings. Third transitioning into the next headspace of physical personal change and now to see that you are stronger both mentally and physically. I think of when I first found your channel you were sitting in your storage/homeschool green basement behind mountains of stuff overwhelmed. I look at where you are now. This is proof we can all do anything if we put our mind to it. Celebrate all that you have achieved this far. You have always been beautiful but I must say you do have a new light of happiness shining through.
You are so motivating. I started walking the first week of July because of you. I loved that you didn’t set limits and just said go for a walk. I also have a physical coming up in August and wanted to make some changes beforehand. I just had my blood work done last week and my sugar numbers are up to diabetic level. So just this week I’ve started the intermittent fasting and cutting carbs. I’m doing the 16:8 just like you are. So far in only a week I feel better and have more energy. I can’t wait to see my body change and clothes fit again and eventually get smaller sizes. I’ve watched Dr Michael Mosley on UA-cam and I’m now watching and reading all about fasting to change my glucose levels. Thank you for your channel and sharing your journey.
Thanks for sharing your journey! I have struggled for years losing the “baby weight” (my baby will be 10 ina few weeks!). I tried intermittent fasting a few years ago but I found it wasn’t sustainable and quit after a week. I am back to trying it again and starting with a 14/10 because my snacking time is after dinner. So I fast from 5:30 or 6 pm until 7:30 or 8 am. So far it’s going well! I find that I am making better choices during my eating window and not eating junk before bed helps a lot. I have also started walking every morning, I am up to a mile at this point.
You’re motivating me. I’m going to give it a try. I’m going to print out your printable for walking and begin intermittent fasting. Your intermittent fasting schedule seems very do-able, I’m going to try the same times as well. Thanks for the video!!
Ditto! I never considered intermittent fasting or even just chill walk schedule i was always the 5kms or 30 mins! Or like chloe ting schedule 😂 i mean im not overweight but im chronically ill and have like zero stamina and building muscle is my goal just gaining energy etc so these have really helped me get some renewed inspiration. On a side note youre really pretty! I wish you luck with your own journey!
I started a few months ago and I’m loving it. 16-8 is a great goal, but some days I am able to do only 12-12 or 14-10 and it’s ok. Some days will be easier some won’t. But you have to keep going. Sundays were usually hard for me because my husband is home and eating next to me and later in the evening too, so I gave myself a pass for Sundays. I lost 10 lbs so far. Good luck!
Just stick with it , I am now at around 160days and the feeling is fantastic . Now approaching 71years old i really feel better than 20 years younger . The inches go before weight , not that I need to really lose weight but it has gone . No food for me after 6pm or before 10am . Cut out bread and dairy , so too pasta . You are going to feel great with patience and just sticking to it .Drink water too .
Good for you!!! Just like with decluttering our homes, we have to find what works for us as individuals when it comes to health. The numbers don't matter. Your goal is to have more energy and to feel healthier. You're achieving that goal. Yay you!!!
I am so happy for you and your weight loss, added energy and feeling healthier! Kudos! It's wonderful you could get to the place where your home's inventory wasn't ruling your day, and you have extra time to get in a walk. You have made such strides in focusing on what IS and ISN'T important in your life, and you are an inspiration to others to do the same!
Erica, your journey is so exciting!!! I am so happy for you and really, really proud of you! (Is it strange to be proud of someone you only know virtually? I feel like you are a friend). Something that really resonated with me was your idea of getting rid of the all or nothing mentality. That has held me back all my life. Time for me to let that one go too. Thanks so much for this inspiring video. Keep up the wonderful work. We're all cheering you on! 💕👍👏💜🏵
What a great video, Erica. I love every topic you discuss - no matter what it is. Yours is the first channel I *run* to whenever they pop up in my (subscription) list for the day. I love hearing about your life in general; your decluttering; your weight loss journey; all of it. You look FABULOUS!! Keep up the great work!
So proud of you! I'm also so thankful for your share! It's incredibly motivating for me and others! Which is the biggest hurdle ongoing...staying motivated! Please be safe walking alone in the evenings as you've mentioned. Borrow a big neighbor dog or find a walking buddy. I'm dorky, but there are too many scary stories for us ladies. Wishing you further success in your wellness goals!
