@@AlexiusRedwood everyone in europe and asia is taught the history of their country and their neighbors. Its basically just the americas that dont know much about the world history. In the US, the only international history you will learn are the World Wars and a few other wars, and thats just because the US fought in them.

@@gurmeharsingh5228 A few decades of Northern Ireland (and parts of Ireland and the UK) being the terrorism hotspot of the world (most years at least). Effectively you had some terrorist groups who wanted N. Ireland to be part of the UK, and some who wanted it to be part of Ireland, and they all carried out a huge number of bombings, assassinations, torture etc. I believe the Taliban and Al Quaeda learned some of their tactics from watching what the IRA a similar groups did against the British military that was deployed there to try and keep the peace.
When I saw the guy dressed in bomb squad stuff walking towards the open van, with no one else in sight, with that kind of photo quality, and that architecture, it was immediately obvious that this was in Northern Ireland during the 70s/80s.

Bloody Sunday massacre, multiple assassinations, and were very much in bed with the UDF (one of said terrorist groups). Read up on the bloody sunday massacre of the 70s or the multiple kids shot by british soldiers.

In Norway we have 2 written languages, Bokmål and Nynorsk. Not only that, you can also see that the nature in both of the country are different.

The real key is look at the cars. I worked out oslo (norway) and the late 60s from the beetle and the squarish shape of the car in front of it

If we are talking about his knowledge then yes the American education system does not teach world geography very well. If we are talking about intelligence then there are many different forms of intelligence and i believe toast would rank higher in more categories than most of you.

It pains me to hear to lily say kodak was founded (they said invented) in the 1970-80s. They were founded almost 100 years before that, in 1888. They were the first company make taking photos accessable to the everyday joe back in 1900. They invented the Brownie camera. Their slogan was "you press the button, we do the rest" and it was a huge success commercially. for the first time ever everyone had access to their own personal camera. Before that, you had to go to hire a photographer to take any photos. Or you had to put a lot of money into it and learn about the craft of making a photo. There was a lot of chemistry involved. I don't blame her for not knowing any of this. I love photography and learned the history behind it
