    Sounds great! I'm a musician and this is definitely better than most headworn microphones from big brands like Shure and AKG.

      Unfortunately I do not have a ATH-M50xSTS to do a direct comparison :(

    The screaming portion could be the whole video and it would be considered viral quality :)

      Haha all my future audio reviews is just me screaming into the mic and then DONE! :D

    I really dislike the processed sound, the unprocessed sound is really great tho!

    How do I put the mic into my Rodecaster Pro II?? I used a mini>quarter TRS and I just get hiss/noise. Thanks!

      @TLDR_filmmaker  Місяць тому

      Not entirely sure if its doable. My guess is you need to make sure the TRRS thats coming out of the headphone is converted to the TRS. After that the port will need to supply 5v phantom power for the headset mic to work. This is my best guess for how to use it in that system.

      @@TLDR_filmmaker To follow up, I learned that this headset comes with a splitter, and the mic side of the splitter has to go into a Rode 'VXLR Pro' adapter... works and sounds great.

    how can we hook these up for zoom calls? Do we need special adapter?

    • @TLDR_filmmaker
      @TLDR_filmmaker  8 місяців тому +2

      No special adaptors needed. All laptops and most computers no longer have a dedicated "mic" port. They all use TRRS which can handle speakers and mic with one plug.
      If you are on your phone that has no headphone jack, then you'll need an adaptor for your phone that gives you a headphone jack.
      If you are on a full desktop computer where there are dedicated headphone and mic jack. You will need to purchase a merger cable that plugs into the Headphone and mic jack and gives you a single TRRS headphone jack.
      Hope this helps!

    dude you have been mia for wayy to long. Im curious on your opinion of the new Rodo wireless pro and there is a new budget version of 7artisans lav system. hope you are well man, hit us back with some content

      I sure has my friend. 2023 has been a very different year, but looking to come back in a different way thats more useful and fulfilling :)
      The new RODE W. Pro is easily going to be the best full package for the money for the next year, maybe two. I will be very interested to see how its internal 32bit float handles its noise floor. I feel the Zoom F2 and Tentacle Sync was a little bit on the noisier side back when they first came out. We'll see if RODE has a similar or better performance.
      As for the 7artisans system. I'm sure it will work decently well. My guess is the tech inside is a generation behind (not a bad thing). For creators that need to make every dollar count, it should be fine.

      Hey hey Roars!
      Thank you so much for checking out this video and commenting!
      I don't have too much experience with headset mics, but now that I think of it most of the cheaper ones are a bit thin in the voice. This does sound like your regular RODE Lav that can then be EQ'd quite well if desired!
      Thanks again for stopping by! Stay safe, healthy, and I’ll see you in the next one!

      Hey hey Lewis!
      These headphones are exactly the same as the first NTH 100, it just comes with the additional microphone headset accessory.

      Hey hey again Jason!
      Definitely not bad at all! Sounds more or less like the RODE Lav Go's that EQ very nicely!
