the only major difference is the express lanes have fewer exits. if you watch the next video in the sequence (NJ Turnpike Exits 73-68, 16W), you'll see that both roadways have access to all the major highway junctions in the area
@tpir1972 route 4 is more like an "arterial" in that it has interchanges with the major roads it intersects, but still has at-grade intersections with other roads and business entrances.
@tpir1972 i usually only do freeways so its unlikely i'll get to do route 4, especially since i still need to film sections of 80, 280, 78, and routes 21 and 3...
brings back memories... i wish instead of dash mounts some of the videos would do a pan and show the views off to the side too..$12 ? ouch, but only in one direction i believe.. think I remember when it was a buck 50

I have a question about the GWB approach, I-80 stops at I-9, so why is it STILL called 80/95? 80/95 don't multiplex.

@0:58 is that US Route 9 merging in on the roight to the GW Bridge? ad can you film the LOWER level both ways next time?

And on the Turnpike between 80 and the GWB is it called I-95 or the Turnpike and why does it change from exit 18 to exit 69?

So despite the fact Route 4as major interchanges with Route 17, and the GSP and 208, it's not a freeway, so what is a freeway?
When you ndo this NJ bound bridge again, can you go onto Route 4 West, or you only do freeways?

Route 1/9 don't see a lot of treaffic north of Woodbridge, I think it's because of the Turnpike it's faster.
