And apparently the owners talk very poorly about Black people. Their creative director quit over it and exposed them ☕. Shea Moisture isn't anymore either, probably part of the reason the products are trash now 🤷🏽♀️
YES GIRL do the individual videos for each brand!! ive tried mane choice infused gel before and it did not lay my hair....it was almost too oily and didnt hold my hair. but I LOVE their hair oil! Aunt Jackie's gel is good! I've been using that since EcoStyle gel was making people hair fall out.
Lol kaleidoscope is one of those words that you always knew how to say it but never knew how it was spelled. So when you finally see it written out it doesn’t register in your brain.
Thank you so much for that list of black owned vs. not black owned! I’ve been googling one by one while shopping. Instead I screenshot your list and will keep it on my phone! I can’t wait to review these. I’ve had my eye on Camille Rose and Mielle products for a while!
Paris Milan actually did a documentary on the sisters who started that brand. It touches on how one committed suicide & was married to a white man who fought for the rights to their company & now owns it. It’s called the Tragedy of TiTi Branch
Jasmine u never let us down!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰I’m not black I’m Arab (Lebanese 🇱🇧) living in the uae 🇦🇪 but now is the time to support black lives✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️I LOVE YOU 😍
Hi, I really liked this vlog :) The idea of doing hair routines with black business owned products would be good. So, using one brand for your entire hair routine all the end. In doing do, you can compare the different products lines and give us your verdict as per distinct criteria that you measure them against.
Hi Jasmine, we should not only shop because they’re black owned, but the black owned products are actually better then the other products that aren’t. I’m not certain if it’s because the owner’s have more knowledge of black hair. I’m proud of you using your platform to inform people… Great Job!! 😊❤
Girl ! You not lying !!! My whole hair care system is Camille 🌹- all the way down to her Cocoa Nibs hair serum to seal and moisturize my scalp. I don’t use anything else !
Definitely dedicated videos for the various products. Also if you haven’t already tried TGIN’s Honey miracle mask, you’ve got to try it. It’s my favorite deep conditioner. The slip is top notch
@@Ashanti_flower24 I can say.....IT'S BLACK OWNED!!!!!! BCUZ IT IS!!!!! SHE STARTED OUT MAKING HER PRODUCTS IN HER KITCHEN SWEETIE, SOOOOO.... 🤷♀🤦♀. DO SOME RESEARCH 1ST B4 U TRY& HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH ME!!!!!
Pink Rose' And she has sold her company to L’Oréal meaning she doesn’t not own the company anymore. She just runs it. You can be the CEO of a company but it doesn’t mean you own it.
please do separate Black owned hair brands wash day & styling routines!!! That would be so informative and supportive. Do Camille Rose Naturals, Mielle Organics, Uncle Funky's Daughter, Alikay Naturals, Curls, etc. And maybe go even further and do the multiple collections within each brand
I love the Mane’s Biotin Infused gel. I just started using it recently. Good choice and Aunt Jackie’s Gel is one of my favorite gels. Good choices. Do a tutorial on each product line.
@@flytjsosweet I think you may be referring to Pash Tash. She no longer on UA-cam unfortunately. I've used their pomade and it works great for twistouts.
Wow, all I could pay attention to is your makeup! That orange is EVERYTHING.. please share the info on the lipstick and eyeshadow... that shirt is perfect with it... love u
This is a great video. You explained the phrase "black lives matter" really well. And absolutely do a full routine review per brand, that would be cool.
Kathleen Batista when there’s a problem is when you purposely put exploit black women and pretend to be black owned by using black characters to push your product. It’s fucked up how a lot of them push out these products. Meanwhile, actual black owned products aren’t thriving as much. For example aunt jemima and african mall.
Kathleen Batista You obviously missed the point of this video. It's not about what works. The purpose of this video is to provide information about BLACK OWNED brands that offer products that could possibly work for you. If it doesn't matter to YOU then this video is NOT for you.
Here in Chile there's barely any products for curly natural hair. None of this brands (not black and black owned) are available at the stores here😭😭😭😭 literally almost no one
I really enjoyed your video. My daughter is 12 and hair similar to yours. we have yet to find a combination that works well on her hair so I was so do excited to start looking for the 3 products you used and unfortunately found it hard to find them. At our target they do not sell it in store and limited online. I am finding it difficult to find them. . Wish me luck.
I respect how people are taking the time out to find out and support black owned businesses. This really makes a statement.
Folks was pissed about that Eco Styler not being black owned. We been using that gel literally our whole life 😂😂😂😂😂😂
it doesnt work for my hair anyways
Really...omg
What??? I didn’t know that.
And apparently the owners talk very poorly about Black people. Their creative director quit over it and exposed them ☕. Shea Moisture isn't anymore either, probably part of the reason the products are trash now 🤷🏽♀️
@ChristinaQueenHeart yes speak the truth check out a UA-camr by the name finally amber. It might still be posted on her community page.
I wan to see all the curly hair routine with all the different product of black own brand !!!!
Imane, me too @jasmine !
I went on African Pride's website, and it says that they've been purchased and now owned by black women in 2016.
@Ayanna T that's true lol, I do like their moisture miracle line though
imma have to try it because I love their leave in
The owner of African pride is white but his wife which is on the board is black
You telling meeeee Shea Moisture ain’t black owned 😫😫😭 damn 😭
InfiniteJoy22 it used to be but not anymore
twinkle star ohh wow, I thought they were black owned the whole time 😭
It is black-owned because the Parent founder (Sundial Brands) is a Black-owned business.
@@jadedunaway716 Sundial Brands was purchased by Unilever in 2018, but the new CEO is a black woman.
InfiniteJoy22 the sold it kinda recently
it hurts that shea moisture isn’t black owned it’s made for my thick hair girls . 🥺
It was originally but they sold it to the white man for a few coins
It WAS. Some of these companies when they become successful are bought out by white corporations who see them as the commodity that they are.
Yes not black own but the head CEO is black the original owner is still part of the company
Same but I use Shea Moisture and its really good on my hair
@@KshipsinKchups how lmao

Mane choice is also not black owned, as they were acquired in November 2019! Great video and info girl :)
