So over the weekend I made a patriotic gnome for my front door but I needed a "topper" for it. I am the WORST bow maker and gave up years ago. Love, love, love all of these projects. We have had a big cookout and fireworks show at our house for 8 years bringing neighbors, friends and family together to celebrate the wonder of America on its birthday. Thanks to co-vid, we couldn’t celebrate like that in 2020 but this year’s party will make up for it. Thanks to ideas such as yours, our 4th of July party will have all the elements - great food, fireworks lighting up the sky and beautiful farmhouse decor honoring our great country and the people who made it great. You wear so many hats and just kill em all, Bc that mason jar is sooo freakin amazing! So glad I picked up a few! You rock Amber! I just can’t praise you enough! I’m so glad I didn’t buy the transparent paint 🤣when you showed your haul or DT shopping live! I sound repetitive but I just adore everything you do! @@themakersmap I've used the black and it covers with just one coat. No streaking. The white, I had to use several coats and it still didn't cover. I haven't tried any of the other colors yet. But I definitely like the black.

Welcome to YT!! If you do any wire work, you need some needle nose pliers. They have round barrels instead of flat ones. You can find them in the jewelry making sections most anywhere. Really loved all your projects!! TFS!⚘

I love all things patriotic, no matter what time of year (& yup, I have a tall flag pole in my front yard with my flag flying all year long). I am thrilled that you popped up in my feed today and will be stopping at DT to grab some of those straw for sure...and whatever else I might “need” for these projects. I’ve never been great at making bows but have a good friend who is. We lovingly call her our “bow bi**h”....lol...and she wears that monicker proudly. Basically because I didn't know what the heck it was or how to do it!! Lol. Now, I know and it's all thanks to you!! Haven't tried the DT paint, yet. I got a bottle of each color for back up when my stash ran out, this is when I couldn't find paint anywhere, during the pandemic. Now, I wish I hadn't! Lol. About the dollar store paint,I listened to another lady,she ended up useing this paint 4 times before it was right,they need to do much better w this paint. Very nice,wonderful !
