Hi I watched this video it is great
Thanks!
Hola un gusto amo tu construcción quisiera saber cómo puedo llegar mi bicicleta a 650cc . En tus videos veo que usas un crank de manivela diferente ?
Thanks - yes - it's a +10mil crank (74.8mm) and +11mm bore (105mm). I would recommend calling Racers Edge AZ in Tucson, AZ or FSA Motorsports in California.
Bad azz bike!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Any info on that fuel tank..? Where can I get one.? That and the pingel would be awesome..
Very nice bike..😎
Thanks! The tank is from US Plastics and the Pingel is the 1210-AH (3/8 NPT threaded). You can get the tank with a small outlet on the bottom so that you don't need the pingel. If you decide to go the Pingel route - you'll need to drill the bottom of the tank and install a proper bulkhead fitting.
What kind of intake is that sorry to be ignorant or talkative but I noticed your full blown drag racer and I’m looking for a intake for drag racing any help would be greatly appreciated
It's a Bombardier DS650 intake that's been cut down on the carb side to fit the large intake bell of the carb. We also run a custom aluminum adapter on the filter side as well.
Do you still have the 48 lectron?
No we sold that a few years back - sorry man!
What’s the difference with a crankshop carb and a lectron carb, does lectron not make custom orders for 54+mm carbs or does crankshop carbs just outperform lectrons
The Crankshop carbs are usually run on snowmo's. Lectron does make custom billet carbs all the way up to like 59 or 60mm I think now. Each engine combo is different - but this engine made more power with the Crankshop vs. the big Lectron we tried. I haven't tried Lectron's new biggest 59/60mm tho (hopefully will try it eventually).
@@HottBoysRacing did you ever test both the short rod and long rod motors with the lectron?
@@jpracing_fab1348 - we tested the short rod with both the Lectron and Crankshop. We only ever tested the long rod with a Crankshop
You all run on gas or methanol? Ive got a 54mm Crankshop carb but it’s got one of CP dual inlet bowl on it with a hexagon mikuni dual outlet pump
We run an oxygenated gas from VP called MR12. Requires much less fuel volume compared to methanol for sure!
Sorry for sounding ignorant, but why is it called a TRX450r? are there any parts on that bike that are still from the original bike?
haha thats definitely a valid question. this bike is still TRX based on just about everything...geometry, frame design, engine mounts, rear end geometry/setup, etc. we still utilize TRX specific aftermarket parts also...i.e., ignition/wiring, axle, etc. The engine is still very much TRX450R...OEM inner and outer cases, stator, oil pump, clutch assembly, transmission, all crank/counterbalancer gears, etc. top end is still TRX design using intake buckets and exhaust rocker arm style cam assembly and a TRX specific camshaft. as crazy as it sounds...this is kinda common-place when attempting to push the envelope in the drag world. on the 2-stroke side, there are quite a few "banshees" that are complete aftermarket rigid titanium frames with aftermarket billet engine cases, billet transmissions, billet cylinders, etc....but they are still considered "banshees" or banshee-based. hope that makes sense.
@@HottBoysRacing yep thanks a lot for clearing that up!
Love you videos brother. I have a custom built drag bike that has a 09 R1 engine on it. Do you have a email I would love to talk to you and gets some tips!
