@@Acrylic_User also it’s not a soft lock, as it’s easily unlockable via restarting, and you aren’t losing much, since you only go back like 3 minutes at most

@Richard Gibson I count anything that you do that either you’re not supposed to be able to do, or that gets you stuck as “breaking it”, so the “soft lock” that you clarified isn’t actually a soft lock kinda counts as breaking it imo

one of the newest things about The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe is the game engine.
unlike the mod and the retail game, this is NOT on the Source Engine, this is on the Unity 3d engine and I gotta say they did a wonderful job making it look like it is still on the Source Engine.

My younger brother actually found a pretty major glitch with this game involving standing in door frames and closing them(I think don't remember for sure)

I watched a few videos of you and i loved it , I love glitches
looking at what the narrator says for the flow of time to work I assume that the button skips time by taking the amount of time it skipped before, multiplying it by 20, and adding 2 to the multiplier for every press. Which would put the ending at 12 octillion years explaining why the narrator doesn't show back up in the ending since he is almost undeniably brain dead by this point.
Of course that's an unbelievably long amount of time and there's no way to actually tell how big of a gap there is between skips but this unfathomably long period of time is the best I've got. And no I have no explanation as to how he didn't go brain dead by the ninth skip since that would be 85 million years of nothing and I'm not gonna try to explain it. Just look at the big number and say to yourself wow that is a very large number I'm very impressed by this UA-cam commenter's ability to look at numbers and use his time to make other numbers out of them what a life changing experience this is to behold thank you for showing me this beauty of numerical value.

Okay so spoilers for the lore and actual ending
The Timekeeper ends up not letting the Stanley Parable end. Because if it ends, _he_ ends. And so does Stanley, who, in the lore, is a sentient being created by the Narrator. It turns into a neverending loop basically, and every time you join the game, it's a "different" Stanley Parable that's just a number above but the exact same things.

I dont know if this works on consoles or not, but if you reload your game if you are in the first jump circle you will get unlimited jumps. I was able to get it on pc
