Not much in my opinion, Quantum Computers aren't faster than traditional CPU for all problems. Some problems are more efficient on Quantum Computers but otherwise Quantum Computers will most likely be relegated to the side for specialized tasks like a GPU is. Useful but not something you'd run an OS on. That said however, due to their nature Quantum Computers are much more optimized for physic simulations than GPUs, which makes them ideal for simulating some of these things. Fluid simulations may see a strong speed up because they are waves and Quantum Computers operate on waves. We'll have to wait and see though as you would require a lot of qubits and it might actually be physically impossible to build a Quantum computer large enough to work with that information.
I mean, the physics simulations will still have to most likely be optimized. Aswell the simulations themselves will still have to be created and perfected. So altho I believe it'll be faster and give more free rein to the intelligent people behind the simulations, it will still take time to perfect the simulations themselves.

Seeing a game with such realistic physics and not requiring a really expensive computer to run at more than 5 fps would be epic. More people should watch these videos.
I really want to see physics and sandbox effects really become the focus of most coming games. It's what makes games so replayable. I love free running parkour mechanic-style stuff. I remember the first ac game and ea skate blew my mind.
Valve not only made a game with beautiful graphics, they also optimized it so it looks good on med fidelity on a 1660 with a good frame rate, but also did it in VR which is very performance intensive, but not only that, they put realistic-ish liquid physics in the bottles in the game EDIT: yes i know it's a shader, it was less a point of "oh wow physics simulations" (despite the fact i did call it physics i admit i may have misinformed some people) and more of "jesus they outdid themselves"

He jokes about low FPS on these simulations, but I remember just 15 years ago it took a small rendering farm 20 or 30 minutes to do animations that games now do at 120FPS or better. With Moores Law not quite defeated, we may be less than 5 years from seeing this in realtime. Imagine games like Ark with IK rigs... No more wacky scenarios like gigas walking up a straight mountain face to snack on your innards.
