Looking for a goggle recommendation. Been wearing the Giro Axis for two seasons. Liked them a lot. But a bit small width wise and there were decent size gaps on the sides when wearing a helmet. Looking for something similar- cylindrical, edgeless frame, and some sort of quick change lens tech. Syncs might fit the bill. Thoughts? Any others you’d recommend? Love the reviews! Thanks!

What to choose M3 or SYNC? They are in the simillar price range when I'd buy mfi mask for sync. I like the looks of Sync a little bit better but are there any tech differences except magna tech? I think sync might be a bit bigger as well not 100% sure and I am not able to check them out in store.
The advantage of buying SYNC is that you can purhcase a more advanced MFI balaclava and that is the same price as M3. The one that comes with M3 is very basic.
I bought it and then you cancelled my order because my prescription in the left eye was -5.25 not -5.00. so I went with dragon nfx2 from sportsoptical and used the Ram-horn” insert
Sorry for the trouble! We have prescription parameters because we have found that there is an increasingly lower success rate as prescriptions get stronger. Upon review of your prescription, when you look at the total power (sphere and cylinder combined), it looks like it was strong enough that we could be confident that our inserts wouldn't work. Sorry again that we couldn't help, but glad to hear that you found something that works!
Henry, this is Mark with Anon, there are many manufacturing efficiencies with the SYNC, but the main one is just fewer magnets. It's not just the cost of the magnets, but the work needed to install magnets, the additional material that is needed in the lens, etc. SYNC is a great goggle, especially for the price, but it lacks one-step convenience of Magna-Tech.
Hi! In our testing, the lens stayed firmly secure to the goggle chassis without coming popping off even during a few yard sale crashes. A solid goggle throughout!

The Sync does not come with a Spherical version option, unfortunately. The M4 would be our recommendation for you! So, instead of keeping it a purely magnetic fixture that will keep on working, they've introduced (according to their own marketing of the M4) an unnecessary mechanical component that can break. OK then.
Alex, this is Mark with Anon. The goal of the SYNC was to make the best $200 goggle. To do this, we needed to create a new category of goggles and went with magnetic assisted lens change. Reducing the number of magnets and some of the manufacturing complexity required of Magna-Tech allowed us to get this done. While nothing is impervious to breakage, the way the latch is created on the SYNC, it would be extremely difficult to break, and if it does, Anon has a great warranty. Definitely check them out in person. They are not M4, but they are pretty awesome. Have a great season.

Yes, you can do both with the Sync. The adjustable strap allows you to wear the goggle on your face or set it on top of your helmet.

I think because it’s using fewer magnets, less materials, it is lighter most likely, and it can bend a bit more.