I’m so happy I ran across your video! It made my day! My doctor is suggesting weight loss surgery and I just do not want to go that extreme. So I started researching intermittent fasting and came across your video. How amazing you are! I started my fasting yesterday and you have me looking forward to the challenge! You look beautiful and I know you will only get better. By the way, your clothes are always the true validation not the scale! The scale gives you a number, your clothes and how you look and feel in them will show the true success!
Just found you tonight. I've watched like 20 videos of people discussing IF and their experiences. Yours is the first that is really hitting me right, giving me that motivation/inspiration/yeah-it's-time-to -actually-do-this-thang. Thanks for taking your time to document and publish your journey thus far. :) Tomorrow morning IF, here I come. Wish me luck!
I think the scale validation is ingrained in all of us and one of those things that is rediculous. So hard to change those things that have been a part of our lives for so long. I really am paying attention to your plan as I think it's so smart!
This is such a great video from you and I was so excited to watch. I hope your analytics do well on this so you will continue making them! Great job!!!
This is great! Gaining strength and energy is my goal too. I have my moments where I get focused on my size/shape but I really want to just feel good and be in control of myself. You look amazing! And also I would never have guessed you were 45! I would have said late 30s.
You are very inspirational and motivating. I started IF a little over a week ago and I was still not sure before watching this video, but now I’m full speed ahead. Thank you!
I use a cross body purse and carry my phone in it and it tracks all the steps. You can't believe how many steps you take just walking from room to room. Of course the walks outside are the best. I like capri's, even being short, they are so comfortable. I think you are doing an amazing job. Keep walking even if it's only a mile or two, it will make you feel better.
I’m so excited for you! Whole foods, more movement, and lots of water has helped me lose 39 lbs. Being healthy is the goal! I love your attitude! I bought an Apple Watch for my weight loss goals and I just absolutely love it. (And I didn’t think I was a watch person)
You are doing great! Next step….keep the kids healthy too. Purchase no more pre-made snacks. Keep a fruit bowl with fruit you know they actually eat for unrestricted nibbles.
Well done, Erica! Intermittent fasting is really the way to go! Check out Jason Fung's videos and "Six miles to supper" on UA-cam. You will be greatly encouraged. I started with IF 18:6 from Jan. to April and lost some weight and inches, but like you, didn't want to measure. I didn't even want to weigh. In early April, I switched to one meal a day (OMAD) and kept walking for about 50 minutes per day, and found out it wasn't that hard to do. Ialso started to weigh myself regularly ( but not every day) and measure myself. I am still doing OMAD + walking and have lost about 18 lbs since I started IF in January. It is slow, but I enjoy the results. Avoiding setting too big a goal is key. It will be a long process, and that is perfectly fine. Don't worry about the scale not budging: it never does in a constant even way (not a linear pattern.) Eventually, the scale will show your weight loss. I got stuck at the same weight for a whole month before seing my weight drop 3 days in a row. Keep at it!
Love, love, LOVE this video! It’s so nice and motivating hearing your journey. You’re so relatable. As a mom of young kids I feel more inspired to do the intermittent fasting just to give me more energy and feel better! Thank you!
My day job is an obesity medicine doctor. If you were napping post lunch most days particularly after a meal high in refined carbohydrate (pasta, bread or sugar heavy), then yes, you were likely hyperinsulinemic and developing insulin resistant/pre-diabetes. Very good on you for finding your way out. It very hard to to do. Keep an eye on the differences between what you normally eat and what noom serves you, since what we eat plays a very large role in attaining and maintaining weight loss (in addition to IF and exercise) in hyperinsulinemic patients. Good luck!
I have been wearing a slimmer model fitbit for years after I was recovering from planters fasciitis and wanted to get ore active. It's just like wearing a watch, not heavy at all! Highly recommended (and lets me know about my sleep cycle too).
When you fuel your body with healthy clean food your energy level will be through the roof. As far as the scale not moving it will change. Inches always come first….
I'm so glad you're figuring out what works for you and your body! I've been doing intermittent fasting for about a year now. I usually eat my first meal around 11:00 or noon and my second meal around 5:00 or 6:00. For my body eating two large meals within a 6 hour window feels better than trying to eat 3 smaller meals. I actually started intermittent fasting because I have heart health problems and even the most gentle and short walks will drain my energy for the day especially if it's hot and humid out which is like six months of the year where I live.
I enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for sharing, its very motivating. I was dropping weight by walking and using my bowflex. My dad was in a horrible accident, not at fault 19 yo hit him while he was out on his Harley. I held his hand as much as possible for about a month and finally left him in God's hands who took him to heaven Dec. 22, 2021. Anyway, this left me with so much brokenness and depression. I can slightly feel myself being a tad bit more interested in getting back to life. Your video is very inspiring and I appreciate the time you took to post your journey! God bless!
A.) get a watch to track your steps, I tried with my phone and found it was grossly off. by A LOT. Think about it, do you have your phone on you 24/7? B.) I'm really proud of you. C.) Thinking ahead, a lot of fasters eventually go low carb. Don't worry about it now, but down the road if you stall, it's an easy step to start cutting out processed carbs, etc.
Hi Erica, thank you for sharing your health journey. Last year was super rough on my health with a significant weight gain due to stress and at home snacks associated with staying mostly in or near our urban home with kids full time plus two adults with full time jobs at home. Your determination and incremental changes are inspiring and great reminders. Thanks for the inspiration to start where I’m at today.
I can identify with you, Olivia. Working from home on a computer which is situated in the kitchen!! I, too, am so inspired by Erika's journey...just the fact that it IS a journey! I'm starting also.
I was also in my late 30s when I had my children (4 & 6) now. You’ve verbalized this feeling I’ve been touching the edge of for a while. I’m on track for a shortened lifespan based on my current health and habits. I want to be here as long as possible for them and maybe more importantly, I don’t want to be a burden to them. I can already feel my body breaking down under the weight. Pains I shouldn’t have at my age and low energy are signs of things go come. Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s so helpful to me. ❤️
I’m so happy for you, Erica! I’m a mom in her 40’s with a young son. I can relate to your motivation to live a long, healthy life to be around for your kids. I’m on this journey with you. Once again, your willingness to be vulnerable on here is inspiring! I loved, loved your new outfit. Your excitement was awesome! Can you share your smoothie recipes in a future video? Mine always taste foul. LOL!
About the weight. Let me explain why the scale takes a while to kick in… your skin has expanded and gravity on that skin makes the weight hard to come off. Imagine a leather bag at 10kg, when you put a lot of load into it and then suddenly remove it. The weight of the leather increases even if the leather is as empty as before. However after a while, the leather shrinks back when there is nothing weighing on it and then!!!! The scale number starts coming down.
You're doing so well! You've inspired me. And honestly, I don't know many men who like capris, lol. Good thing I'm the one wearing capris and not them! 😆
Hi I have been going 80 days . Was too sick fat to walk Thanxs for inspiration I need to add walking ! Lost around 5kg walking 2000 3000 daily thanks ready to move forward with walking ! Yes 16/8 ! I need chart ! Yes amazing energy ! Good on u. Yes I hear u lots of things I can do now total 12 kilo but intermittent fasting is now a way of life! Starting to enjoy life again. I check out more videos thanxs again
You are so motivating to me because you are keeping it real and simple!! Thank you for these videos. You’re doing a great job and I know you will continue! You are awesome, thanks for sharing this 😘🤗💕
I would weigh myself everyday and get very frustrated, I stopped that bc our weight does fluctuate and that's ok and normal. So now I weigh myself once a week on Fridays and that's it. When it's that time of the month forget about i don't even step on the scale lol the best feeling is when your clothes are getting to big and you need a smaller size!! I'm still trying to start my journey lol Keep up the good work Erica bc you are an inspiration to us!
Keep going girl!! You're doing great!! I have a friend basically the same size as you. It took her 2 years to lose 60 lbs with the fasting. Medications are lowered. Love the fact You're enjoying better health and that's the important thing!!
You totally got this girl!!! I use a Fitbit. I thought it would bother me ( especially with how dirty I get on the farm, but it is very light. It also says your heart rate and how many calories you burned as well as if how many minutes your heart rate was elevated.
Such a motivating video!! I am also a slave to the number on the scale! But, wearing smaller clothes has to help when the number doesn’t budge! You go girl!
