I'm 64 and work highway construction as a Laborer. I had a heat stroke 12 years ago not at work. Once you have heat stroke it comes on a lot quicker. I have decided not to work for the last 2 weeks but will give it a try this week with the weather being a little bit cooler and less humidity. It sucks!
I am 88 and just worked on my farm all day yesterday in 107 degree heat. As long as you drink some fluids, I prefer Busch Light, and take a break every 4 hours or so for about 15 minutes, you will be fine. I bailed 345 hay bundles yesterday and had to stop only because I was buzzing off the Busch lattes and I was driving the heavy equipment crooked. Back at it today.
@@CD-rt8wj I forget her name, and I can’t be bothered to Google it. But she’s always been obnoxious and annoying. I remember a few years ago she rode along in car with MTJ during the championship parade in Vegas. Super annoying the whole time.
Chase speaking his mind and saying what he really thinks is hilarious. It’s so refreshing seeing him not being 100% straight laced professional all the time.
His Dad would crawl out of cars in the 80s completely spent after going 500 at Dega with zero cool suits, I think Chase has inherited some of that toughness his Dad always had.
All of those drivers have one man to thank for those cool suits who just happens to be as tough as they come and a seven time Cup Champion Jimmy Johnson and Hendrick Motorsports.Nascar knew this new car was way hotter than the older ones and took almost a year to make changes.Heat exhaustion only gets worse never better.
I love the hot weather because my body is always cold so my body temperature is always 10 to 20 cooler than what the actual temperature is outside. So I love the summer weather.👍And I hate the winter weather because I'm always freezing cold in the winter time and I always have to where a whole bunch of clothes to stay warm.
She was doing it to all of them. Watch Larson’s clip when he says he hasn’t seen the new driver cooling system they’re using (because it’s inside the car) she snaps back with “how haven’t you seen it?” Comes off like a total B.
Come on people, they just get in, get the car up to speed and set the cruise control, turn the thermostat down on the A/C to 60*, and just drive, taking a sip of Dr. Pepper about every 20 miles or so and chat with the crew chief about when to change the tires. No biggie.
The old guys used to drink lots of Gatorade before a race and piss all in their race suits to stay cool in the car . The newer technology must be wonderful to not do that .
You can’t pour water in yourself in this generation of cars though because there have been cases in recent years where guys would do that and then the water would boil and you’d end up with some burnt cheeks😳😳😳
@@nathanreed2610 Hey brother I thought boiling point starts at 212 degrees the human body becomes hyperthermia at 104 and shuts down . The have straws attached to helmets and drink fluids all thru the race now . so im confused on how it could boil inside them unless their body is literally on fire based on your statement . Also this is the first year of this car . Thanks for the reply
@@chriscash4118 you’re right about the 212, but they definitely don’t shut down at 104 because the cars get around 120 or 130 and usually drivers can handle it with a non damaged car. They also have a hose connected to their helmets that connects to a cool box to keep their head cool, and then they have a water bottle with a long straw in reach. But on the boiling thing, multiple broadcasts have said that pouring water on yourself during the race can result in it boiling in the bottom of the seat and making it miserable for a driver
These “reporters” are downright embarrassing. You and Nate Ryan seem to be the only halfway intelligent heads there. Even Danny B was interrupting drivers and asking stupid questions.
Is it just me or does it seem like Joey is getting laid on a regular basis now? This whole season he has been oddly chipper 24/7 which IS a good thing for the rest the pack
That's why chase is the man!! It's always been hot in the cars, and drivers 10 years ago embraced it, just like chase is. Be a man!! I'm grateful chase knows what that means.
I'm 64 years old. It's 96 degrees here. Yesterday, I worked outside all day. I love the heat. Just stay hydrated.

NASCAR media, "lets see how many different ways we can ask STOOOPID questions about how hot it is" !!!
I know, it’s painful to listen to

Danny b talks his voice can be recognized anywhere
They need to quit interrupting you Noah let them get your questions in god!
Yeah that woman there was obnoxious
Right? Personal pet peeve of mine.

It's summertime in Tennessee. What do you expect

I guess Nascar needs to put Air Conditioning in the Race cars. Make the sport more softer.

You can definitely adapt to the heat. 🤘🏼❤️

The drivers are too focused on driving to think about the heat too much.
Come to Florida, yep enjoy the heat. Because nothing you can do. I spent 90% outside. So I’m use to it. It sucks, but that’s life
just think what the driver's in old days had to face
Side windows were all opened up back then.

Maybe these guys need to go race the Baja 500 or the 1000.
The old guys used to drink lots of Gatorade before a race and piss all in their race suits to stay cool in the car . The newer technology must be wonderful to not do that .
The old guys also had wide open cockpits where a ton of air could get in. Cockpit temps were way lower than they are now

Why are the reports so close to them? Joey looks like he trying step back but the wall is there 😂 6 foot rule
Exactly it's ben 95 and I didn't think it was that bad cause I keep telling myself that

He looks alot like Truex. Even has his some of his manerisms. Racers
It's chase not Noah ru new
Larson Is the only one that doesn't look like he's on fire...
Chillout Systems!
K.Busch wasn't whining.

Hey funny you say that him and Kevin Harvic have been spending a lot of time on Broke back Mountain trout fishing on their off time
