Marley's invasion rages on, Armin and Mikasa battle the Cart Titan, and Jean and Connie desperately hold off Reiner from stopping Eren. But when Eren approaches Zeke, Gabi fires a shot that blows Eren's head off. Miraculously, Eren's head was launched in Zeke's direction which allowed him to catch it, but what if it wasn't. How does the rest of Marley's invasion play out following Eren's demise?

Zeke reaches for Eren's head, he stretches out an arm, he strains to stretch every last muscle as his fingertip inches closer.
"Almost there.... Almost..."
Gabi drags the head a few inches away

Here's an interesting what if story: What if Levi's 30 soldiers didn't drink the wine and sided with the Alliance?
Probably would have gone the same way like in this video.
Zeke would of been recaptured and probably killed by Levi for trying to escape.
Eren would of been killed at Shinganshina because Zeke wouldn’t of arrived to tip the scales in Paradis favour.
Whether or not Marley managed to get control of the Founding Titan by killing Eren, the Global Alliance would of still come and scorched Paradis anyway.
@@thegrandpotato6014 I'm not so sure about that. We know that Hange was taking Floch and a few Yeagerists to where Zeke was being held, so they'd still be there. During the commotion, it's not impossible to say a few scouts secretly drank the wine. Zeke would expose this by screaming and turning them into titans. He'd used the distraction to escape, with Floch and the others staying behind to hold off Levi and the others
Zeke could still make it to Shiganshina but this time only three Yeagerists were there to fight the Cart since they were sent to escort Zeke. The Cart would take them out and Zeke would have to multitask between fighting Pieck and supporting Eren.
Because of this, Porco and Reiner wouldn't be as hurt. As Eren attacks Porco's nape, Reiner comes in and stops him before he critically injures Porco.
Everything continues the same, but Reiner gets eaten by Falco since Porco was passed out/too injured to move. This is the tricky part.
Levi, Hange, and >30 soldiers team up with Magath, and Pieck, while Porco either goes with them or hides in Shiganshina. The plan goes the same.
Earlier in the Forrest, Levi manages to kill Floch and capture the remaining Yeagerists. He's somewhat injured, but not as bad as he was in the main timeline. This is harder to anticipate. Either the 30 soldiers stay behind to fight off the Yeagerists while the Alliance stops Eren, or they join. I'm not too sure

I feel like they will be well past the point for caring for Gaby’s safety and wouldn’t freak out after killing her as she has killed two of their closest friends and effectively ruined the chances of them winning
I feel like when armin hears that Eren is dead he would probably race to pieck riener and Magath and go full collosal
I think the fact Gabi is a child will mess with them. Also by the time Armin learns Eren is dead, Pieck is long gone and Marley's airships are in full retreat.

To me originally I thought that if eren had lost his head instead of the centipede going for him instead the body would just reform either a hardened form of the attack titan or just a form to heal to then rejoin the fight but knowing all the info up to now that’s probably not possible
If Eren had the energy, he could've pulled a Reiner and transferred his consciousness to his eyeball and transformed anyways. But that skill is reserved for the plot-armor titan.

Unironically, no. But after the ending, I've seen jokes that Marley should've won as it would have stopped 139 from happening.
What if Grisha found and took Zeke to paradis with him
(This could happen either just after he gets the AT or just after Zeke gets the BT as both are interesting in different ways)
What if Eren and Zeke were both born in Marley (Zeke would still get the beast and Eren would either get the armoured of warhammer)

That and Gabi's horrible luck. Based on the angle Gabi shot Eren from, I don't know how Eren's head curved towards Zeke.

