Да здорово и интересно наблюдать за работой мастера. Спасибо благодарю за видео. Для меня отлично получилось. Очень хорошая работа. По моему мнению. Видео понравилось. 🤗🤗🤗💪💪💪✊✊✊👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏.
Thanks man!! I just found one of these lighters at a flea market and it was missing the little spring lever that you assemble at 8min13 (that catches the wheel) I was stumped until I saw it on your video!! managed to make a primitive one with a piece of folded drink can aluminium 🤣anyway... Cheers!!
Fantastic, thank you!!! 🎉 I just bought this same one today for $8. Looks like mine might only need some fluid to work. And now thanks to you, I have a better idea of how to keep it working. 😀
I too have the long barrel version of this very lighter. I have decided to restore mine with help from this video. I've never taken this thing apart and have found that someone in the past had taken it apart before because the striker wheel was below the silver cylindrical part and there was no way the striker would make contact with the flint to create a spark and the screw that would go down into that part was all messed up. I am currently trying to drill the screw out so that I can properly fix this lighter.
So I have this exact lighter however kissing a few pieces. What would you suggest as a substitute for the “cocking lever” and also a cap for where the spring would go?
Very nice work HoR.. would have been nice if you had 2 of them and put them in a red velvet lined wooden case, to make them look like dueling pistols.. Well take care my friend until we see your next video...
Nice job ! I have one similar but I could not do what you do...I put new flint, when I rotate the wheel by hand I get plenty of spakles but when I pull the trigger there is no sparkle at all...Could you help me understand why, what's happening and how should I proceed to make it work ?
Brilliant . I have an identical flintlock lighter - however - I cannot for the life of me get the wick to stay tight in the extremely small hole that's there , it's very shallow and super small , got it working once but it just falls out , is there anything I could use to help this stay in or maybe a special wick you know of ? Would be greatly appreciated as this is a present for a very old friend ❤
Hi there, I have one of these that my dad had brought back in the day that also doesn't work. Yet it's in good condition. I noticed when you were putting the flint wheel assembly and catch together that is meant to spin it you dropped a small shim piece of metal. I assume it's some sort of spacer to keep the flint striking. I know it's a tall ask, but if you had any advice about potentially fabricating a fix part that could be very helpful for my own repair.
I have same lighter Springs and all are intact but no spark. When I take the long spring and flint out then the wheel turns. With the flint and spring inserted the wheel won’t move at all. Please advise what May be the issue?
What’s the name of that part that comes down and puts flame out? I have a lighter like this but it’s missing that part. Want to restore it for my grandad
Iv got two of them. But I have never managed to make the name out on the stand. It’s either Rinalite or Binalite flintlock cigarette lighter. Hope this helps.
Hi, it depends of course, if there are broken parts then it would be more difficult, otherwise you may try to repair yourself if your good at dealing with little parts. Anyway good luck !
That whould be a cap lock not flint lock only because of the way the touch hole meets the barrel of the pistol if it was a real flintlock there would be a frizzen a piece of flint and a powder pan under that with a touch hole not a hammer and a nipple like on a cap lock but where can I get one of these lighters ? And is it a quality piece or a breaking and throw it away?

Tips on getting the wick back in? I'm having trouble lol
hi, you can try to burn a little one tip of the wick to make it more like a single thread, good luck !
These were table lighters and quite common in the 60's and 70's.
