Could you do a testing basics on shoes? Like brogue style shoes? I'm always stuck when I want to be smarter than trainers but it's too warm for boots and loafers or ballerina shoes aren't really my style so would love to see you review this type of shoe. Maybe you could include the dr martens shoes as well (the non-boot ones they do). Love seeing you talk about homeware and style as always!

Double sided sticky tape! That might get the piece out from behind the radiator. Attach it to the wire hanger or even make a kind of "fly swatter" shape to increase surface area and hopefully it will stick without you having to see. If you have a lint roller, that works too. I've found Muji's lint/carpet roller is one of the tackiest and can be repurposed, if you don't want to waste a roll of double sided tape.

maybe you can try recording with your phone with the flash on to see where it might be stuck if your phone fits underneath the window trim and then try again with the wire hanger but add something sticky to the bottom of the hook so it can grab hold of the necklace

Love everything from the haul and the shirt i think it suits you well (you could always inject some color with like a vintage neckerscarf like the ones from Hermes enz...) the chairs i would go for ones with fabric so they give the wired ones a cozier feel. That dinningtable WOW stunning

Have you tried adding a little tape to the top of the hanger? Maybe trying to reach it from the side openings on the radiator instead of from the top?

Have you tried hoovering the necklace out of its hiding place? Am definitely going to have to go to Redbrick Mill now - even if it's just to sit in all the fab chairs :) Love the &otherstories shirt - maybe some tortoiseshell hooped earrings would just add enough colour?
You should look into resizeable wooden shoe trees to try and stretch the brogues

I agree with you that the jeans are a bit short for winter, I've been having the same issues in stores. Everyone is still doing crops and if it isn't cropped it's really flared. That being said I think I like the look of straight legs on you more rather than the skinny. It's a better silhouette for you I think.
Also I would possibly go for an extra small in the navy jumper. It looks a bit bigger than oversized if that makes sense. Lol

have you tried using your phone to take pictures with flash behind the radiator and then use the hanger? Maybe make the hook a little smaller too so you can scoop the necklace out :)

Have you tried attaching a magnet to the base of the hanger? So it attaches to the jewellery and somewhat avoids the radiator?
I’m watching you fish for your necklace and depending on the type of metal it is, I keep wanting to yell “magnet”. Pure gold won’t be magnetic but a lot of gold pieces have iron or nickel in it, enough to “Stick”. You can get those retractable magnets, looks like a board Pointer a teacher might use, at a hardware store. Maybe you got it out,,,I’ll go back to watching,,,😌 PS. Dining table you bought is cool

Can you see the earring? Try blowing a hair drier down there, maybe it will fall out or get string or thin scarf, tie it to one end of the wire hook, feed both the hook and the scarf through the radiator until the scarf is sticking out the other end, you'll then have an end at the top and the bottom and then drag that too and fro. The earring should then fall out. If that fails you'll have to get a plumber out to take the radiator of the wall😂

Hi Lizzy: I'd just like to mention, that I appreciate your input as to where that you get your clothes and footwear on your vlogs. The Chelsea Boots from Church's are the most beautiful footwear that I've seen thus far and would love to get a pair from this company. The dollar difference between Britain and Canada is about $1.75 on the dollar. That puts their boots around $1033.00 Cdn. I'll have to do some serious saving to pay that much for the Chelsea boots that I desire. But first, I'm saving for my Nikon camera. Have a great day, Liz G

HI lizzy, I wanted to let you know you could try a magnet to get your ring... I think your local hardware store will be able to reccomend how to get it out with a magnet

Hi Lizzy, I have bought & other stories jeans based on your recommendation and loved them! I am thinking about purchasing a pair of rouje jeans next, but need some help as far as sizing. how do you compare rouje jeans vs & other stories jeans as far as sizing?
Are you able to recommend any alternative brogues like the churches ones but at a more affordable price? I absolutely love them for the more masculine work look however they are quite pricey!

It always depends on someone’s house! I know lots of people who want you take shoes off at the door. I’ve never lived in a shoes off house so keep them on out of habit - unless I’ve been walking through mud which doesn’t happen very often haha xx
