Just another note i compared most shf to figure rise articulation and i just found out that figure rise has better articulation than shf as shf has stiff joints but cant really criss cross arms but paint and sculpt are good but as for figure rise all figures can do splits and criss cross arms and are easily customisable than shf
I honestly like the look of the figure-rise cell more, even without paint. I don't like the look of the extra chest bend in the smaller cell, and even if he has more posability, how much of that will you really use, as it gets to a point where it looks really weird, even if it is technically possible with that figure. Though thats my opinion.
100%.. he's supposed to be massive most times.. if you go by Piccolo's height (7'5), even though he is almost never drawn that way, he could be, like, 8 feet lmaoo

I have to agree with you on the best cell figure being an in between both versions with the lean build and the height. I do have the premium color cell and have been considering getting the Figure rise standard version for awhile due to being a big fan of the character.

I like this cell. I've always wanted a figure of him from the scene where he gets super mad that he cant beat gohan and gets super bulky, he increased in height and bulk and i feel like this figure is perfect for representing that version of cell

I bought the manga colour perfect cell and I think it looks awesome. I don't mind the face at all, the eyes could be a tad smaller, just wish it was a bit taller, but all in all really happy. I just hope they don't release a 2.0 any time soon or I'm gonna feel like a dumbass lol

i like the figure rise better, its just more cleaner, and better accesories, same with most, the androids are cheaper, but they look identical, better accessories so i recommend figure rise better because they have ssj4s and kid buu, and krillin is cheaper with te disk
Figurise I honestly like better, it's fun to build and looks more clear and cartoon like. I recommend making the face look a bit better with a light marker or something. I also enjoy the kid buu plan on picking him up soon 😁👍

If anyone can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated: So I bought my sh figuarts premium color cell off an sh figuarts db collector and the figure itself is flawless. My concern is with the box itself. The FUNIMATION sticker on the bottom right on the front of the box is missing, and the TOEI sticker has no number in its corner and has japanese writing under the cats face. I believe that this does not mean it's a bootleg but I want to confirm since an avid db sh collector friend of mine is leaning more towards it being a bootleg version. Thanks for any input!
Both shf preferred but the fr cell has better height I just wish the shf cells had was a little bit wider. But I prefer shf unless you're gonna use the fr cell for size and height
Personally, i hate figure rise cell's eyes. In the anime, it is black with a "pale red" around the outside, but the figure eyes are just tiny red dots.
I think figure rise appears to be closer to the right height, a little taller maybe. Compared to figuarts were goku and cell are almost the same height
to be real with you i like the model kit i am used to build kits i build few gundams in 2018 so sh figure arts the longer you wait cell is like 100$ for the old one the new one is 71$ so getting the model kits . well in the anime cell looked bigger than goku i think in his final form so i like the model kit and i buy frieza figure rise cause his sh is like 100 as well but his model kits are 30$

This is, taking into consideration, his official height, and shape, from the original manga, and concept arts. SH Figuarts Piccolo is also out of scale too, by a lot. The only Figure-Rise Standard model kits that will fit absolutely perfectly with the SH Figuarts line, are the Super Saiyan 4 figures, since they ARE supposed to be way taller, and bulkier than their respective base forms.

I can't speak for anyone else, but to me there isnt much sculpt to the main kamehameha beam, its just a big lob of molded plastic, with two little blue areas. It still looks good, but I appreciate the Figure-rise effects on the beam itself.

The BEST Cell to get is Dragon Stars. It's the PERFECT Cell (pun intended) with the right look, height, and color.