Wow Erica, good on you, this is so exciting! So great you have found a way that is motivating for you, I'm all for chipping away at it too, great tips and very inspiring. Thanks from Aussie
I probably weight no more than 120 lbs (5'4-5'5 height) and I have to tell you even I do not feel comfortable standing on a scale or measuring myself. I know I am in a healthy weight range but I get really fixated on the numbers. I have a very unhealthy brain that wants me to be an even 100 lbs which is underweight for my height, so when I realized I was making unhealthy choices I decided to stop weighing myself. It definitely helped to boost my comfidence. I think the mirror and before/after shots is the best way to judge how you look and if you are happy with the progress. Now enough about me, on to you. Congratulations on your progress! I think it is really great that you have set very specific goals and are keeping to it. My mom has been doing weight watchers and tries to do a 3 mile walk every day (20 minutes per mile approx) and she has lost about 100 lbs. Its a slow process obviously but well worth it. She looks incredible and is so proud of her progress and being able to keep the weight off. I'm trying to get her to do intermittent fasting because when we did it previously for a month she had lost like 6 lbs and that was really good considering she is nearing the end of her weight loss journey and is now in more of a maintence period. Her biggest struggle right now is that she eats when she is bored so hopefully i can convince her to watch your videos to get inspiration to take the plunge and make intermittent fasting part of her daily routine.
I've watched many diet videos over the years and tried some diets myself, I just want to say I'm happy you found intermittent fasting and that your video was one of the most genuine, casual, down to earth and informative diet videos on youtube, thank you for that!
Great progress! I'm on my own journey this summer: recovering from a hysterectomy, trying IF, getting 10000 steps. It's so empowering to have a plan and some goals! I'm glad we are both feeling great! So exciting!
7 lbs and 2 sizes down is amazing!!! Very inspiring. I'm going to start my fasting for the month of May, as it's May 2nd today, it's a perfect timing. I love your hair, by the way. So feminine!
When I was losing weight I bought my smaller sizes at the Thrift store. That way I didn’t feel bad when I dropped another size and needed to donate those clothes and buy a smaller size. The prize for reaching my goal was a wardrobe of NEW clothes. You’re doing great!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💝
What a great idea! Especially donating the larger size back to the store.
I was always able to find more expensive brands than I would allow myself to buy in a retail store! Consignment stores are great too.
Good idea .

Good to know!
Yes was coming to say this 👏👏👏👏 100 lbs of muscle and fat weigh the same- BUT the difference is fat takes up way more space than muscle
I am in aww, its so nice to see a REAL life experience and not just before and after pics. I am currently 90 something kgs and im hoping to be around 65kgs - 75kgs for my wedding. I will be starting IF soon! with weekend 10000 step walks. Wish me luck!!!

Have you watch Dr berg?
For adding steps, I find parking at the way farthest spot when running errands really adds up. Also mowing the lawn is a 10,000 step day for me.
I am proud of you for taking the first steps!!
Don't Hurry you will have loose skin if you lose to fast be patient, what you are doing is fine, keep up the good work.
Loved this video. Isn’t it amazing how we can focus on other important things such as health, family and friends when our stuff and excess isn’t weighing us done? One of the many benefits from minimalism.
Hi I just seen your video and yes intermittenfasting works 👍🏻👍🏻I’m 71.8 years young I lost 60 pounds 😊🤗 good Job 👍🏻👍🏻
Your journey is so realistic and doable- keep at it!
Great info!
Is it better to walk slow or fast for weight loss?
@@electricescape1190just walk normally at a medium pace and you’ll be ok.
I have historically hated stretching but a friend got me into "yin yoga" which is slow pace, holding a pose for several minutes and I started to really like it. Now I stretch almost every day using some of my favorite yin yoga poses and it feels amazingggggg. I actually look forward to it!
Jumping on your 100 walks today!! Latching onto this mantra I heard some years ago, “In consistency lies the power.” 💪🏼🤩🎉
You can do this!
So happy for you. Weight loss starts in the head.
Thank you!
With the walking you are building up muscles, that might be why the scale is not moving south as much. 😀
that is so right
So true!!!
The only time I step on a scale is when I go to the doctor and they feel that I have to be weighed. I go strictly on how my clothes fit.
Erica basically confirming that moms need a vacation after vacation
me too
This is such great video! I think we all struggle with our internal bully, it’s great to know we are not alone
Congratulations! Great job!
