When it did, it showed up with the infotaiment display non-tactile (due to materials shortage, it was a regular screen). This wasn't communicated to me until the day the car arrived and they offered a 1000€ discount, but I still declined it. I felt cheated when the car didn't show up with all its features when I waited 4 months for it to the built with the specific extras / color I wanted... Still I'm sure it's a great car, enjoy!
@@hyper_channel But in my BMW the display is a touchscreen (standard), although I personally do not prefer to put my fingers on it all the time and leave the display full of fingerprints. I prefer to use iDrive. Best wishes to you too for your new BMW and enjoy it ! PS: I can understand very well that it is very disappointing, after waiting so long for the new car and then maybe it doesn't come as one expected it, as one thought one had ordered it.
@@aris1956 Yeah the dealership also made that argument and in general I agree, is less about the feature itself and more about the lack of communication and the way the problem was handled by dealership / brand (they said they were not aware of this feature missing either until the last moment). The car was around €80K which for me is a lot money for it to no be perfect, and I felt the experience a bit tainted...
Rapidly becoming a favourite channel. Nothing at all to do with the fact that you're driving most of the cars I either like or, as in this case, own (well, M340i xDrive but near enough). Good to watch and somewhat amusing.
As a german native speaker: "Hochgeschwindigkeit machen" are existing german words but not in that combination. Acceleration means "Beschleunigung" ;) Great review by the way!
Ignore 100% the so called "haters" because what they say means absolutely NOTHING. Besides, they aren't buyers anyway. I think the car is beautiful, especially the rear wheel drive convertible. In the U.S., the front fender M Badges are missing. BMW doesn't give a reason, but they ignore consumer complaints anyway. I guess customer service isn't a priority.
I enjoyed the Texas BBQ reference Tim 👍🏻 Black on black, with shadow pack does indeed blend things in a little 👀 At least it has one good angle, unlike the 2 Series GC (which is really an F40 1series saloon) Anyway, there will be no grills at all on cars soon! Beschleunigung. Brilliant 😀 I’ve never heard a bad word spoken about that B58 engine. It’s quite a lump 👀 I think I spotted you in this one 🤓
Black shadow pack looks cool. I like it. Overall, car looks great. I wouldn’t comment great b58 and driving dynamics. Full pack car is great and I love that grill!!
Biggest problem for this car (apart from that grille) is that M340i exists. It is just as fast and fun to drive, has actual back seats with space for adults and it can come in Touring form if you want that. And is also a beautifull looking car.
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff Yeah, I get that... but how many people really want this 4-series? I honestly havent seen or heard anyone that said they loved the look of it, best compliment it got is some type of "I dont mind the looks" and that doesn't sell cars, in my opinion.
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff The rear wheels are 0.75mm smaller 🙂 225 40 and 255 35 don't have exactly the same sidewall height. The 20"s have even bigger difference - 2.25mm. Details nazi in the house...
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff yes, Im talking about the whole wheel, not just the part that holds the tire. As in wheel+tire. The rear wheels are smaller because of the tires, that have shorter sidewalls.
“Bend yourself in many ways” a contortionist. 😆😆. Nice black on red colour combo. If it had a manual option I’d consider it as an upgrade to my M240i. All good again mate.
I've noticed the darker the colour the better this looks and in black it looks stunningly evil. But then if it didn't have that stoopid front grill and wasn't so busy in the rest of it's design, it wouldn't need dark colours to look good. But doesn't take a hater to attack the stupid grill, just someone who's not a bmw fanboi. You even alluded the grill is ugly when you said it disappears somewhat in the black.

Good point, but that's always been the case really - if you want a 4 Series chances are you don't need the back seats very often.

The rear wheel is actually smaller, it's not just because of the pronounced hunch.
Incorrect, they're 19s at front and back. Wider tyres at the back but that's all.
