I did not have any of those but I had strict parents. 2 of my dad's workers knew we did as we was told. They raped me when I was 12. They threatened me. Took me about 4 years to tell. Then in my late 30s raped by a cop. I did tell on him and he had raped another girl. All the head police people did was fire him and he could never be a cop again. They aren’t as blind to it, they are not likely to sweep it under the rug or give the benefit of the doubt in order to stay in a relationship with the accused. Their main concern is the safety of their grandchild above everything else. Grandparents save children so often, they deserve more credit.

He cannot tell me things like this, especially when he was younger. I had a friend who has an autistic son as well and she had been dating this guy for about a year. One night he was watching them while she went to the store and the boyfriend got so frustrated with her son, so he put hot sauce in his drink and made him drink it. She got home and he was vomiting everywhere because of it. as s special needs parent, you cannot assume everyone else will have the same love and patience that you have for your child. Especially when they are already so vulnerable and an easy target to a lot of people. I will stay single for the rest of my life if I have to. I refuse to put my child in danger, just to have a relationship.

We're going to the police, we're making a report, we're gathering evidence. And she already lost a child to child abuse, now she has her other child getting molested. Maybe she should take some time off dating, maybe learn to be alone for a little while.
