  • @Wiers75q
    @Wiers75q Рік тому +12

    It is said that Cheng Lei's sentence was since she revealed to the media that "she expressed very positively and confidently: Australia and the United States must have mastered China's economic form and development." Therefore, she was concerned by the police. Anyone with common sense knows that if what she said is true, she must be suspected of economic espionage. The fundamental question is not how long she spent in jail, but whether she was suspected of espionage and to what extent. If it is a felony, 4 years is not enough.
    Let us image what will happen if this were the case in Australia, Germany or US or UK, if a foreigner says that her country has mastered the economic development of your country, Don't you suspect that some important information and data were leaked through her??!

    • @TWE_2000
      @TWE_2000 Рік тому +17

      Lmao what? So because she made a statement about the economy she's a spy. People in the US and Australia say stuff like that everyday and they don't get arrested. What a pathetic strawman argument

    • @Wiers75q
      @Wiers75q Рік тому

      @@TWE_2000 Didn't I mention the police investigation? Do you think espionage can be that easily punished without any evidence?
      When in US or Australia, when it punishes crimes, do any criminals claim that they are innocent or the police has violated their human rights? Would you believe the complaints of criminals?
      But why do not police go catch someone else?

    • @Wiers75q
      @Wiers75q Рік тому +3

      @Maxus Lorenzo This is from public report. As for the court evidence you mentioned, since it involves confidentiality, any country does not open the trial. How could I know it from the public media? I'm not a spy!
      " Relevant personnel immediately investigated Cheng Lei's account, and secretly monitored Cheng Lei's whereabouts and emails. Sure enough, evidence of her communication with foreign countries and financial transactions were found, and she was quickly arrested. Cheng Lei refused to admit it at first, but after the relevant departments listed the evidence, she could only plead guilty"
