I used to be a sister missionaries for the LDS Church like these actors in the movie. I am glad somebody is making a movie that points out the dangers that missionaries are exposed to. We have visited drugged up guys, and all kinds of weird people in their apartments. As a young person, you are so oblivious and just do what your Church tells you to do. Praying doesn’t help in these situations and I’m glad something like this never happened to me. I would not send my kids on an LDS mission. It is just too dangerous. I‘d rather have them serve in their own community or have regular open hours in churches where people can go to and learn more about the Church with several groups of missionaries present. No need to go to strangers‘ homes to help people.
This tactic not for you to recruitment or teaching people gospel, but for you to learn that outside world is dangerous and most people "can't be saved". And it worked, you now want your kids to stay closer to your church, where it is "safe".
As an ExJW I would like to say I really appreciate the metaphor of trying to escape the beliefs and practices of a high control group, ie cult, being likened to surviving a dangerous and terrifying maze at the hands of a madman.
My man has been waiting his entire life and built a whole house for a random Jehova's Witness to show up and he got _two_ of them. Score! *Before you comment; "Akshoowalleeeee!!!", I have no F's to spare for you lol.
Here is the synopsis since they dont have it: When two Mormon missionaries attempt to convert a man, it turns out to be far more dangerous than they could have anticipated
Using the Saw X 'All I Need Is The Air That I Breathe' is kinda weird, but wow what a cool looking film...We need more stuff like this, the stories where choices very important and ethics are questioned....Phone Booth, Saw, Seven...God we need a sequel to Phone Booth 10 years ago! And what ever happened to finishing off Hannibal's story with Clarice?
IVE NEVER SEEN HUGH GRANT IN A THRILLER FILM HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN COMEDY FILMS FILM NEVER OF THOUGHT HE WOULD BE IN A HORROR TYPE OF FILM bit like Robbie Williams who made some horror films from comedy films it's all beutifull
Because trying to leave the convoluted world and find your way out of the beliefs and procedures of a high control group like LDS or JW or any of the cults that are getting exposed for what they are these days, is like navigating a dangerous and terrifying maze.

Not gonna lie im very happy seeing Hugh Grant getting more work these days. I really like him on the big screen
I am here for the continuation of Hugh Grant's Villain Era
Came here to post literally this exact comment almost verbatim.
10 years ago, I'd never think of Hugh Grant being in a horror suspense movie. But will say, this looks good.

You can't force help on people who don't want it. That's essentially what these door to door people do. Force help on people who don't want it.
I think visiting people at home is ok, but stay on the front porch and talk. Never go inside even if they invite you in.
@@CMV314 Just doesn’t work in every weather, and most people don’t have a porch 🤷🏻♀️
@@celestialeel That assumes it's help. I know the people doing the proselytizing think it's help. But it isn't always.

Hugh Grant is having a bit of a renaissance.
A Grant-aissance, would you say?
Ooooh this one looks good! Nvr seen Hugh Grant in suspense/horror, it’ll be interesting to see how he does in the role. 👍🏼🙂👍🏼
It’s clear you’ve never seen wonka
@Eggplantman21 the new one? Perversion.
Only the Gene Wilder OG film is Willy Wonka.
You should consider checking out Hugh Grant in The Lair of the White Worm (1988).
@@zenhydraThanks for the recommendation 😊
He was the villain in paddington 2

i love Sophie Thatcher from Yellowjackets. If she is in a movie, I immediately watch it
She’s great
Looks alright

When two Mormon missionaries attempt to convert a man, it turns out to be far more dangerous than they could have anticipated
Thank you! I saw that their synopsis had no information at all!
Tbf I got that from the trailer
Nooo way
Guess they should have kept that nonsense to themselves. Hopefully this film will open minds.
@@Roscoepotamus-om6gf If you're rooting for the psychopath with the death house over the two innocent Mormon girls, then you're the villain.

I'm curious what's the deal with Hugh Grant's character in this film, definitely one I'll be checking out
I can hear that song from Godzilla vs Kong and from Saw X trailer
"Split" vibes.
this seems soo interesting bc technically you don’t know who’s gonna be the final hit bc their both fighting for survival?!?
Looks good
His wife is a heavy sleeper!
Yeah! x
human centipede references like two girls in the rain man in forest i love it
Well, if the LDS missionaries all looked like this, I would definitely let them come on in.
Really curious about what is motive is. Why a maze?

Hugh Grant looks naturally like a psychopath. That movie was made for him.
Adeptus Astartes: Purge the Heretic.
Can’t wait for A24’s patented bait and switch on this.
Just left the theater. Disappointed. The potential this movie had wasn’t unlocked at all. All the actors did good…that’s all I got tbh….
