Here's my idea: what if instead of Kestrel choosing to sacrifice Sky, she chose Peril. This making it so she could get away with one of her dragonets instead of having to abandon them to Scarlet.
But what would happen with wren though? That could be a fun addition to that story as well.

@@OsirisTheRaptor I think your referring to the "What if the skywing egg survived?" But that's another dragonet. Peril and Sky hatched a year before the dragonets of destiny, it was why she couldn't be the lost skywing egg, she was older.
Heres an idea: if Peril was with Wren and Sky was with Scarlet, peril keeping her firescales and sky just being a pet to be made fun of.

I have a good idea for a "What if!" What if Clearsight never put the bracelet on Darkstalker? I can imagine what he would do to get revenge on Fathom if he knew the enchantment. I LOVE THIS TYPE OF VIDEO!

I think he would be better than his father in a way just being naturally more empathetic and not experimenting on them maybe helping a few escape then he could've gotten caught and get put up for execution only to be saved by the rainwings.

What if Icicle died to either Sora’s assassinations in Book 6? As Darkstalker said, she was likely to die in most of the futures he saw and changed the future greatly when she survived. But I’d imagine it would be a bit too complicated for an au this specific.

I have an idea: What if the Othermind stayed hidden on Pyrrhia and took over one of the Pyrrhian tribes like it did to the HiveWings. (Also a suggestion if you pick this, maybe Sky can be the one that escaped the mind control)
I love how you explained how clay and glory met each other in the what if the false dragonets where the real dragonets!
Idea: what if Orca wasn't evil, what if she had realized her powers and used them only for good and only we completely needed. Not only would she still be alive when Tsunami gets stolen, but Tsunami would have a BUNCH of older sisters, and turtle and Anemone would have someone keeping an eye on their magic.
An idea: What if Quickstrike never died?
How would that change the trajectory of Deathbringer’s story? Would he still eventually betray the Nightwings?

What if idea: what if tsunami grew up in the ocean or starflight, the valcano?
Another one I thought of is what if icicle became queen? What if ice wings didn't lose there magic but just did a trade like arctic had eggs with foeslayer and then came back to the ice kindom?

Reading about Crane dying really played on my heart strings. Your amazing at writing and enjoy every single one of your what ifs, and the art!! Don’t even get me started! I literally redraw a bunch of your art for fun and can’t wait to see more.
Now I’m thinking about how this would extend into arc 2. Sora would have plenty reason to hate Icicle, but she wouldn’t try to kill her. Maybe one of the NightWing students is/is related to Crane’s murderer. Because Sora will never be free of angst.
Maybe Bigtail is the murderer and survives the dragonflame cactus bomb, just to be murdered with Sora’s own claws, then the arc continues as normal.

This gave me an idea for the rest of the Dragonets of Destiny: What if Tsunami never got stolen from the royal Hatchery? What if Starflight was never given to Morrowseer?
I saw someone suggest an au where Morrowseer swapped places with Secretkeeper and raised Moonwatcher instead, which i totally think is cool!

I love how the stories are now intertwining, each story a different perspective in this altered world. We've got Glory, Sunny and now Clay. There's only Tsunami and Starflight remaining for their altered stories. Can't wait! 🤩

Yeah and While we could do Starflight, we would have to pull something weird to explain how Tsunami's egg didn't die. Maybe Gill took it out of the hatchery and told Coral that it had been stolen. Maybe he raises her alone and is preparing to tell Coral when the Skywings took him. idk we know the Tsunami would have died if she had stayed so who knows.

I love how a bunch of these. What if or kind of interconnected because it does make sense and it's wonderful. And I love seeing this side of clay one who's a fighter and Not always In the background. Clay is the 1st wings of fire character. We know about and I love him but unfortunately he gets really sidelined a lot in cannon after book one.

Idea: What if kestrel saw sky& wren snooping around the cave? it happened in the books but kestrel didn't see but what if she happened to look up? what if she killed/just got rid of glory and exchanged her with sky and wren stayed bc sky is bonded with her? I think that would be fun!

Yesss it tied back to season 1 just like I'd hoped. Clay is always a good bean, and it was satisfying to see the missing piece to how the group got together in the main What If reality - not to mention how lovely all the sibs look together. The first really is the worst...

Here are a couple of suggestions for more what if's: what if Sunny and Starflight switched roles(in the way that Starflight was the hybrid and Sunny was the pure NightWing), what if Morrowseer found out about Moonwatcher, what if Moonwatcher never got her powers, what if Sky survived instead of Peril, what if Peril wasn't a firescales, what if Kestrel was nicer to the DoD, what if Qibli agreed to Darkstalker's offer, what if Darkstalker never ate the strawberry(DEFEATED BY A STRAWBERRY!), what if Darkstalker never found out that Turtle existed, what if Anemone and Tsunami switched roles(in the way that Anemone was the DoD while Tsunami was the princess kept safe and dragged around on a harness), what if Anemone or Tsunami became queen, what if the scavengers didn't kill Queen Oasis(in the way that the NightWings have to find another way to invade the rainforest or something like that), what if Turtle managed to save at least one of the princess eggs by getting Snapper to guard them(if you forgot in the prologue of book nine Gill tried to get Turtle to find Snapper when the guard on the shift got really sick but Turtle failed because Snapper was at the summer palace and it caused a lot of trauma for him, and sorry :( if you already knew this), what if the SandWing treasure was found immediately after Queen Oasis' death, what if the SandWing treasure was never found, what if Onyx became queen of the SandWings, and what if I stop giving what if's?

I think an interesting idea is - what if Rainwings were like normal dragons? With all thier normal skills but they also fought in the war, hunted and ate meat, and had a proper queen. I think this would of changed so many things and could of made them the most powerful dragons with thier ability to sneak u on dragons and their devastating venom.

One side was the Sunny we all know and love, the other was the nightwing personality, the shifty Sandwing, and the icy self absorbed protective IceWing.
I know it seems like a lot, but think,
If you remember in the first book, Sunny wasn’t trusted with secrets ever since she accidentally told Dune about the rock tower and he had taken It, and all other rocks, away.
If you do in the end of any of your videos, I kinda want you mention my friend, Emma, who passed away on June 1st 2023 she was only fourteen years young.
Her family needs prayers, especially since she has a younger brother and was the oldest.

10. What if Queen Wasp didn’t get the breath of evil
11. What if the leaf wings succeeded in trying to be able to mind control Queen Wasp

I have an idea for “What If?” Here’s my idea: what if Darkstalker wasn’t an animus? It would be cool to see his relationship with Clearsight and for Darkstalker not turning evil.
This is really late but what if Peril challenged Scarlet for the throne, instead of Ruby. Maybe Chameleon could have a positive arc, and help her learn how to rule the Skywings. If this happened, I'd assume Ruby would have been killed already, giving Peril an unexpected surge of grief, as Cliff asked something like why his mom won't wake up. If you want a romantic side, make Clay into a Mudwing ambassador, trying to negotiate for peace when he starts falling for the new queen. I could see Peril adopting Cliff as a younger brother, sort of like Luz and King from The Owl House. I think, with some therapy, she could be a great queen and seeing her stand up to Scarlet after a life of lies and abuse would be very satisfying.
