Around 16:00 epic rainbow shot! Amazing country side I'm not sure I could ever come back from that lol. Thanks for sharing the great scenery and good times!
Jim that was maybe the best 30 minutes I've spent this week. That looked like the most fun group of fun loving and passionate people ever. I hope you get to do it for many years to come.
Looks like a blast. Got my Grizzly String in the mail yesterday. It's still stretching out but it shoots great, looks great, and the extra wax was a great surprise. Thanks from Kansas.
Jim, I guess you could say it was worth the wait. Beautiful country and good friends. I noticed you shooting three under you have mentioned you use to shoot three under a while back. Thank you. Alan
I'm watching this film from hospital. I can't tell you how much I miss my bow right now! Thanks for a very nice video. They always put a smile on my face. Best of luck from Fredrik
Those are dashing short-pants you’re wearing at 22:40 and all ‘round great video! I just love the longer videos, they fit well with my obsession for archery and watching archery on Le Tube!
every year I look forward to this! great vid and perfect impression of what archery is all about! so thank you very much Jim because I know how much time goes into this, going through all the footage, selecting, editing, uploading,... thanks buddy, great job!!
I am just amazed. I'm a traditional archer and I live in a northern Italy valley, I like my valley so much. But this one you where in there is such a beauty, plus adding the fun of archery and this perfect woods well... Woah! Hi from Italy Jim! Keep up the good work!!!
Incredibly awesome to have you back on the screen Jim👍👍👍 and really really nice to see you in your right element - shooting instinctive with your friends in the woodlands 🙂
Love it Jim, was fun to watch you and the buddies all together again. I burst out laughing several times while watching this in a public place #WeirdLooksFromPeeps 😁👍🏹❤
It feels great to see you all having fun. Just enjoying shooting and being together. Really great thing. For me personally it is hard to come over my "Targetpanic" and the panic to be the worst douchebag during a shoot with a bunch of beautiful people that aretoo accurate for me... And it's hard to compete with guys with your equipment, when money is an issue... ;-) so, enough rambling around and crying over anything and everything... great video like ever!!! p.s. I haven't forgot our conversation about the selway bow quiver, it's the first item on my "wish to buy" list... and hopefully I can afford a new bow, that quiver and some other additional stuff in the mid to late autumm this year... Best regards, and I really appreciate the stuff you're doing (no adulation, really!) Best regards, Stefan Bär
After following your youtube channel for a year or so, I wanted to reach out to say Thank You and ask a question/video request. First off, thanks for keeping it simple. My wife and I are about to get back into archery, together as a couple for the first time, after decades of not shooting. Your videos helped spur that on. Secondly (and along the same lines), I am looking to set up a range using my garage and driveway. In some of your videos "at the club," you have a target system I would like to replicate (layers of black something or other that don't seem very deep). Would you consider doing a video of how to make one?
G Jim, what happened to the 2017 Gathering. You showed a teaser but I haven't seen the rest of the 2017 Gathering. I do love watching these. Thank you. Alan
Hello Jim, I have learned a lot from your videos when I start tradition archery a year ago. I live near Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA) and would like to learn more about this event. I want to try to plan to go to this event next year. Could you provide some information and some links, please? Thank you and keep up the good work. :-)
Trying to think of something to say about this video, the surroundings and the people present at the gathering but i can't put anything together in my mind, it's hard to put into words all the emotions that go through my soul right now. I could not feel anything but joy as i watched the video and saw all the love you guys and gals have for archery and for each other(and beer, let's not forget the beer)...just amazing, all of it!! Hope i'll be able to make it there next year. Is there a set date Jim? :)
I have to say, of all the things I'd like to do with my lady before I die. This is one of them. We love to travel, especially to places where we can hike and although we are fledglings in the sport (two years and hardly practice) we absolutely love traditional archery. To have a trip that combines the two... And to finally be able to shoot outside (we live in nyc where things are lame) would be absolutely solid. How'd you guys come to do this? How in the heck could I do this?
So happy to see another one of these videos they always remind me what it is i love about archery i wish i could go to Austria and loose a few arrows with you guys! Also Jim have you switched to shooting 3 under all the time now?
Jim, what happened to the 2017 Gathering. You showed a teaser but I haven't seen the rest of the video. I do love watching these Gatherings so please help :-). Thank you. Alan
Watching this 2 years later, it made me wonder: is it more cost-effective for you Jim to drive from the UK over into Austria or to fly with your luggage and your bow over to Austria?
It probably works out a similar price to be honest once you factor in the ferry and the fuel? I guess it depends on how much time you have or if you like road trips 😅
Have you gone full trad Jim and switched to 3 under? Welcome back!! I've watched your gathering videos every year since I picked up archery 4 years ago. This popped up on my feed at work and couldnt wait to get home and watch. P.S. thank you for selling me my first bow all those years ago. Oh and the grizzly string on my cottonmouth is superb!
I'm sure you guys need a native interpreter, just let me know when? I'll even teach you how to hold a "Masskrug" (1 ltr Stein) as you're obviously to do it properly 😁😁😁😁
Hi I was kind of hard on you I am sorry but I think you understud me you no back too basic. I shoot a bow every day and make knifes but have Parkinsons and whis I could be there but I mitt be to sikk anyways sorry by the way the vid bout the tyrki call lafte my ass of

god i wish i could attend this
Good times and beautiful country. Do any of y'all hunt? Didn't see any hunting vids. Thanks for sharing.
Difficult in Europe actually. Bow hunting is forbidden in most of the countries and where it is allowed, really really harsh regulated.
Nothing like manly stuff in the woods with bows and arrows.
I hope you liked and enjoyed my home country ;)
Your home country is beautiful!
Thank you for having me
@@ArcheryAdventures I hope you will come again. I ordered a string via RobinHoodArchery for my longbow.
You can guarantee I’ll be back!!!
Awesomeness
