Greetings, Shaykh. I am a revert to Islam, coming from a Hindu background. I have listened to some of your lectures where you talk about meeting your family members in Paradise, and how Allah SWT will elevate the family members to the same level so everyone is happy. You also mentioned in one of your lectures that Paradise would not be complete without your family, but you did not explain what happens to the converts of Islam, who lose all their family members, father, mother and everyone dear to them in the Hereafter. How can I enjoy Paradise knowing that my mum and dad are in the Fire, while I am (inshallah) in Paradise? I have asked many people this question and they all say that Allah will remove the pain from my heart, but I find this answer too vague and unsatisfactory. Until now, you are the best Shaykh on this platform, I love your talks and you have helped me a lot. I respect you very much, brother, and I pay attention to everything you say and learn from it. I really want you to address this issue in detail. I have tried to persuade my mum to embrace Islam, but her idol worship is deeply ingrained in her soul - it is hard to believe. I make dua for her for Allah to guide her to the truth, but let us suppose that it does not happen and she never repents - we all know what will happen. Where does that leave me in Paradise? We will be able to see the dwellers of the Fire from Paradise. What if I see my mum in the Fire? How can I not feel pain? It does not make sense to me, I really REALLY need you to talk about this. I beg you to dedicate a whole lecture to us converts, because we have it hard, man. I lost my ENTIRE family when I accepted Islam. I have NOBODY!! I am alone since the moment I said my shahada, every single person I loved betrayed me. Please, I beg you to please talk about this topic. May Allah reward you Jamaal
SubhanAllah my brother, your story is incredibly moving and powerful, the amount of strength and guidance you must have needed Alhamdulliah, i appluad you greatly. May Allah bless you greatly, shower you with blessings and mercy and guidance for and your family. I am not completely sure whether he reads the comments, InshAllah he will see it but i believe there are also good muslim forums to read/post on such as islamqa. Best answer from my extremely limited knowledg is like you said to must make dua, consistently talk to your mother and break down her beliefs reasonably and gently if need be. Seriously just reading your comment is heartbreaking, may Allah reward all your efforts, bring you peace and reward your efforts immensly for your sacrifices
I can assure you the Sheikh reads the comments. I know him personally and will ask him to dedicate a full lecture on revert issues, inshaAllah. May Allah keep you steadfast, give hidayah to your family and raise your ranks, Amin.
@@JSoulKeys Salam brother. Your story makes the heart of any beleiver melt. But what a gift your fate has offered you, suffering such a loneliness for the sake of Allah Al Kareem. Yes it is a gift full with exceptional rewards, but your nature is human after all, it is normal that you long for sharing some aspects of your humanity with other human beings, even if you know, as i do, that the only true and best friend is Him 'azza wa jal. So all i can say is what i learned from my immense solitude experience, which is pray God to fill your heart with His love and His presence, keep asking Him from the bottom of your heart to never "leave you to yourself not even for the blink of an eye" ( to always lay his eyes upon you ). Pray that He answers your prayers, BEG Him. I am confident that like me, you will insha Allah end up feeling the presence of Allah so strongly that you will be grateful for the situation that led you to experience His presence in such a vivid way. At the same time, ask Allah to put good people on your way and not to leave you alone on this earth. KEEP asking. As to your parents, also keep praying for their guidance and PRAY FOR THEIR FORGIVING. We beleive that the prayer of a pious child for his parents interceeds in their favor on The Day of Judgement. Very important : if they don't want to see you, you yourself don't brake the relationship, it is forbidden by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Help them financially if needed and if you can. NEVER loose hope in them being guided, i heard convert stories of parents accepting the faith of their children a few months and even a few days before their death, on their bed, Allahu Akabar. Don't concentrate on the fear of what will happen to them in the hereafter, concentrate on your prayers for their seeing the Truth ( remember : prayers from the bottom of your heart AND WITH THE CONFIDENCE THAT THEY WILL BE ANSWERED ! ). Whatever you pray for, you must strongly beleive that you will be answered, and after each prayer thank Allah EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AS IF YOU WERE ALREADY ANSWERED. Sometimes people loose hope, because they forget that Allah KNOWS BEST. I prayed for something very important ( not an earthy aquisition, although we may pray for earthy, material aquisitions ) for years. At last i told Allah many times that i don't know but He knows why i am in this situation BUT i kept paraying....until something happened like a true miracle, in a never expected way SubhaanAllah. Indeed we don't know, He knows ! Without that miracle ? Never mind what happens, we always have faith in His mercy and in His wiseness. What i am convinced of, and which is not "again" one of those comments on a revert's thread : Brother you are blessed. Alhamdu liLlah. My sincere prayers for you🤲 ☝️
