The old lady's son raced it around a circle track she said when he was a teen cus it was so fast for way back in the 60s and 70 when he road it. We had a box full of spar heads and pistons and such stuff that came with it but that as it. We couldn't find anything for it back then with no internet an such things we have today. One of the fastest machines to go down that step back then when I aced was a banshee with a big 2 stroke snowmobile engine. It was amazing. Had a electric clutch so he Rev it an bang the bottom and it take-off like a rocket on the clay-sand track. I was 11 an 12 then and now 40. This brings back memories!❤

I’ve got a handful of drag banshee’s! LSR chassis w/baby cub motor and another w/521. Alky fed and NO WHEELIE BAR!! I got the sand box if u got the time!!!

In 2003 I bought an RD 350 LC for $600 from a pawnshop up here in Canada the only problem with it was somebody painted everything themselves at home other than that it was in perfect shape I immediately got it impounded by the police riding it home from the pawnshop. I figured I could make it two block without insurance I was wrong. It became a $1200 motorcycle. I love that bike
Intersection traffic light cameras are operated by A I system. They know instantly if you're illegal and send a signal to the closest police cruiser. And that's how you got caught. Artificial intelligence computer systems...... You can't get away
Your triple is way off in the gearing. I can't tell if it's too low and you're maxing out the clutches, or if it's too high and is not letting the engine fully rev, and likely slipping/ burning the belt. I'd put a camera on your clutches and do a hard pull and just see how they are engaging exactly... It's also hard to judge gearing when the wheels are spinning so easily too. Your best bet is to look up a service book for that engine and see what the gearing was for the snowmobile, and also the size of the final drive sprocket.. Then just do the math and get your gearing (and tire size) all matching as well as you can and go from there. I changed the gears on my Rotax cart like four times before I finally got it close.

Don't let the money some invest throw you off. My family raced circle track and hill climb bikes for 20+ years. I've seen many 10k + builds waxed by couple hundred-dollar setups. When you lack the knowledge yourself you pay others to build your shit and that runs big $$$ and big money just win big losses.
That dirt is way too dry and loose for traction. They should have been watering it for at least a week minimum and shaving the top every day like the dirt drag strips and dirt ovals for traction. It comes down to luck and traction when you have loose dry conditions like that.
Geez man track conditions were absolutely terrible 👎🏻 no one was really screaming. You guys were basically running hard pack with dust on top, paddle tires just skating on the surface.
That was the worst track to run on especially with anything powerful like your machines. There was alot of stupid fast guys that lost to way slower machines 😒 sad day for all the fast boys guess the turtles won today 😅

Vasily question how fast would a 96 Indy 500 swapped Polaris trail boss be I’m currently building it and can’t find anything else like it I’m more building it for a mud bike on 28 inch super atv assassinators but it should still be fairly fast
@@VasilyBuilds ya I had them of my buddy’s outlander 570 he took them off bc they where heavy but where we ride it’s clay and bottom less sink holes so I put a 15 tooth sprocket in the front instead of a 12 and a 36 in the back rather then a 32 so it would spin them easier and not loose too much top end but eney one that knows the mud game there’s alot of Polaris hate 🤣

You could watch the clutch’s and see if there opening up and closing. Can mark primary clutch with chalk too see if belt is riding to top of sheave.

I raced motocross as a kid as had our trailer broken into at a hotel once and they stole so much of our stuff but thankfully they never got my bikes

@@Berm_Blaster was a 350 2 stroke the 500 has double the horse power and torque with 1500 more rpm I highly doubt it’ll be slow
It should get to 70 if you gear it right but those tires are heavy!