I genuinely don’t think Jean and Connie would “impulsively” kill Gabi
When Gabi kills Eren, Jean and Connie will understand she's doomed the entire island, plus this is the second close friend she killed. Neither Connie or Jean have any attachment to Gabi at this point either. Plus Jean stopped Floch from killing Gabi and she repaid the favor by killing Eren. I felt those factors combined with the intensity of the situation will cause either Jean or Connie to make a decision they'll regret.
@@thenenhunter2600 they understood their actions in going after Eren in the finale arguably doom the island. Connie went as far as to become the thing he hated most, a traitor, when he shot Daz and Thomas. I just genuinely don’t see it in their character to kill a child. Jean even missed Falco (arguably) because of this moral quandary. Jean even avoided throwing Gabi and Falco out the airship when Floch had them captive after she killed Sasha, so they have both been in the situation where Gabi killed one of their best friends, had the opportunity to kill her, and DIDNT
@@johngolles342 See I'm assuming both characters are acting irrationally and making a heat of the moment decision. We have a precedent for both making bad decisions then later regretting it when their in that position. Jean fired at Gabi in retaliation for her killing Sasha. If Falco had not shoved Gabi out of the way, she'd of died. A few seconds later. Jean wasn't willing to kill Gabi when Floch offered to toss her off the airship. Connie convinced himself that feeding Falco to his mom's titan was the correct decision impulsively but during the journey, but started hesitated when he had time to think while Falco was sleeping. Then later regretted even thinking that way once Armin tried to feed himself to Connie's mom. The point I'm making is the combination of the shock from Eren's death, the intensity of the situation, and the fact they may perceive Gabi as a threat after she killed Eren, could cause them to make a quick decision they'd regret. In the video, I mentioned them freaking out over what they did in the heat of the moment.
Also, when they went after Eren, they were trying to stop global genocide. Eren had already destroyed the global alliance's army and began devastating the mainland. Stopping Eren wouldn't have doomed them. By contrast, when Gabi kills Eren, Marley is currently invading the island and theirs the looming specter of the world launching their own attack as well. Gabi killing Eren instantly doomed them all.

He wouldn't have ever failed his training. He came in 5th, and the top 4 all had powers so its fair to say he wouldn't have flunked training.
He eventually finds out his powers and perhaps eventually understands what exactly it is. Mikasa and Armin would most likely stay with him, so Armin would propose they help the military, while Eren thinks they would never trust him. Perhaps he aims on escaping the walls and finding out what's in the basement. As long as they hide in the large Forrest they can make it. Even if they find out the secret though who knows how anyone would trust them

Honestly a very realistic take on the scenario.
The only way it could have gone different is if paradise discovers the founding titan baby. Though the odds of that are pretty bad. There are probably more Eldians living outside Paradise island than inside Paradise.
If they COULD find the founder then Floch will most probably initiate the rumbling and destroy the outside world.
Another interesting tid bit that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things is that, when Eren dies, his triple combined titan (attack, founder, warhammer) might be split up into 3 different babies. And it's also interesting to consider where these titans (and the beast titan) would have ended up. There are 4 titans in total just randomly spread among Eldian babies now. At least one of them would probably end up on Eldia, but the others might end up with Marley another nation who would gladly take a titan of their own.
What happens next is highly dependent on if Marley can obtain the founder or of it's somewhere else.
*If Marley doesn't have the founder then:*
Marley will demand to have the founder but it won't be handed over to them. They will surely fight a war to retrieve the founder, but with technology continuing to advance and the rest of the world being very not eager to hand over the founder another total war between Marely and the new global alliance might break out. The outcome of this will be completely up to speculation, though personally I doubt Marley could win it with how devastated they were from the entire war of Paradise and since this section is about Marley no getting the founder I'll go with that. By the time their military has recovered from that the rest of the world has surely invented their own airborne combat vehicles to deal with the titans and Marely's own airships and probably planes. It's also possible that no war will break out if Marely is not confident in their ability.
The world's remaining Eldians probably won't be exterminated seeing how there were humanitarian efforts in protecting them, but their living conditions probably will be far from ideal. Since enemy nations or anti-Eldian terrorists could always just poison water supplies with spinal fluid to cause random titan transformation all remaining Eldians would need to live on high security. Their freedom and reproductive rights restricted.With restricted reproduction I don't necessarily mean that they won't be allowed to breed or will be forcibly castrated, but more so that they aren't allowed to have children without permission.
The only hope for Eldians in that, perhaps in the far future, science will advanced to such a point that interaction with the paths is possible, and at that point the Titan curse could possibly be eliminated.
By the end you'd have a heavily policed Eldian population all throughout the world. The 9 titans will be spread over the wold, though most will be in Marley, either as elite soldiers or perhaps as people researching the paths. As technology progresses and titans become less and less useful in combat I'd assume more and more shifters will be used for titan research. But if that goes anywhere is unknown.
*If Marley has the founder then:*
They can't use it immediately. Their problem right now is that they need Historia's blood but they cannot trust her. Giving her access to the founder could cause any number of things to happen most of them not good for Marley. But they might need to if their situation gets too desperate. So, in order to prevent that, Marley officials will hide that they have the founding titan. They'll force Historia to give birth for most of her term until they have a small population of royal bloods. If they decide they need more time they can feed Historia (and the female titan) to a non-royal blood Eldian as an intermediary. Once they have a royal blooded candidate they think they can trust they'll begin the progress, giving the royal blood the female titan and bringing them in contact with a founder they trust to see what will happen. What happens after this is complete speculation and completely depends upon whether or not their trust in the female and founding titan holders was warranted.
All in all having the founder might not do so much for Marley in a military sense, at least not right away. It will take too long before they can use it and by that time technology would have progressed to the point that titans are obsolete. Though... Not 100% there is one very dark possibility...
If the rest of the world discovers that Marley has the founding titan and a royal blood they might be forced to cull their Eldian populations, as cruel as it may be. Because with the founding titan's power ANY Eldian ANYWHERE at ANYTIME can become a living weapon. Marley could conquer the entire world in one night by turning all foreign Eldians into titans and using the coordinated horde of them to demolish their armies before they have a chance at fighting back.
All in all Marley having the founder would be a horrible scenario.
I agree with your analysis. I'll add that if Marley has the founder, culling the population of Eldians won't help with anything. Marley would have control over the thousands of colossals within the walls of Paradis. Unless technology has already advanced to the point where the colossals were already destroyed, Marley would use the threat of a rumbling to force the other nations into submission.

