I just don't understand how they can make a beefcake like Broly perfect every time yet Cell, Frieza, Vegeta, etc. always have some kind of issue that detracts from its appeal.
D J Bandai doesnt care about figuarts . They still havent released goemon or Zenigata from Lupin or any more of the strawhats

@@spade7646 Model kit is way too bully and weird looking. It looks better than figuarts, but the dragon stars is the best one. Looks great and is perfect height unlike figuarts and rise. That's my opinion though.
Swade dragon stars doesn’t have an alternate face tho.
Dragon star cell is actually really good for a dragon stars cell I prefer dragon stars cell cause sh figuarts one goes for 200$ on ebay
I like the color scheme of this one the most because it looks just like his manga colors and I prefer the look of the red eyes over the pink.
I'll stick to my original Cell, already skipped on the premium color edition cause I thought it's too bright. (altho lookin at it now in your review it doesn't seem so bad the pink just irks me) The new one looks ok but honestly I smell a new mold is right around the corner that's why they recycle this one for the last time. I mean they did they same thing with Vegeta, releasing the premium color version only to announce a new mold a couple of weeks after it.
the real Payne Yea im not buying another cell. I have the og as well. No sense in reselling the exclusive cell either cause PC cell is widely available.
I had been thinking of tracking down a Cell sometime...now I'm torn between Premium colors and this new one. The bright colors of the Premium just POP - I love it! But man, the blue on this new one is a perfect compliment to the green. Really tough choice.
Alexx1083 well yah know, you could always get both! But if price is a major selling point PC cell is still widely available at retail (65) while this one is gonna start a good bit over 100 if you aren’t gonna be able to make it to one of the DB tour events.
Everett Clunie lol that is a very good point! I just looked up PC Cell and he's not hard to find at all. I thought maybe this one might be simple enough, but you're right, he's probably going to go for those dumb exclusive prices.

You can only acquire him along with the Broly and vegito blue at the North America dragonball tour. And if you can’t make one of the 7 stops, then you can acquire them from scalpers

Personally I really like the premium color edition & the sdcc one, it was a toss up for me but I finally decided on the sdcc one, plus I think that one has the best looking blast effect outa the three

I’m getting this cell aswell as the Premium color one and some other charecters.
In my eyes the perfect cell(pun not intended) give him premium color scheme, update the body(more bulky)+articulation so perhaps a cell 2.0, make him taller(dragon stars height perhaps) and a unique hand to point at his head(when he comes back after exploding) keep all the accessories and please let them fix the faces they always seem off.
The premium color edition is still my favorite.

Thank God this is coming to Toronto Fan Expo. Crossing my fingers that I'd get some of these event exclusives.
Looks like 2021 Figuarts is going to be heading towards the Android/Cell saga so guessing we'll see a new version of Cell in 2022 or something. Hopefully the design will actually look a lot better.
I honestly think the original Cell is the best looking of the three.

Ok, so there's 2 manga versions of Perfect Cell like how there's 2 Movie 8 versions of Broly (green hair)? Fantastic work, Bandai! Least this means Broly is more available again considering he's always been a premium. As for the colors, I'm kinda mixed about it, I like the blue on this one, but also the bright colors on the Premium. Now we just need a gold version Celldorado.

I was debating btw this one and the new Broly but decided to go with Broly.
The premium color one with neon green rly stands out on my shelf already.. I know the dull green on this is more anime accurate but the bright green rly looks too pretty to replace it for this.

swindle johan Think about this. The Premium Color Cell is $60 and original Vegito is like $90 now. It might be better to spend more for the Vegito Blue since normal Cell isn't expensive.

This Cell has a perfect green. The blue is feom the manga, but I don't really prefer it. Gonna wait for a 2.0.

Figure rise is the best Cell figure. I'm looking at it right now, and its such a better build!
I would say I still prefer the premium, though the blue does have a thing going for it. Really though I wish they would of just dived in & do something like cell Jr colors, it's a common alt color pallet in dbz games for cell & would pop pretty good on a db display shelf.

Loic B. It's not an SDCC release. It the DB Tour exclhsive but the first stop of the tour is SDCC. I can see why most people don't like the blue though but I do enjoy that we have a manga version of cell.

The first release is by far my favorite. The blue joints, while beautiful, aren’t accurate to the character. I’m still waiting for an imperfect cell figure.
