Way better than the so called updated MS 362 O feel like this saw is better because of the EPA standered on the modern one I am on a wildland hand crew and we're always having carburator problems on it there's just way too many moving parts in it too may linkages and stuff that gets stuck this is by far the better saw
I've had mine for the last 18 years. Runs awesome still here in Alaska.

about to buy a 361 in Mexico for my farm not sure about where those are built but they still sell em there for about 700 bucks
Love my 361, the last of the good Stihl 60cc class saws.
Used looks brand new to me looks looks like you got a steal on it
