I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that Tui had big plans for Flame to make him the SkyWing protagonist of Arc 2 if she didn’t do what the fans wanted by keeping Peril in the story instead. He was definitely being built up in Arc 1 for something big…

yeah..but I'm happy that she kept peril in the story-i loved book 8, and perils unique perspective was definitely fun to see as a pov character. plus, i really do like her as a character.

Beautiful storytelling! I love how you've put together some of the stories from your first What If..? season, like Glory being born in the rainforest and Sunny being raised in the Scorpion Den. Not to mention, displaying the characteristics and personalities of the Alternate Dragonets. Super excited to (hopefully) see a continuation of this story!

I love the storyline, but there is little chance they would keep their names.(For example, Thorn was going to name Sunny “Beetle”)
Well, dunes did pick a name off of thorns list, so there is a decent chance her name would have stayed, and to avoid confusion it stayed the same for this, but if anything, I find it highly unlikely clay and glory's name stayed, but, for the sake of the story it did lol
@@ChaoticWatcher But Thorn quite clearly tells Sunny she would have named her Beetle;she never gave Sunny a list of names of which she wanted to choose for her.By then,she’d probably selected her name.

I'm pretty sure Beetle was just a nickname Thorn called the egg, not 100% what Thorn would've called Sunny

Very clever to take the metal tail barb from the "If Sunny grew up in the scorpion den" story. I like how the different stories are starting to kinda connect to each other in little ways.

Rahh I love how much detail you put into this! Such a captivating story and your art was so dynamic and interesting to look at! When you were shading glory and altering the opacity levels to make her wings transparent, I had to rewind the video bc I forgot to pay attention to the story xD
Also, love the small details you added, such as Sunny keeping her metal tail barb from a past episode and Crane still happening to die, but to NightWings this time - which I think was a great motive for clay in this AU
Definitely the best story so far, and I'm so excited for part three >.

This was really great. The fake dragonets were quite distant and rude to each other, and if they had been raised as the real, that made them be better. The art in these is so amazing and the stories are intriguing.
This is so good! I like that Clay, Glory, and Sunny are still friends. Some ideas are: What if icicle succeeded in killing the dragonets of destiny, What if clay died from the dragonbite viper, and What if Swordtail was a flamesilk instead of Luna and Blue.

Okay sorry for the scream but OH MY FREAKING GOSH the way you put in Clay and Glory and then your first What If episode (maybe Qibli's idk) was SO CLEAN and the way you orchestrated everything so smoothly literally caused me to pause and tell my dad multiple times. Like HOLY CRAP it was good! This takes your What If series to a whole new level!

3. What if the lost continent was never actually lost
4. What if Fathom never went to the night kingdom
Just Cyprus, merging multiple What If’s into one What If.
some suggestions for more episodes What ifs:
(not sure if your taking suggestions anymore but here)
(Spoilers for arc 1 and 2 (and some of the legends)
-What if sunny was pure-blooded
-what if one of the DoD was an animus
-what would have happened if the Nightwing tribe never left the old Nightwing kingdom(or the one Clearsight/Darkstalker grew up in)
-What if Tsunami and Anemone switched places?
-What if kestrel "killed" peril instead of sky, and then escaped with him?
-what if clay drowned while escaping
-What if kestrel killed glory
-What if glory and peril where swapped? (so scarlet found glory on her own as an egg in the sky kingdom, and kestrel brought her own egg, but it was still sky and peril?)
-What if SUNNY had the powers of Nightwings since she's a hybrid(or maybe has animus magic?)
-what if Qibli accepted Darkstalker's offer?
-What if ClearSight and Darkstalker had Dragonets?
-What if Darkstalker became king(weather through murder or good reasons can be up to you :] )
-What if Darkstalker used to take dragonets and fly off with them to a new Nightwing kingdom so that if his plan to attack the queen failed he could still lead? (meaning many dragonets went missing due to this, and potentially there was another Nightwing kingdom that had powers? and worshiped Darkstalker maybe? (this one was inspired by a M.A.P I saw a long time ago although I don't remember the name or who it was posted by)
(And yes I know I’ve re-commented this probably more that I should-)

The art piece you did for this video conveys character and plot quite well. The fanfic you produced for the storytelling component of this video breathed new life into this series for me to the point where I could actually enjoy the content, which surprisingly enough, is something that the books weren't ever able to do for me. I am still getting the sense that you see the Wings of Fire dragons similarly to how I see Pokemon based on how you talk about them here, which is a very endearing effect for me since it reminds me of the games and stories I used to read growing up. I could get into a whole bunch of analytical minutia, though would rather remain general for right now. Really enjoyed the video, it's good to hear from you again! =)

Moonwatcher age: 6, likes scrolls, smart, blind after the volcano,
ostrich, age: 6, sweet, loves the prophecy, wants to start a school for all tribes/jade mountain in the distant future
tsunami age: 1 an animus (enchanted by turtle), attached to her mother (queen coral) by a harness, small, youngest sister (before auklet), hates whirlpool, not that aggressive, etc
Clay Age: 6, caring, observant, loyal
Glory Age: 3, energetic, very chatty, bright, happy, enthusiastic, bouncy
Starflight Age: 8, impatient, blunt, arrogant, unsentimental, sharp, determined, strong, bold, rebellious
Sunny Age: 2, smart, curious, usually excited for class)
