Hey man, I’m the owner of the M5. Do you still have the secondary cats on the car? Also the drone is not too terrible on my car, but I’m thinking that could be cause the cats are still on it. But if I were to get rid of it I’d probably put the resonator back on.
Also, before I got the exhaust done i actually watched one of your videos to see how it would sound. And I definitely was sure I Was gonna get this done!

I truly loved the way it sounded without the resonator but after a while the drone just got to me, but I was also driving it a ton at that time. I could feel differently about it today and maybe wouldn’t mind it as much. When I add the RPI mufflers I may remove the secondaries if the mufflers make it too quiet. By the way that launch was sick!! Enjoy it man, gorgeous car. Always loved a clean black LCI
the V10s are so cool i love M cars but i like the gen after that with the twin turbo V8 4.4L ive raced 2 in my 5.0 a stock one that got gapped and a tuned and DP M5 and i got beat pretty good
V10s sound just like souped-up v6s. And there's nothing wrong with that I love the sounds of 4,6 and 8 cylinders. V8s are my favorites but V10s sound amazing
Idk why people like the sound of this v10 sure it has the most unique sounds out of the bunch (CGT, LFA, S6, huracan, Gallardo, r8…) but unique isn’t good in this scenario 😂 in my opinion 🤣🤣
Under load, accelerating it sounds decent. Free revving sounds like ass. I only say this bc i know how it would really sound with a proper exhaust made specifically for that V10. Its one of the best sounding engines ever made.
i definitely think they revved it pretty high in this one.. especially given that the car is about to fall apart at any moment with that v10 reliability
what year IS THIS ONE?? will the years sound the same? 2006-2010 v10?? These cars have no business sounding this good. I am considering buying one of these e60s in manual just to hear that v10 HOWL

It sounds nothing like a 4 cylinder, and the reason it’s high pitched is because it’s an Even firing V10

The S85 is one of the greatest engines ever built. Maintenance nightmare, but you get a formula 1 inspired v10. Sounds like heaven

Service items every 100k km are rod bearings, just check main bearings too and the throttle actuators. Some electrical/electronic issues as well.

Far from it. Just hit 150k on mine, majority original parts. Being a responsible owner is key.
