Did you say it is not possible to get the video clips from the memory card and play them back?

they do have wireless options but usually those are outdoor cameras
The barrel power port is a deal breaker. These cameras need to be micro usb or usb c. Thanks for the review. Helped me out.

My current TP-Link indoor camera that I have had for years has a 24 hour download of the video via the mobile app. Does this offer the same feature?

@@jacksonville4932Thank you- Yeah but the bullet and purchased them- Nice product. Better than Wyze and without the BS contracts they sucker you into after months of having them. Only thing I think I have to do is get new memory cards cuz out of 4 only one worked. They all worked w/ the Wyze cams….(BUT they also were Wyze products) - If the ONE didn’t work, I’d say it was the product (disk) but who knows. Hope the new ones work. They are all over 5 yrs old so that might be the problem. On reviews of these cameras some ppl were bitching that they can’t get them going.

In case you have a FireTV, yo can say: Alexa, show me the livingroom camera, an then, FireTv will switch betwen from your tv show to Tapo's view, only view and unidirectional audio. Even you can still watching your TV Show and still watching Tapo's Camera in a PIP mode.
Why is it that TAPO nor anybody says WHAT KIND OF SD CARD IS NEEDED aside from saying 256 GB ? There are MANY DIFFERENT 256 GB SD cards around ! WHAT EXACT CARD DOES

Actually it says micro sd card. I would get a sandisk as it is a reputable brand. Almost any brand should work

hmm, could be out of range from your router, or if your router is 5ghz only, you may need to enable 2.4ghz, or the security type of connection on router may need changed
What if I don’t have Wi-Fi at work! But have Wi-Fi at home!? Do I need to pay separate for Wi-Fi on my phone?
you can view the cameras from anywhere as long as you have the camera connected to wifi.
The camera will record without WiFi as far as I know. You can then play it back at home. I happen to have a brand new unopened camera so I’ll try it out using my phone only and without connecting the camera to WiFi. Great cameras though. I use them in bird boxes in my garden. I use TP link Deco mesh system for WiFi around my large garden. Superb.
