Tony... i appreciate 🙏 your dedication & enthusiasm on this pivotal and fantastic review. All those helmets are great choices. I think the ls2 carbon vector is a great runner-up. 👍
Shame you couldnt get the i71 for this comparison. Would have been interesting if it can improve on the Comfort and feature scores compared to the i70.
HJC C10 review in the works? Really interested as it seems to be about the best all round and cheaper of the budget helmets. Would also like to see a test of how much heat you can keep in the helmets with closed vents for cold weather riding.. And maybe water-resistance? (or likelyhood of getting wet head in a shower / downpour) Great reviews BTW
When I saw the I70 being tested in this video I was interested to see how it compared to the rest of the helmets. I've been using the I70 for a year now and it's very very noisy. I always have to wear earplugs or my ears will hurt during and after the ride. It has no ventilation at all from my experience. It is quite heavy also (XL size) but comfortable enough. To be fair I ride a naked bike, so that should be the reason for the noise in my case. No idea about the ventilation though. I always ride it with it closed because I found it only fills up the interior with insects with no air current at all. And I almost forgot, my sun visor mechanism broke months ago and I have to manually pull the visor to use it. Also, why didn't you compare the I71? This model has 22.06 homologation already. Thanks for the review!
I had the exact same question Apparently they didn't have that one to review and it'll be released on a video comparison next month along side other new helmets
Really nice videos, but i would like if in Visors and Features, you would list them and not only give the final rating since not everyone has the same preferences. For example a sun visor is mandatory for me (and i don't want an extra smoked visor) but i have to go check one by one since the video has that aggregated with the other stuff. Same with Features i would like to know exactly what heach helmet offers.
@dmzsniper I tried the LS2 challenger carbon and the vector 2 I gotta say that despite the 6 shell sizes it is absolutely super massive it's bonkers and I look like an astronaut biker I don't know how they thought that was cool everyone I know likes compact helmets ... Another thing is me being bold the lines is absolutely horrible and scratchy... It feels really cheap and so I went and bought a skwal i3 today as it's miles and miles more compact and comfortable despite only having 2 shell sizes maybe shark french people are magicians 😂
The 71 is newer and more expensive, it's out of my budget. I have the chance to get the RPHA70 and the RS for the same price, but still not sure which to choose...
The Scorpion EXO 1400 got a score of 8.0, but your review of the Scorpion EXO 1400 Air from 2 years ago gave it a score of 6.75. Is that because your scoring methodology has changed in the last two years? Or is it because the Scorpion 1400 has improved since the earlier review?
Might be a mistake but the Scorpion EXO-1400 EVO scores 5 stars for weight in the star rating section despite being more than 1400g and heavier than the AGV K1-S.
You should test Noise Insulation and Ventilation also on bikes without such a high mount motorcycle visor as on testing bike, because bottom/jaw ventilations are blocked and sound insulation is tested only through upper part of the helmet 👍
I agree, but they need to do all this test again though to compare under same circunstancies all the helmets.... it's a lot of work, but once more, I agree, haha!
agv corsa, X line 803, nexx x r3r, hjc rpah1, GT-Air II, shoei NXR2, agv k5 Hello, is there a chance for a response or maybe a test of helmets from a slightly higher shelf? I need a helmet for a sports motorcycle and I am hesitant about which model would be the best. I'm looking for the best ventilation, noise reduction, it would be nice to have a visor but it's not necessary, and a great option would be a sporty, aerodynamic shape with spoilers
They already made that review it's the best race helmets of 2023 mate and I already know which one is best, the Shoei X spr pro nothing beats it best In class.
The normal pinlock is a little bit smaller and doesn't cover the whole visor. The maxvision, however, will cover the whole visor. Source: Pinlock own video ua-cam.com/video/6vF0BEJ6zBA/v-deo.html

A Caberg helmet should definitely be in this review. Very good prices and safety ratings

I absolutely loveeeeeee these review comparison videos!

I never see better helmet test video. Just great.

Thanks for the review!
how can it let in bugs but not air? thats literally impossible lol
Really thoughtful scoring system, really insightful thoughts on the entire journey, thanks!
Could you test ride the LS2 Storm? I would love to know how noisy it is in relation with the other helmets! Thanks! 🙌
Amazing detailed reviews!
On features there are 2 mistakes Spartan rs and skwal i3 are indeed 22.06 certified therefore deserved also 3 stars
Why didn't you review the HJC i71 instead of the i70?
I had the exact same question Apparently they didn't have that one to review and it'll be released on a video comparison next month along side other new helmets

Have yall ever tested the HJC I10?
AWESOME VIDEO AMAZING FANTASTIC
Thought the LS2 challenger carbon would be here. Trying to decide between that or the EXO 1400 Evo Carbon.
We will take it in our next guide that we are expecting in 1 month from now. So make sure you're subscribed.

@@marcoaguiar3226 Cool thanks. Definitely don't want to look like a bobble head.
Looking to buy new helmet..i think I'll go with scorpion exo 1400 carbon..price is really close to LS2 but it looks like better helmet
Between RPHA 70 and SHARK SPARTAN RS which one should I choose? (considering same price)
RPHA-71 if you have the budget for it. It is an overall better helmet, Shark is more budget friendly and still gives you good value for money.
The 71 is newer and more expensive, it's out of my budget. I have the chance to get the RPHA70 and the RS for the same price, but still not sure which to choose...
@@41ex4ndr0 My advice would be the rpha 70. But it depends from person to person.
Which of these helmets is ECE2206 certified?
Pretty sure all of these helmets are 22.06
Check 3:37
Spartan RS is amazing! Better from my old 1400 EXO :)

Now it’s the Evo model, that’s a new generation

1- SCORPION EXO-1400 EVO
2- LS2 VECTOR 2 CARBON
3- NOLAN N80-8
4- SHARK SPARTAN RS
5- SCORPION EXO-520 EVO
6- HJC I70
7- NOLAN N60-6
8- SHARK SKWAL I3
9- AGV K3
10- AGV K1-S

Yes test should be done on a naked bike

HJC i71 should be in this comparison, it’s an good improvement from i70
Do you have a clear overview of the individual features per helmet somewhere?
Do you have bundle deals for all the helmets in this top 10?
When are guys going to create a channel for the asian market? :)
What is the difference betweenness regular and a “advanced” visor mechanism?
Great video. Are all-black helmets warmer in the summer?
Yes a lot warmer there is a video on UA-cam with that .. look it up

Great review! Which helmet offers you the best field of vision?
What is the difference between a normal pinlock and a maxvision pinlock?
The normal pinlock is a little bit smaller and doesn't cover the whole visor. The maxvision, however, will cover the whole visor.

How do I know what my helmet size is?
Which helmet is most comfortable with glasses?
How do helmet manufacturers ensure that helmets are able to insulate sound so well?
Reviewing hjc i70 instead of i71 🥲🥲🥲
