I my first D&D one-shot the party encountered a gnomish historian who was frustrated by his inability to gain access to an ancient elven ruin. His mood wasn't helped by the rash he'd developed due to an allergic reaction to the local flora. The druid used her Medicine skill and herbalism kit to treat him, while the rest of the party came up with a way to move the stone that was blocking the entrance. It was basically a humorous problem-solving encounter.
I used a shambling mound attacking a Minotaur, the Minotaur saw the paladin’s holy symbol and begged for help. The party determined neither was evil and proceeded to drive the shambling mound away and rescue the Minotaur. He in turn provided them with information they needed.
I can personally attest to how great all your event charts on Patreon are! I love them, they provide such good ideas. Also, I usually keep all my DM notes on a word document, including encounters. Last time I DM’d I found myself getting lost in all my screens and scrolling, and I said to myself, “I need to make one of those nifty binders Hannah has....” Sooo yeah. It will be forthcoming. Lol
I one time made a random counter where the party finds a fountain full of colorful liquid. If a player decides to drink from the fountain, thier character's voice would (temporarily) sound like a chipmunk.

Nice! Say, do you have any events for a urban game in that Binder of yours?
I do! I have urban events, marketplace sheets, secret societies, and my ebook NPCs for RPGs: Crime Bosses and Syndicates are specifically for a city!
