That 70d looks like it came from a uncirculated mint set. You often see that blueish toning from the packaging they came in.
The AMP DDO quarter bought for $14.99 was one I purchased. I buy them whenever they are cheap because I've only ever found one in circulation in 5 years.

Someone already mentioned that in 1982 and 1983 no mint sets
were produced. You can add 1986 to that list as well. I save all my
1982 '83 and '86 quarters. GREAT FINDS DAVE!

I wonder if the NIFC quarters are leftovers at the mint and the mint released them in with the newer quarters to get rid of them. That's an unusual amount to find.

Nice hunts, as always. Nice 1964s silvers, and they sound fantastic. Your 1975 Canadian is 100% nickel, and magnetic. I keep 100% nickel 5 cents because they're worth nearly 3 times face for their nickel contents. The 100% nickel dimes and quarters are still worth less for the nickel contents, but not that far from face value, and maybe someday they'll be worth more. Only future will tell...
Wonder if the mint is throwing out some extras just because....or doing something like they did with the W minted quarters...Nice hunt though!! Love those S business strikes!! 1982 and 1983 they didn't make uncirculated sets or what not. It's hard to find a good condition coin. I always try and hold on to em for that reason. Love the proofs!!! My favorite find!! 🤘

Honestly wouldn’t grade that 70D, if that’s worth grading then every coin in a mint set is too. My guess is it was broken out of one recently.

It's because in 82 and 83 there were no mint sets issued and you know how hard it is to find those in nice condition in circulation.

Enjoy these episodes! Is it me or does hunting quarter rolls tend to be really frustrating? Maybe cuz we're digging thru 2000 quarters and it seems to take forever. However, my last hunt scored me combined 48 double dies and die chip plus a '45 silver. No (S) or (W) mints tho...
Found a low mintage America The Beautiful quarter. 2012-D Acadia Park (21.6 million).
Awesome finds! I recently got my first quarter boxes and I’ve found 3 W’s so far, multiple die chips on Tuskegee, women’s quarters, and 2021 crossing the Delaware. I found the same Ellis island San Fran minted today!
On that 2024 quarter, there is a die clash on obverse
looks worth grading to me!