I started w the 16/8 then moved to
18/6 and now I’m pretty comfortable with a 20/4 🎉 I’m losing weight, feel great and like you have tons of energy.
Bravo Erica, I love the mental journey too
I do intermittent fasting for my type 2 diabetes (along with keto) I've lost 28 lbs since beginning of Feb.
@@lorriewittig9066 I think the keto really helped with lowering my A1C. So that's another component
@@joditripp7003 that's amazing!
I'm going more slowly with the weight loss because I am down to the last 10 to loose and that takes forever
Woohoo! That A1C number is the bomb! Way to go!
Erica this is a wonderful talk from you. Remember your body is ALWAYS burning fuel, whether it is from you the food you put in your face or your own body fat. This is why fasting is so beneficial. This is what our fat is there for, or we would die in the night.
Way to go girl! I am always trying to lose weight and it can be so defeating. You give great encouragement.
This is so wholesome. I have a much smaller weight loss goal but seeing you rejoice in the small improvements just very motivating!
In a wold full of fake people, you are such a breath of fresh air. I’m so happy for you and your new healthy lifestyle! You are doing so great!
I really like that top when you were putting on the size 16s
I also liked the happy dance 💃🏻
You got this!!!!
@@EmmaAppleBerry thank you!!
Good luck on yours too. 🌸
Good luck!
Erica, you've got a plan! Success is on your side! 💟
i really love the way you are sharing your journey with us Erica!!!
You’re doing awesome! Love your positivity! ❤️
Good for you!!! Just like with decluttering our homes, we have to find what works for us as individuals when it comes to health. The numbers don't matter. Your goal is to have more energy and to feel healthier. You're achieving that goal. Yay you!!!
I’m so proud of you Erica!!!
Thanks Megan!
You go girl! We’re rooting for you. Keep up the great work
I felt your joy trying on your side 16 pants, and I can so relate to the lack of energy. I am on day 3. You have inspired me so much.
My suggestion is to alternate long walking days with yoga or stretching days. Grats on the great progress and you look fantastic!
Intermittent fasting worked wonders for me in my late 20's. Now i am 34 years and I am going to give It another go. ❤ Thanks for sharing Erica.
At 5:35, girl I can SEE the difference!!! Great job!!!!
Thank you!!
Tomorrow morning IF, here I come.
Thank you!
Thanks for pointing out the sizes dropping not the weight as much- I’ve been doing 16:8 I f , only dropped 3 lbs, but a size smaller in 2 weeks
Wow!!! Thank you sooo much for sharing! Out of all the videos I’ve seen on fasting, I connected with you more! ❤️🔥
You are doing great!
Next step….keep the kids healthy too. Purchase no more pre-made snacks. Keep a fruit bowl with fruit you know they actually eat for unrestricted nibbles.
I said that some videos ago. Make it a family goal. Also, more vegetables, grains and fruits will provide better energy than processed food.
My kids eat so much better than me 😂

Good luck!
Thank you for your honesty and inspiration!!!!!! I am 42 and my children are 9 and 6 and i want to be here for them.
I am so glad you watched today!
Congrats and way to go! Also, the white shirt you are wearing is so so so cute!!!!!
Thank you for being real. Congratulations on your success!
LOL!
I will write a blog post soon about that! Send me an email and I will email you a link to the post.
Good for you. I am happy you are feeling so much better, and your skin looks radiant as well.
Soooo impressed! I’m moving with you!💃🏼
You are so motivating to me because you are keeping it real and simple!!
Wow you're so INSPIRING!!! So happy for you and your journey. I'm going to start fasting and walking. All Thanks to you 😊
7:02 that’s the prettiest outfit you’ve ever shown us. (And the Capri length is great on you.)
Erica you are very inspiring and real. Love your videos keep up the good work you look great
Thank you for being here.
Thanks for this video! I’m at 26 walks and trying to keep it up but the scale is not budging. So glad for the reminder! Keep it up girl!!!!!!
Maybe you’re eating too much on your eating hour window.
You’re doing an awesome job, and inspiring so many people!
🎉🎉❤ congrats❤🎉🎉 to your new mindset , your new energy and your new evolving body!!
