Yea it's fun for sure but that day when something a bit bigger or if there are snags then it would be under powered. I'm contemplating selling some spinning gear to get another BFS setup
Dang it I was gonna be the first to comment but nooooooo I had to watch the video through first before commenting 😆. Nice mullet man! Getting good use out of that castx and venom!!!
Yea I can always rely on some of those mullet in that area and they are fun to catch at that size. Small mouths though so harder to hook up. Thanks for watching. Full cast X review to be released same time next week :)
The wind and rain caused havic over here this last week too, but you managed to get a few before it got too bad. Nice Bream from the yak and a couple nice mullet from the shore. We have a couple spots down here and there are hundreds schooled together, but very picky when tring to catch.
Thanks Larry, yeah the general sentiment is that they are hard to catch on lure but I do quite well on mullet. I put it down to small profile plastics with either a #4 or #6 jighead.
I’ve only been kayak fishing for 25 years, but from my experience you don’t need a sounder to catch more fish. That’s what you have eyes and a brain for. Keep it simple and forget about the electronics.
Solid video with the editing too
Thanks, I'm trying to out do this one with my next
I keep talking myself out of a fishing kayak but you’re talking me back into it 😂😂
I'm trying to use mine more, really need to pick the weather though. If you got a peddle drive that would be good but then again you got a boat
Nice mullet! I love the action in that ultralight rod when there's a fish on.

Much better editing and thumbnail too. Well done
Much appreciated
that's awesome fishing
Thanks mate, hopefully this Thursday I will go upstream and it should be a better session with more favourable weather.
Awesome video 😀👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome spot 👌🏼
Yea pretty good fishing area from Trout to Bluefin Tuna. Only moved here about 18 months ago so still finding my feet fishing wise. Too many options
@@yep.fishing im the same where i am still finding good grounds.
Great videos mate 👏
Im just trying to limit my spots to learn them more, focus on one system at a time.
Quoting this to use in my next video 'if i have to become a better angler, i will have to put in the work'
Yea that's the truth. My problem is I have so many options here that I can't focus on one
"yep there we go" haha
Yea I know, said it twice haha
Nice mullet! Not easy to get them on lures so good job 👌🏼👌🏼
I think the key is going small, not a lot of people use #4 or smaller hooks but that's what I typically use. Good luck tomorrow
Good value in the Yak, endless possibilities.
Maybe fit a sounder to help catch more fish
Tight lines.......
Maybe in 2024 I will set up a sounder

@@mmmbass6068 yea I agree, also they kill your fishing time if you just want to launch quickly. Time on the water is the best method in my opinion
And dude it’s so crazy you catch mullet there. The locals here only use cast nets. They are in giant schools in Australia?
I see big schools of little ones like 4 or 5 inch ones in the Shallows. Not sure how many are schooled up when they are 12-15 inches
Where we Getting the 1" and 2" zman stuff?
Usually I find anaconda has 2" grubs but not BCF. In this case I bought both online from BCF as my local doesn't stock them.
