In 4, if you were doing badly, the ultimate power would quickly come into your hands and if you had no other choice to win, you'd use it. In 5, you'll use all the DarkChips in your folder as ChaosUnison.

Check your setup and make sure you don't have any a) textured pieces on the command line b) no two pieces that are the same color touching each other c) have too many different piece colors When you run the NaviCust, if you have a bug, MegaMan will say something like "I feel a little funny" if there's a bug.

if you combine a dark chip with an attribute thats the same with the souls of navis you get in the game (Protoman Magnetman Gyroman Toadman Numberman) then you can do a chaos unison but its really risky because you have to have perfect timing and if you dont darkmega comes out and beats the shit out of you and you can do NOTHING to get rid of him (I just wait til the custom bar fills up then go to the chip screen and escape ^^;)
Wait mmbn5 has a navi customizer too? I kinda forget it was years ago since I have played the mmbn series, going to replay them all (and star force too) starting with mmbn3 because it's obviously the best with all the content after the final boss. Mmbn3 has navicust too so I'm guessing if 3 and 5 has it then 4 has it too?
Yeah but chaos soul is still much better....if mastered you can get the charge up to 5 times. 5 times dark invis in a row... And if you use dark chips you have to use the cleaner forca period of time to getcrid of the hp loss
on my version u know his icon in the top right that blinks every battle and in battle mode ill break panels when i step on them plz tell me how to fix it it is very stupid

the pros of using dark chips: devastaing power and effects! He also gains the ability to use chips exclusive only to "dark" MegaMan. the cons of using dark chips: makes megaman more evil and makes him lose 1 hp (PERMANENTLTY!!!) the pros of chaos unison: charge attack becomes that same dark chip for as much as you want during the turn and does not affect Karma or have the effect of removing 1 HP the cons of chaos unison: mess the charge up and get ready to get your ass wooped by a dark megaman the cure to the dark poison one must enter battles without the usage of Dark Chips, and this process can be sped up by the "Soul Cleanser" NCP ...personly i never want to use them.
+Zenax Use the Chaos Unison for two charge shots and you should be safe from Darkmega... unless you're using Chaos Meddy because that seriously screws up your timing. Chaos Proto/Knight has the easiest timing in terms of the chargeshot..

i think it was me having to use a dark chip i forgot when i did it but i think that's what did it but it stopped now and thank god cuz im at nebula G and i cant beat him for anything
too bad toad chaos and shadow chaos can only be used in team colonel while protochaos is in team protoman plus u should u dark circle cuz the range is so large
@bien51 Colonel is a lot better soul-wise. The guys at team Protoman look awesome, but are not as cool to play with(for evample I REALLY love Napalmman design-wise, but his soul and command in liberation are pretty useless).
@mega20able lol, in my colonel i still have full health, but in protoman i have 843! (because it's way easier to just point double point atk30 and white pill on dakmeteor)

if you have gotten far enough for navi customizer, you probebly broke one of the rules in it which caused a bug.
