I have just made the tracing for the first arrangement, such fun to do but my goodness it looks so simple compared to the construction underneath! Taking a break before adding the elements for the second. Such a pleasure to construct these patterns without use of a protractor, as it teaches us a much greater understanding of the pattern development. Thank you so much, Samira :)

Jazak'Allah khair. Thank you for this amazing tutorial. It mean for an amazing art therapy session for me when I had a day to myself. The tips on how to avoid unnecessary lines to reduce clutter were very very helpful and highlight your experience as a artist and a teacher. Thanks again. I look forward to trying the others!

Such a great demo♥️ would love to give it a try; but I am a beginner in Islamic patterns and tend to get lost in the figure after 85% of the lines are made.🤦‍♀️
Learning to segregate using different colors.

Thank you! Would you recommend using guache paints to paint these sorts of patterns? Would watercolour work too?

@@samiramian totally understandable as it started as a traditional medium. Was just asking to turn them into digital patterns. I figured out a way to try it in procreate. Youre great at it and great at teaching!
