Hi, quick question but do you have the feed attached to the bottom of the actual pedalboard? I haven't seen one personally but the module is definitely supposed to sit high enough that you can use it when it's sitting on the top of the case.
You can feed the cables to the module yes, but what I was pointing out is -- when you plan to use the board inside the bottom part of the case there is not enough clearance for you to plug the outs of the module going to your speakers/FOH. Unless you put in taller feet maybe you can. Idk design wise this ABS case could've done better. Again my goal was for me to be able to play immediately by just removing the top lid.
@@rovenordiales Thanks for the reply. I have the same requirement as you. I want to be able to place my board on the lid and just remove the bottom so it's immediately ready to be cabled and played. The flight case doesn't allow this either, so it seems I'd need to look at something potentially custom made to do this. It's a bit of a shame as the Cinque 5.2 is the perfect size for me and I don't want to move away from that.
@nickaslanidis6156 yeah shame about the ABS case would've been the perfect lightweight case. The custom cases/flight cases are quite heavy so if that is your concern then you need ones with wheels for ease of transport. I have the gigbag for now, no rush in getting a case as I don't plan to be gigging with it soon. It is my experiment board that I treat as a long-term project.
do you think po i should use this for my flight to the Philippines in checking in to a plane? or the other flight case which was colored silver but heavier? 9 euro lang young difference eh. Looking forward to hear from you sir!
Bro I don't advise to check this in the airport for your travel. I mentioned the weak points of this ABS, and with luggages being thrown around mas likely to break. If you really need to check in, I'd advise to get the flight case. But consider also your total weight. Flight case I think is about 3 to 4kg heavier than the ABS case. Tbh I don't think it is advisable to haul a big board to flights that's why you see most travelling musicans carry a lighter board that they can hand carry inside the plane. That's my advise. Get an Hxstomp and build a small board. 😁
@@rovenordiales bro!!! Kmusta jan sa ireland? Summer na dito sa Germany. Hehe. Flight case nalang siguro ako. Small board lang pri. Bale rockboard tres 3.0 lang. I was thinking if it's better to have it at inside my checked luggage since i have 43 kilos avail sa trip pabalik. Do you think better to have it inside one of my two check in luggage? Rather than buying a flight case. What you think?
@Benson.BereTV haven't yet experienced putting effects sa loob ng checkin eh but as far as i know potentially ioopen nila yung luggage mo just to check kasi electronics and maraming wires so baka isipin nila bomb. 😂 Seen lots of stories like that. If you can hand carry it I'd prefer that more.
Answered the questions I had about the case. I think I will also just buy the board and a custom case. Bad design on the case but a great board. Thx 🤘
Thanks for the comment and glad it helped. Yeah there are very few videos about the ABS case but overall a good board. 👌🏻
