Review Gear Guide TeePee Tent, for Camping.

- I just received my new Gear Guide "TeePee Tent" today, Set it up in less than 10 minutes. I like it, and plan to take it to the woods soon. We camp in NW Arkansas near a place called White Rock Mtn. We go there for hiking, backpacking, exploring, and ATVing.

Hey! We live in dequeen AR and we're planning on getting the 18x18 tent to go camping at broken bow lake in ok. It's airways nice to hear from a fellow Arkansan.
Is the pole sturdy enough for a stripper?

have one. like it . easy to set up. need heavy duty stakes. seal seems . works good in rain until you have to open door. on a rainy day you must close the windows also.
I just had this out in the snow with two twin beds in it and all the gear and two big buddy heaters. worked out great but I noticed it don't leak but if I keep the vents closed in the winter it will form water in the tent so must have at least one vent open guys and I must be pitched properly so no leaks begin

always seal the seems no matter what tent it is.
that pole in the middle might be a bad idea for me. knowing me I'll probably stumble in there drunk one night and forget it's there bump into it loose my balance and fall on my ice chest or something and hurt myself

Just ordered this tent. How'd it work for you? Leak? What did you seal it with?
I don't trust the reviews to much, to many aren't the "sharpest knife in the drawer" and don't seam seal or treat a tent. I love a good storm while camping, wife and I have camped when tornados were about, didn't know ahead of time just came up on us, but we had a great time!!

its recommend that you use sealer on the seams.

where in white rock is good for ATV riding? i was not aware that it was available there. White Rock is absolutely beautiful
there nice tents but get wet inside was not happy with it . need some seam sealer for them .
i cant find anywhere any info on a stove jack does this teepee have it and or can I install one?

Only if you are willing to cut it and do sewing on a tent not designed to take a stove.

Did you look at the Ozark Trail 11' 8" X 11' 8" Teepee tent for $48 before you bought that one? The Ozark Trail comes with no center pole.
Yeah, but Ozark is known for leaking like a sieve.
It leaked very little when I first got one, and two cans of camp dry took good care of that. I left it out for two weeks in a heavy downpour and a couple of light rains. Very little water in there. I checked on it every couple of days. I have to hit it up perhaps one more time, and then I'll call it a day.

I know these tents come in two sizes, didn't catch which one you have. Another question, how high does the zipper door go; I am six foot, 55 years old and my crawling into tent days are long gone. Go hogs
