It sold well, 77k on 7 songs…and it came out a whole day late. That’s why The Lost Tapes 2 counted for Def Jam because ‘Nasir’ wasn’t a full length album, or enough songs to stream like a full album in todays music industry
Ugly is a dope beat but as a beat maker myself, Speechless took the cake but that's just my own opinion. Also a dope analysis of the KD trilogy including Magic.

Nas is long regarded as the greatest rapper of all time, not one of the greatest rappers of all time. I also agree KD1 is the weakest of the 3 that’s what makes 2 and 3 not winning the Grammy feel strange it was like Nas would’ve won in 2021 no matter what album he dropped and no matter what he did drop he couldn’t win any Grammy after.
King’s Disease is good, but it winning a grammy is ANOTHER case of popularity always winning because Alfredo is easily the best rap album of that year. Nas is the most recognizable rapper out of all those nominated.

As a Nas fanatic, I loooove KD 1! Car 85 & Full Circle are some of my favorites. KD 2 grew on me. For me it’s KD 1, (Magic), KD 3, and KD 2.
