My absolute best friend and brother suddenly passed from a massive heart attack on the 8th this month, and his funeral was yesterday. He was only 36. Music and playing his guitar was his life-blood as it is mine, and listening to this definitely is helping to feel him and his love and passion, through your own passion for music Kfir. My dad passed away 7 years ago at the age of 62. Dire straits was the CD that was in his truck CD player. This song is an absolutely beautiful rendition of that song. Thank you for this that reminds me of my dad. RIP

I never imagined Brothers in Arms could sound just as achingly beautiful on acoustic. Exceptional cover.
any songs/musics can but some are more complicated to do this, and i don't mean specifically acoustic/guitar like this cover but like the feeling of a music... then again it can depend on people's brains and how they interpret the musics... i get picky because if i can't feel this sort of thing in a music i might not like it
this is a good example of me trying to explain to people to listen deeper to a music and not necessarily what you can actually hear, this is how my brain feels when i listen to the original, this is why it's a good example xD
like lindsey stirling's transcendence... very fast, not very "peaceful" or "chill" like this cover when you're just hearing it carelessly but it still has that peace to it i love which is what a lot of people can't understand if their brains don't work like mine does xD so it's hard to explain how we feel for a music
so yea this is a great cover for that reason, it's like he took the song and extracted the feeling of it to be able to let everyone hear it xD

Mark Knopfler is one my favourite guitarist, and the album in which this song was originally included is probably one of the best I ever listen to.
This version of Brothers in Arms took me back to the time when I used to listed to the album over and over again, enjoying every little chord.

This was played at a friend's funeral, he was a Grenadier Gaurd, killed in Afghanistan.
More importantly, he was someone's Son, Husband and a Father.

I have never heard an instrumental arrangement of a song where the instrument so well follows the original intonation of the song vocals. That is what I call attention to the small but absolutely critical details (and above all feeling for the song). Beautiful and impressive! Knopfler should be pleased.

This is stunningly beautiful! Everything about the presentation! I've never seen a guitar like that before! Please, everyone, do yourselves a favor and listen to this one on headphones or a hifi system of some kind. Your phone speakers won't do it justice! The song is on a whole different level in full stereo and binaural listening. Multilayered and extremely detailed. One of his best recordings I've heard yet!

I also love this guitar and the rendition played here. I too would so much like to Know what Mark thinks of the way this was performed?And mostly I would love to hear him play the song on this guitar. It’s a spectacular instrument I wish I could afford.

Amazing cover, the song alone stirs memories from my past as a soldier , fighting, loving , and loosing . You did this song justice and brought a tear or two to my eye of days long ago in places I never dreamed of traveling , from the Middle East, Central America, Haiti, East Africa, Balkans ! Thank you from an old and tired man who folks try to get past now , when in the past I was strong !