-what if Zeke didn’t Expose the location of the Eldian restorationist to the Marley officers?
He would have been sent to Paradis with everyone else. Grisha could still be the last one to survive and have Eren, but could also be super depressed because he lost his wife and son. If he does have Eren, everything would change. He'd have no way to access the Founder, and never do the Rumbling, unless he did it with Historia which is iffy.
The Beast Titan would go to one of the Warriors, either Reiner or Porci, with Porco's beast probably being a Lion because that's what his Jaw form looks like. Because of this, the Battle for the basement would be very different, since no one can summon pure titans. Connie's village would be safe too, so idk.
Erwin would probably live, and come up with a way for the Island to be prepared for whatever the world throws at them

He took part in it, he didn't have a choice really as he's a warrior Marley depends on, especially with the loss of the Jaw Titan.

@@HadeTheReal I don't think that's Reiner's personality. He didn't seem to hold a grudge when Bertholdt was killed by Armin. I think his regret and sadness over Paradis being destroyed + Falco, Gabi, and Porco dying would overcome any anger he'd feel

But He'd probably have No will to keep going without his anger. But he'd most likely just want to end everyone's suffering and would put the scouts "Out of Their misery" by killing them . Bertholdts case was different as Reiner didn't see Them kill bertholdt And I feel like he cared about Gabi more than his fellow warriors though he Did care for bertholdt and Porco. like he'd have a Rage moment as Reiner does feel anger just like anyone so the Angry vengeful Reiner could make sense in that context. He'd be At his mental worse and would probably end his own Life after. And May kill Floch for Eating Falco As unlike Bertholdt, Falco did nothing to deserve to be killed. I think With Bertholdt Reiner felt like him, Annie and himself all deserved death. So he could except Bertholdt's a little easier.

Here's a suggestion: What if Gabi was the one who got hit by a wine bottle?
Have to wonder how Armin and Mikasa feel about their whining and coddling of this Marlian devil back at the restaurant, still feel all wholesome and virtuous you two? On the flip side, given that it seems Mikasa gets a timeline redo with what happened at the Cabin, in the next timeline when they get to the restaurant she'll remember what Gabi did and pin her down on the table for Kaya to carve like a turkey.

I feel like the global alliance would shatter immiedietely after the founding titan is lost. As far as i know, only marley has the bitter hatred for eldians. The rest of the nations just feared the founding titan destroying the world. After eren is dead, i imagine there would be a few years of buildup then marley would invade the island by themselves. The rest of the nations wouldnt really care since paradis isnt that rich an island and marley now has even the founding titan so theyre stronger than ever.
Their invasion would also play out very differently to the rushed up operation to sieze the founding titan. With no time constraints they could mass artillery outside the walls and shoot shells over them. This would avoid urban combat which the eldians are best at. They would only assault cities after they were turned to corpse filled rubble. Aside from some titan based shenanigans like armin sneaking in to transform near marleyan armies, the marley invasion wouldnt be too difficult for them at all.
If I’m remembering correctly, the reason Wily sacrificed himself was to turn the world against Paradis. Every nation has their diplomats killed by Paradis forces. And we know other nations treat their Eldians worse than Marley. I felt those two factors would keep the global alliance together long enough for the invasion to start. I agree with your assessment on how Marley would win fare alone vs Paradis.

From what I remember, the only multiple part AOT what if you've completed was What if Marcel Survived. Also, after this, what do you think will be your next video?
I graduated a few months ago and I'm working full-time now. I'm gonna finish all my ongoing what ifs but I wanted to throw some shorter scenarios into the mix for the sake of variety. Lastly, I can't say what will be my next video, I like keeping that a surprise.
