- Setting aside the fact that this one soundtrack quickly rose to become one of my favorite tracks of all time in the entirety of the Ryu Ga Gotoku/Yakuza series with how absolutely enchanting it is, this boss wastes no time in countering everything that comes his way, so for that particular reason, I chose the Jiu Jutsu fighting style which is well-versed in grabbing, as it's one of your best options here, other than that, countering or dodge countering also works if you nail down the timing. Again, this boss battle really shines in my eyes and that soundtrack is one big reason for it, it's just great. Try to lull your ears with it while watching this video, and if you want to look it up, it's called "So Unusual" by skankfunk.

Masumi was Tatsuya's former teacher when he was still in school. Bullied by the students, he ruthlessly trained to punish the deliquents who have dismissed his authority. Getting a chance to get back at Tatsuya, he challenges him to a fight. However Tatsuya triumphs and Masumi acknowledges Tatsuya's newfound strength and realizes that he was no better than Tatsuya. Despite winning, Tatsuya lets Masumi land a couple of punches on him to finally let go of his grudge and feelings of inferiority.

Upon playing the translated version and understanding more this fight, I felt a bit of tears, man. I'm fucking loving this game.
In live action mini series Tatsuya hair will be messy after fighting.
In game his hair still like Niskiyama's hair.
It would be neat, if they ever remaster it, to make Tatsuya's hair change the more he fights and the more damage he takes.
Naganuma sure knows how to make the best music for a dark game

Damn. Naganuma's style is something else. This is probably one of my new favourite tracks in the series 😮

Even on Normal difficulty he is still pretty difficult because of how easy it is to get countered by him
Like legit. I just started playinh the fully translated patch of this game and last night I stumbled upon this boss which cost me every single Staminan X of mine and spending about 30+ minutes since I kept losing.
(I'm playing on mobile using the on screen controller since my current ps4 controller is broken and I'm just about to buy a new one)
@@hatsunemiku2065 Same here, I started playing the English patch in Android and stumbled against Tomoki until I got My pride hurt with the advise to change to easy difficult lol.

@@rdx9322 u have no idea lol. I just finished the main story of the game and tbh Yuki is the only boss I struggled to fight with.
As for the random fights, those fcking guys who use Bajiquan and other fighting styles with a large window for countering is annoying asf
@@rdx9322 btw be careful with Taizan and Hyuga 2nd fight. These mfs are also hard asf on 1st playthrough Hard mode.
@@hatsunemiku2065Lmao I also finished the game pretty recently now I'm doing a bit of the extra content where I can replay the boss fights.
I wanted to beat them with their own styles but Hyuga is a bit of a pain to deal with having to learn when to use certain attacks. A cool thing I've learnt though is that backwards punch is a confirm into a grab.

Dude same here. After the fully translated patch of this game released on august 15, I started playing this game and last night I just fought this boss and he literally gave me hell. He parries like crazy.

Believe it or not, this "washed up pe teacher" can really destroy you if you're not careful enough, he counters like there's no tomorrow!

Always stamina and attack. Getting exhausted after 2 dodges is stupid.
